Barras recently fitted me a lovely new kitchen their attention to detail and workmanship is 2nd to none. Thank you to everyone, for the installation I will certainly be recommending you to others.

What a fabulous company. We struck lucky 1st time. Went in shop only to look. Came out, bought kitchen units and fitted wardrobes! It's a family company since 1987, John's the owner together with his sons. Fitters were family/ long term employed with them.
Everything was absolutely brilliant. We choose our units with the help of James and John. Gary was the project manager who constantly checked we were happy. They even STARTED ON ANY EARLIER DATE! Each morning they came early, they even bought their own microwave, vacuum cleaner. Each night they cleaned up! Used a filter machine for dust as had to have new plastered walls. Can't fault workmanship of everyone that came here. We're so thrilled! They're what you'd call "old school "! Took approximately 2.5 weeks. John visited to make sure we were happy. We certainly are!

John and Gary along with their team were brilliant. They have done an amazing job of our bathroom to an exceptional quality and within a good timescale. The staff and builders were so helpful and respectful during the whole process.

When we decided to replace the bath with a walk in shower we went straight to Barras Home Improvement.
Over the last 20+ years we have used Barras for over 14 refits between us and our family - Kitchens, Bathrooms and Bedroom,

We went back for more! Having had a new kitchen fitted by Barras just over a year ago, we had no decision to make about who would fit our bathroom.
From our first visit to the showroom,we were offered excellent advice and service. We were offered many choices and styles of fitments , flooring and tiles,but at no time were we pressured into either buying or making a quick decision. We were given a start date and an accurate finish date which was achieved .
Praise must go to all staff involved in the actual fitting of the bathroom as they were punctual,polite and professional at all times . We now have a bathroom that we love and are delighted with. We recommend Barras wholeheartedly.

I cannot speak highly enough of Barras Home Improvements.From start to finish the whole experiance was positive and mum now has a fantastic new kitchen.
All aspects of the 3 week project from the design and inception to the fitting and workmanship were to a very high standard.Everything that was promised was delivered and where possible improvements were made along the way.

Recently had a new bathroom from Barras after having a kitchen last year. All staff are friendly and professional, tidy up after themselves, work to a high quality. The products and advice in the showroom are also really good.

This is the third time we have used Barras Home Improvements. They are a trustworthy company that delivers a quality end product. Every stage of the process from design to final installation was carried out in a highly professional manner. They definitely reflect the old adage, ‘you get what what you pay for’. We decided to have our bathroom renovated and converted to a walk in shower, on recommendation we contacted Barras Home Improvements Ltd. for a quotation. Gary came in and assessed our requirements made some very useful suggestions as to the design of the shower room and showed us samples of the materials to be used, he then produced a comprehensive quotation for us.

The thing we liked about Barras (besides being easy to deal with) was that they take on the whole job so we didn’t have to do anything, they sourced all materials, arranged the skip, got all the trades in when they were needed and relieved us of any responsibility all masterminded by Gary who project managed the job.

Phil and Will did a great job and carried it out in a skilful and considerate way minimising the disruption to us and completing it in a timely way, as well as being a nice couple of blokes. I appreciated their attention to detail. Also nothing was too much trouble, Phil even fixed a problem with our stop tap which wasn’t part of the job.

Unfortunately there was a problem with the tap in the basin but Gary sorted it out for us very quickly by replacing the whole tap and pipework to it.

All in all a very successful project and we would recommend Barras Home Improvements Ltd.

Old kitchen, bathroom & en-suite stripped out and refitted with new and improved products & features. Ceilings and walls plastered & tiled; floors relaid. New consumer unit installed & certified; electrics & plumbing upgraded to meet current regulations.

Barras Home Improvements provided full project management from design, through procurement & installation, to completion.

Excellent support from the entire team. Amazing patience and advice in the design phase with detailed attention to ‘future proofing’, including safety, space saving and efficient features. Everything completed as specified to very high standard.

I bought a bathroom suite - James was exceptionally helpful, with proactive communication and advice - to make sure the suite was right for me. The suite itself is of a very high standard - mirrored by the customer service I received from James and the team at Barras Home Improvements. Highly recommended!

Great company and people.
Very helpful from the start of the project with detailed experience and knowledge of design, specifically for my older parents with mobility issues.
Design was great and has worked really well with grip handles and non-slip etc.
What was fantastic too, was that the people doing the install asked my dad where he would like things and at what height. So the shower room is tailor made for him.
They were really good people to have around too, everyone was lovely.
We had a few other jobs as well as this, the main one. All work was excellent and neat. The work area was cleaned up at the end of every day.
There were no delays and jobs were done on the days pre-arranged. Good communication and invoicing.

The service and advice you all provided from the day we walked into the store was excellent. You listened and answered all our questions honestly, never pressurised us and always guided us to make the right decisions. Once the worked was booked in the whole project ran like clock work and the 5 weeks flew by. The fitters were professional, very experienced and never let us down. They are a great credit to your company. We are so glad we picked Barras again. We had a dream ...and you helped to make it come true. We love our new kitchen! Thank you so very much for everything.

My wife and I were extremely impressed with the professionalism and courtesy shown from our very first visit to Barras Home Improvements and meeting John Spencer, family and staff at the showroom and until completion (and afterwards). of our project.
With the whole project being managed by Barras the standards of work in all areas of the project, from supply of a complete new kitchen/diner along with a completely new downstairs toilet and shower, was to a very high standard throughout.
The friendly family/staff who worked on the project for Barras helped us get through what was a tremendously difficult period of upheaval.
There is no doubt that without the guidance, advice, design and full inclusion with all matters (including biscuit choice), we would not have had the kitchen/diner and downstairs toilet/shower room we had dreamed of to help us through our later years.

A great service from start to finish We were given excellent advice and product choice to take into account my mother’s limited mobility. The fitters worked extremely hard to complete the job within a tight timescale and kept us updated throughout the work. The finished shower room meets all our requirements.

Having searched for a company to manage all trades and provide excellent service. I recommend Barras Home Improvements. We decided to have a bathroom overall and discussed our needs with John. After a visit to our home, we identify what we required, we were provided with a full CAD view by James of our project and a full costing package. Gary was the project manager who kept us updated with progress. The team consisted of employed trades, structural removers, plasterer, tiler, plumber, cabinet fitter and electrician. All trades working in unison managed by Gary. Thanks for providing a stress-free installation.
