Not refunding cancelled order

We ordered some bathroom accessories and after chasing and being told there was a delay in supply, they agreed to cancel the order and refund the money. However they have not replied to any emails sent over the last month asking when the refund will be processed.

Had to get my money back through paypal for items they have never had in stock.
Good Job I checked reviews and ordered elsewhere, as I was assured my items would arrive before the date my bathroom started.
Terrible company!

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Extremely poor experience with Bathroom Village - AVOID AVOID AVOID. Ordered MyLife shower kit and tap via Brennan over the phone (who was helpful) but no delivery after 4 weeks and then chased every week being given a different story each time as to why not delivered.

In the end after over 10 weeks waiting, parts of the order were delivered. However, the wrong items were sent and the ones that were right were damaged beyond use. I sent them back the same day and no refund has yet been issued after 3 weeks waiting. Whatsmore, last week they sent out the missing parts (shower head) from the original order despite me requesting an order.

When you ring up, the "customer service" team simply says we only deal with online orders and says someone will call back but never does. Suggest you avoid this company at all costs.

Absolutely shocking company

Absolutely shocking company!
Ordered a part for a radiator for it not to arrive. Requested a refund and 3months later still no refund!
Told I would receive a call back from manager after multiple ignored calls and still no call back. Horrendous customer service!
Have been advised to dispute payment with my bank by customer services!!

Avoid this company

Ordered a radiator with Brennan the sales rep with an expected delivery time of 6 weeks. Radiator never arrived despite me chasing up and receiving numerous guarantees that it would be delivered. Requested a refund. Refund never received. Had to open a fraud case with my bank to get the money refunded. Avoid this company at all costs. I would say that Brennan was very helpful and I got the impression things were out of his control. The invooce came from a company with a different name. Unity Bathrooms Ltd

Wish I had seen these reviews before…

Wish I had seen these reviews before ordering! Placed an order for a shower tray (£700), never arrived and only when chasing up, told it’s no longer stocked. Requested a refund, it’s now been over three weeks and still no refund, despite multiple emails sent. I’ll have to pursue now though the bank!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Painful experience all round

Ordered and took around 5 weeks to be delivered to warehouse - arrived smashed, they reordered and sent out. No time slot so had to wait in all day. Arrived broken - aside from cardboard box, no protective packaging so not surprising. Agreed refund and then took over 2 weeks to process the refund. Another 4 days for the money to arrive in my account. Spent inordinate amount of time on 'phone and email sorting this out and ended up with nothing.

Zero communication

No communication after order re timescales being exceeded or estimate of when items will come/if they are delayed. Kept saying it would be a few more weeks whenever i called. Rang the supplier myself who said this was a lie and items were in stock. They actually advised me to avoid this company and order elsewhere. Had to do a chargeback with credit card to get a refund. Terrible company.

Still waiting…from Dec 2023

Bought the taps in December...still waiting.

The taps were order in December 2023 at a cost of around £400. I was told at the time it would be 10-11 weeks for my order due to the plated finish.

So my taps arrived in February...wrong order. After discussing with Bathroom Village taps were returned and part of my order was delivered, the bath taps.

I was then told on 8th March to expect the sink taps within two weeks. Im still waiting.

Email sent to Bathroom Village on Friday for an update. Still no response. If i had to buy these again I would buy them elsewhere. At this point I've had the bath taps installed without sink taps and can't cancel. Ive waited too long already.

Best bet, buy elsewhere off the shelf. Whole experience has been ridiculous.

Avoid

I have made purchases from several bathroom companies in the last few months but Bathroom Village is terrible beyond belief.

Made a large order and was happy to wait 3-4 weeks lead time as that fitted my renovation timeline. The website states 3-4 weeks for items coming from suppliers, again understandable. However once the 4 weeks past it’s becomes tedious as you have to chase and chase them. No email, call or messages to update you on your order, no apologies for the delays just poor customer service. They don’t even know when my items was going to reach them let alone when they would be able to send it to me. I started cancelling some items, I needed urgently, off my order after when I requested for lead time but they never refunded me my money. Waited over 7 weeks until I had to cancel my entire order as they didn’t even have a lead time just kept saying next week or a few days then that time comes and they say the exact same time. No accountability I was able to order the same items from other companies and received within 2-3 days so essentially Bathroom Village don’t hold any stock. Finally received my full refund.

They might be cheaper but most certainly not worth the added stress. Absolutely regret purchasing from Bathroom Village never again.

Don't trust the 48hr times

I am a return customer for Bathroom Village and have always had good service and quality products from them.
Bought a new bathroom from the Internet on Sunday 26th November to take advantage of the black Friday prices. I deliberately picked items with a 48hr delivery timescale on the website.
The company have not contacted me to arrange delivery at all, I've had to chase them. And they've only partially been able to fulfil my order. The bath is still outstanding and no commitment to a delivery date- maybe next week (it says within 48 hours on the website).
Just wanted to inform others that the 48 hour delivery on the website isn't reliable so don't buy things thinking you will get them quicker.
My advice for the company: don't make a 48 hour commitment on the website that you can't stick to, and be better about getting in touch with customers who've ordered on line

Undisclosed 10 week wait!

Ordered some bathroom accessories with no indication of a wait time. I waited 2 weeks then called and they advised it can take up to 4 weeks for shipment, I waited another week then rang for an update and they advised it can actually take up to 10 weeks! Completely avoid.

Just to advise all lead times are clearly displayed on all products under the "estimated delivery section". The items that you ordered are special order items and the up to 10 week lead time is clearly stated. As advised over the phone the coloured items you ordered are plated to order with the manufacturer and so unfortunately do come with an extended lead time.

Mike at Bathroom Village (Exeter) was…

Mike at Bathroom Village (Exeter) was amazing throughout our bathroom refurb. We purchased all the bathroom furniture from him - he went out of his way to ensure our colour design was enhanced and consistent. He looked for products on offer and even stored them until we were ready for our bathroom refit (3 months later). I feared the service would stop on delivery but no… Mike was on hand to support our fitter and ourselves with any queries about the products, how best to fit and even sent replacement seals after a misfit. I can’t praise the team highly enough and would recommend bathroom village to all my friends and family. I will certainly be using them again. A professional and thorough service from start to finish.
