Excellent service
We purchased a new shower head from Bathroom Village, but discovered that the fittings in our shower did not fit the new shower head. The Manager, Daryl went out of his way to help us find an adaptor so that we could install the new shower head. We were extremely pleased with the service and the product and would certainly use Bathroom Village again. Thank you Daryl.

Average service, expensive prices
We bought taps for our bathroom from Bathroom Village. They sent our order to the billing address instead of the delivery address, which was inconvenient. As we had received no prior warning that our order has been dispatched and was out for delivery we were unable to check any delivery notices and only became aware of this by chance. The original order definitely had the correct address on, because I went back and checked it after I became aware of the problem.
Fortunately we were able to retrieve our order. We had no notification from Bathroom Village that our order had been delivered, so we wouldn't have known it had been delivered to the wrong place. We didn't get any compensation for the mistake which I was fairly unimpressed with, given how expensive their price are I felt they could have given us a partial refund as a goodwill gesture, but apparently this is not their policy. I don't know what would have happened if we weren't able to access the billing address as well as the delivery address, or if we had ordered a large item from them - it would have been a nightmare. Luckily they are geographically close! There are all sorts of reasons that you would have a different billing and delivery address, it's such a basic thing to get right. This has really put me off using them again.

You notified us of the issue with your delivery on Monday evening and a response was sent to you via email on Tuesday morning. During this correspondence you confirmed that you had received your delivery and that no further action was required from us and that you just wanted this to be raised with our courier company.
We offered straight away to rectify this issue by collecting the order from the incorrect address and redelivering to the shipping address (at our expense), this offer was declined as you said it was only a couple of streets away and that you had already picked up the items.
In this correspondence you asked us for compensation. Unfortunately we do not offer compensation under these circumstance and we had already offered to rectify this issue.
Sorry to hear that you thought the price that you paid was expensive. Just to clarify the price that you paid for the goods was clearly stated during checkout. The order already had a 30% discount applied plus you received an additional 5% welcome discount on the purchase which also included free delivery.

A superior bathroom company.
I wanted a specific WC that I could not buy at a competitive price locally. After scanning the internet I came accross Bathroom Village. As none of their 3 branches were anywhere near me, I telephoned them to see what availabilty & lead time were. I was impressed with the knowledge & telephone manner of Laura at their Wellington branch. Consequently, I felt happy to place an order with them that day. The whole process was efficient from then on & I now have a very nice BSI toilet & matching seat which I am sure will be top class!
So I can highly recommend Village Bathrooms to do business with.

I have just been to your Wellington showroom and the service I received from Daryl was outstanding. Not only did I telephone at 4.20 in the afternoon, everything I asked for was waiting for me when I arrived at 4.45, unfortunately I then changed my order to something else in the store but that was met without any problems. When I refurbish the bathroom in the house I have just moved to Daryl will be my first port of call.

Shower Project
Undergoing a refurbishment of a shower room I required a 10ml thick glass hinged door with two side glass panels. Bathroom Village was the only place I could source it. I dealt with a very nice woman called Laura, who explained everything to me as it had to be specially made because of the thickness, and gave me a probable time frame for delivery. In fact it arrived sooner, to the delight of my builder and plumber! Unfortunately, it arrived badly damaged. Laura was as upset as myself about this. She said she would refund my delivery charge and Laura went straight to the manufacturer and asked if the new order could be expedited. Meanwhile work halted on my project. Today I have just taken possession of an unscathed glass door and panels! It arrived quicker than I thought it would.
I messaged Laura to thank her and she was delighted that all was good. My plumber did say to mention to her, that the packaging from the Manufacturer was the poorest he had ever seen. No padding inside the large flimsy cardboard or around the glass, and nothing around the edges of the glass to protect them. Laura said she would pass these comments on.
I would certainly deal with Bathroom Village again, purely based on the service I have had from Laura.

Ordered a wall cabinet and it arrived very quickly. For this particular cabinet, they offered the best price I had seen. More importantly, there was a small issue with one of the magnet door latches. I emailed them to see what could be done. I wrote at 11pm and by 9am the next morning they had already gotten back to me to let me know they reached out to the manufacturer and a new part was being sent to me straight away. Excellent customer service.

Danger - selling stock they do not have. Refusing to refund quickly.
Danger - really poor business to deal with.
Do not part with your money to these guys.
They sell products they do not have in stock.
Then they refuse to refund for two weeks.

You placed an order with us on 2/8 at 15.35. Unfortunately part of the order had actually been discontinued by the manufacturer 3 days prior and this information was passed on to you. During this communication we offered 2 different alternatives that were available however you confirmed that you were not happy with these and did not wish to amend the order.
Following on from your email on 4/8 at 16.43 to cancel the order the order was fully cancelled on 4/8 16.57 and a full refund request has been raised.
As per our terms and conditions that you agreed prior to checkout refunds CAN take up 14 days. As no goods have been received we would anticipate this not to be the case and the refund will be with you in the next few days.
We do not advertise the goods that we supply as "in stock" and clearly state on your order acknowledgment that should there be any stock issues we will be back in touch which we have in this case.

Delivered fast, packed well, lovely cupboard. It was pretty expensive for a bathroom cabinet but cheaper versions are, well, cheaper and you get what you pay for here.
