I recently did review this company 5 start for their selling process. However ever since I got my Audi A7 2018 from Beck Evans, i have had nothing but problems with the car. First i had the alternator gone in the first 3 week and Audi kept the car for a month as they had to wait for the part. A week after i got the car back, the air suspension is gone. When you call them, they don’t answer and when they do answer they say ring the warranty company. The warranty company is no help. Absolutely disappointed. I have invoices available to show when I bought the car and all the issues.

I’ve recently changed work and needed to buy a car for the first time in 25yrs maybe even a little longer. I spent weeks looking for cars narrowing down the search and ended on the BMW 5 series tourer. Then the search started properly. Beck Evans ended up having the car I purchased. I called and visited the showroom and meet Jay. Took a test drive, discussed all of the available options open to me from ceramic coatings to warranties and most things in between. I had a limited budget so we worked out what I really needed. Inside my budget limit as well. Picked the car up today…. Apart from the shock of fuel prices as I had been driving an electric car I’m super happy. I’m confident in my purchase and really happy with the level of service and contact from the dealership (Jay). Now time to drive like Miss Daisy to make that diesel last…. I recently purchased a 2013 nissan cabstar from Beck Evans. I collected it on a Saturday afternoon. I drove a short way and parked the vehicle for a few hours and returned to drive home. The smoke that came from it was unreal. I've had vans and trucks all my life and was not expecting a brand new truck by any means. People were actually stopping me on the way home.
Monday morning I called and was contacted by someone from the workshop who openly admitted they knew about the smoking issue and still went ahead and sold me the vehicle. They asked me to drive the vehicle for 1000 miles presuming so they could claim of my warranty that I paid for.
I reluctantly agreed as I did not want to cause them any issues and at this point thought it would be plain sailing. By the Wednesday it was evident that the vehicle had a serious problem and after starting the truck outside a local cafe filling it with smoke I called the workshop and arranged to return the truck.
The following Saturday the truck was dropped back to beck evans and they then had the vehicle for 2 weeks to which I had no replacement. After finally having enough and a few stroppy emails I had a call from sales manager Shaun. Admittedly shaun arranged a spare truck for the duration they had mine. They also offered me a poxy free mot and service next year. (Hope it's not from the same mot company as the ones who mot'd my replacement. That came straight from mot allegedly but had no working wipers!)
The truck they delivered me had no working windscreen wipers resulting in after them dropping it to me I was stranded on my way home as it was raining.
Again another vehicle from beck evans stranded outside my house.
4 days later I had a truck that worked, it didn't lock but it drove.
Finally my truck was delivered back and all seemed OK. I left it for a week but all that had changed was the black smoke had slightly stopped and the white smoke hadn't. The engine management light was now on and the truck was missfiring. It then took a further 2 weeks for them to agree to buy the vehicle back from me.
Beck evans could not repair the vehicle, puts a lot of hope into a company that sells vehicles in excess of 200k and can't fix an old cabstar.
My finance agreement with Motonovo needed to be unwound by Beck Evans instead they settled the finance resulting in me losing 2 months payments made for a truck they had longer than I did.
We are now over 3 months on and I'm still trying in contact with shaun who insists he did all that was asked. The only person at Beck Evans that has any decency is Billy in the workshop he is a genuine person.
In a nutshell, beck evans knowingly sold me a vehicle with an issue they couldn't rectify, then supplied another un road worthy vehicle in the mean time. Its now cost me time and money all because In the beginning they didn't do the right thing.
I would not buy another vehicle from them and would strongly advise others the same.

Excellent service from start to finish. Clear communication from Ben, who kept me updated on the progress of my purchase. But what impressed me the most was the honesty when it appeared there was a crack on the bumper, I was given the choice of waiting for the repair to be made or having the cost of the repair taken from the overall price of the vehicle. The car I have purchased is immaculate and drives beautifully. I feel very much the Beck Evans strive to provide top quality. Will definitely buy from here again in the future

Very poor communications
I've tried many times to speak to a sales advisor regarding a possible vehicle purchase, using their online chat, WhatsApp messaging and phone and have had no response. Obviously they are too busy. I would have preferred at least a courtesy call back, but have had nothing. I'll move onto another garage

AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE! NEVER AGAIN!!
The service from the start was shockingly bad, with us wasting vast amounts of time having to chase over and over again by phone and email and eventually contacting the co owner of the company to get any level of service. After then reading the reviews, alarm bells rang, but my wife really liked the car and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt (she now wishes she hadn't bothered!)
Whilst I totally understand covid restrictions, we were told that the car was at a farm and that the outside of it could be viewed by us as no one else would be there, then it couldn't, then it could but the 14 day cooling off period would be void if we did look at the outside (still no clue why!), then we couldn't.
We were also told they couldn't reduce by £399, bringing it down to £15000 but they had offered customers up to £200 OR SO off a car so could definitely negotiate. I cannot understand why they found it acceptable to tell me that and then offer to take off the admin fee of £150 but nothing more. They would include such things as the brake fluid service (cost at mini £70 which we were advised by mini is already 5 months overdue!!), an mot and a couple of other things like a 6 month warranty, which has been standard with every car I've bought, but they would not budge at all on the price, not even by less than £100, despite having had the car for some time (they told us it had just arrived but not according to the ebay listing!!)
We were told that by delivering it to us it was costing them, fuel, labour costs and wear and tear to the vehicle, not an insignificant cost, but when offering to collect if they would offer some kind of discount, even meeting in the middle as it wouldn't cost us too much but would save them significantly, they flatly refused.
If I'm honest, I felt like I was talking to a bunch of immature youths with something to prove, not professional adults running a company. For me it was actually less about the money and more to do with what level of service we would receive from them if something were to go wrong with the car after purchasing it (judging by the many negative reviews), if they could not or would not negotiate or even acknowledge my point of view and basically told me that they offer others more discount then they have offered us! Unprofessional, unhelpful time wasters who really don't care about their customers.
Please please take your business elsewhere and save yourself a lot of hassle.
**UPDATE** FURTHER TO THE RESPONSE BELOW FROM THIS COMPANY, MY REPLY IS:
AS YOU WELL KNOW THIS REALLY WASN'T THE CASE AT ALL. I ALSO THINK THE VOLUME OF POOR REVIEWS YOU HAVE ON NUMEROUS SITES MORE THAN SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. MY REVIEW HARDLY TAINTS A COMPANY WHO ALREADY HAS SO MUCH NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. MAYBE INSTEAD OF CONSTANTLY MAKING EXCUSES AND BLAMING THE CUSTOMERS FOR THEIR POOR REVIEWS YOU COULD CONSIDER WHY PEOPLE ARE PUT IN A POSITION TO HAVE TO LEAVE SUCH REVIEWS IN THE FIRST PLACE.

TO SUGGEST I DEMANDED MONEY OFF IS A BLATANT LIE AND WITH REGARDS THE SERVICE, GIVEN THAT WE WERE TOLD A FULL SERVICE WOULD BE OFFERED IF IT WAS DUE IN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS OR SO I ASKED IF THIS WAS THE MAJOR SERVICE ALONG WITH THE BRAKE FLUID SERVICE WHICH IS ALREADY 5 MONTHS OVERDUE AS IF IT WAS I WOULD PAY THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE CAR.
YOU ARE WELL AWARE THAT I RAISED A COMPLAINT WITH YOU EARLY ON ABOUT THE APPALLING SERVICE WE WERE GETTING & THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION, (WHICH ONCE AGAIN SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM RAISED BY YOUR CUSTOMERS) SO PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO SUGGEST THAT MY REVIEW IS BASED ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE ISSUES I HAVE ALREADY RAISED.
IF I HAD RECEIVED ANY DECENT LEVEL OF SERVICE FROM YOUR COMPANY I WOULD HAVE PAID THE FULL ASKING PRICE, MY CONCERNS RUN MUCH DEEPER THAN AN ADDITIONAL £99!!
I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE TO LOOK AT ALL OF THE REVIEW SITES PROR TO BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY. THANKFULLY I HAVE HAD A VERY LUCKY ESCAPE BUT MANY OTHERS OBVIOUSLY HAVE NOT!

Mercedes E220 Estate
After reading the good and bad reviews on Beck Evans I contacted Andrew and eventually bought a car without being able to view or test drive because of the distance between us.
The car was everything i had hoped it would be, well described ( there were extras not in the description as well) and very well presented. Hand over was friendly and not at all rushed.
The only improvement i would suggest is return calls were a little slow at times! emails were always answered fairly swiftly.
Summary- You will always find good and bad reviews when dealing with the general public, My experience was a positive one and i will seriously consider buying from Beck Evans again.

Really impressed with this family dealership. I initially called to request a view on an i3 which wasn’t on site. Matt offered to have the car onsite within 40-45 mins. No pushing on purchase and after checking, Matt was happy to verbally accept a couple of requests that I had before purchasing.
