Our party had to leave hungry after a long wait. without being served. The service was so bad.
We arrived 10 minutes early and got take to our table.
Then just sat there!
NO one came to take drinks orders. No one came to take food orders. The VERY FEW staff that rushed by did not acknowledge us. 25 to 30 Minutes after our booking time.
We complained, to do this we had to go back to the front desk, grab a passing waitresses and ask for a manager. A guy came to the desk. I told him how long we had been waiting. There was a look of disinterest. So we told him that we are now going to leaving.
Just got a sorry guys as he looked at the computer screen.
We eat in multiple local Beefeater's 2 or 3 times a month. I nether thought I would have to walkout of a Beefeater like this for BAD service. and hungry too, wast of our time, No sales for them.
There poor service has lost them money and lost them good will of loyal customers.
now
A very unhappy customer.
Visited the Foxburrow Lowestoft as…
Visited the Foxburrow Lowestoft as staying next door at the Premier Inn. Waited at the entrance for a table to eat around 7pm on Friday 23/8/24 with nobody to be seen for a while. When did eventually get shown to a table thought the whole building was looking run down but after a day travelling we were tired and needed to eat/ drink. We can not fault the lady serving us who was very attentive and welcoming with quick service. We went for the two course offer with the steak and chips fine as was the brownie dessert. The biggest issue was when we retired to the so called bar area. Long wait to get served drinks and tables were closed off at 8pm on a Friday night with the bar man telling us he was setting up the tables ready for breakfast with glasses, coffee machines etc being put on said tables. Also why doing this he wasn’t serving waiting drinkers who were at the bar. A big family group came in for drinks being told go sit outside after they’d purchased their drinks. They were not allowed to sit in the dining area on empty tables or move chairs from tables with said barman saying he was setting up for breakfast still. Now I’m not denying the area is used for breakfast the next day but why are you doing it at 8pm on a busy Friday night with hotel guests wanting to sit down inside and spend money. The whole pub/ restaurant is run down and doesn’t appear to want to run the pub side judging by closing tables so early. Will look for other places to drink the next two nights we’re staying here as other than convenient there’s no pub feel!

Went to the Beefeater Somerford and the food was rubbish, ordered 3 lasagne and they looked and tasted like a 99p Iceland ready meal. Obviously microwaved as had liquid round the outside. No browning on top, I found one piece of pasta! And a teaspoon of poor quality meat. The garlic bread wasn't the usual crusty sort but anaemic looking under cooked dough. Will not be returning!
False advertising and no replies to feedback given
Went to my local beefeater as they had a promotion on only to find out that the promotion seemed to be false advertising. Emailed a complaint over and heard nothing. Very unhappy with the lack of customer service provided.
No more cows there
Longford house Beefeaters was visited on Sunday 28 July! Wife’s Ribeye was very tuff and thin! I tasted and it was very tuff and was very similar in taste to a Sirloin and or even a rump! I strongly suggest that the company approach their suppliers and complain!!!! How many Brit’s think the same way? but will not complain??? Suggested to server all of the above! No more beefeaters!!!
Doncaster Lakeside - expensive and average food
Visiting the Lakeside, Doncaster restaurant on Sunday evening. Ordered salmon and veggie rise, Beef & Ale pie with chips. After 10 minutes the staff came out and said they had run out of rice but could offer chips....
The meals arrived and were very average. The salmon was burnt and not great and the pie had been in a microwave, no presentation or anything. The salmon was expensive for what was provided at £17.49 and the pie was £14.29. That evening was poorly so won't be visiting the restaurant again.
Our "Sad Last Supper" at Longford
Beefeater Longford Inn has produced good meals for generations of the family for 40 years and we have always appeciated the staff and the quality of the food. We learned today that it was our "last supper" [lunch] as the company is shutting this establishment in favour of a Premier Inn and making their loyal staff redundant. We hope that the terms will be very generous.

Charged Twice but I have to prove it because they are lazy
Beefeater Tring. I have just been on the phone with Beefeater Tring explaining that their charge card reader billed me twice. I was asked to show them my bank statement because they were too lazy to look into the transactions themselves. I the customer have to prove to them that I am not lying. I need to drive all the way back to Beefeaters to prove that they screwed up. Criminal. Whatever happened to the customer is RIGHT.

Beefeater Farnborough
Beefeater Farnborough
10z Ribeye steak that was drier than the Sahara. I requested medium to rare.
After a long wait it arrived cold and over cooked.
all our food arrived cold
chips cold and stale
the waiter claimed the reason being a big table (of 6 ) there was a total of 15 people in the restaurant including my family of four
I sent my steak back as it was not edible and I wasn't willing to pay for something so substandard.
Waiter didn't think to come offer drink top ups, I had to go find him.
Poor service, poor food.
at least the Guinness was cold
but never again.

Good Experience....This Time
Wife & I are regular visitors to the Whitley Bay restaurant & had a lovely meal there last night mixed grill & sirloin steak, both cooked very nicely indeed. Our waitress, Danni was super friendly & very efficient. In fairness, the restaurant was unusually quiet - we've been there when it's really busy and the service hasn't been at the level it should always be, largely due to inadequate staffing levels. Not sure we'd be quite as regular if we didn't get as many offers as we do!

Well it all started so well. Food was ok, took a while to come and I noticed a few tables that came in after us were served first! I don’t know what happened but suddenly staff seemed to disappear! Chefs (not in chef whites) were bringing food out and also people dressed in normal clothes with cigarettes behind their ears! Not what I expect from a chain family restaurant and certainly won’t be heading back anytime soon!
I think if I can suggest any advice you need to look at the management as clearly there are staff running around and not enough good staff.
When I complained to the manager he said that they had a few large tables and some of the staff were under 18 and had worked their shift…. Seriously on a Sunday??
Sorely disappointed!!
Sorely disappointed!!! Had to ask for missing items for two of the meals. Steak was overcooked- eventually got steak back to add to a meal that was already cold because had to wait so long for a replacement piece of steak - Wenvoe restaurant- think twice!!!
2Hour wait for food normal then it's cold
2 hour wait for food that came out in edible cold dried and steak still running around the field.
Waitress had a serious attitude backed up by the duty manager who at best were a couple of clowns.
Too busy running around getting the whole experience wrong duty manager bullied a couple of young kids.
Seriously appalling experience for the second time this weekend.
