The delivery was on time.
The delivery was on time i.a.w. the updates we received, the staff even took their trainers off at the door. The men explained how they zipped the mattresses together. They took away all the packaging. We are very pleased with the delivery.

6th February damaged goods
6th February delivery. This was a super king oak ottoman bed, super king mattress and 2 oak bedside cabinets to match the 3 oak wardrobes we’d had delivered the previous week which we love. Unfortunately the mattress arrived dirty and damaged, snagged in 3 places. The Headboard of the ottoman bed was damaged on the bedpost too.
We love the furniture which we’d waited 4 weeks for delivery, to have it arrive damaged was unacceptable. However, the customer services team were on the case straight away we were offered a discount to keep the damaged goods which we refused and therefore a new mattress and headboard were ordered immediately, with a further 4 week wait. Luckily we were allowed to keep the mattress and bed as we had family arriving from abroad the following day and needed it,
Whilst we are very disappointed with the circumstances of this delivery, the way it was handled was very professional and with care. I have got to say that all our dealings with the Bensons store staff, the delivery teams and customer services department have more than made up for the damaged goods. Unfortunately damage can and does happen, it’s how you deal with it that counts.

The staff made this a 5* review. Benson's for Beds in Barrow-in-furness is where I called into to see if they had some furniture i had seen online. They didnt have it but the friendliness of the staff made me go back into store once I had measured up and order through them instead of online. Such a great experience and would make me go back again if needed.
