Great customer service
Went in just for a look albeit we needed a new bed. Maz the store manager asked if we needed any help just to give him a shout. We asked about a specific size of bed and he showed us every option available which included a mattress which we were invited to try out. We bought a great bed and mattress with no hard sell from Maz just a great knowledge of his products. Lovely guy!

Excellent
They had a good range to choose from. The inital delivery date offered was a long wait but they offered us a cancellation date and it all went smoothly. The delivery guys were very polite, efficient and just got on with it. A great job and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bensons, everyone from the sales manager to the installation team have been brilliant.

Polite and patience service
As I entered the store Daria asked if she could help and what I was looking for. I said I was looking for an adjustable bed. She then took me on a tour of the display and explained at great length about several choice and alternatives. Answered my questions and was patience and unhurried. No pressure to make up my mind there and then. I went back home and researched in more depth the beds I had seen on both Bensons and the manufacturer's web sites.
I decided to go for a different bed than the one I took away a quote for and e-mailed Daria and Maz with some technical queries and then phoned to follow up. I got a new quote that I was happy with and provided my details over the phone for a deposit, setting up direct debit instructions interest free and being given a delivery date.
The whole process was straightforward and stress free.
Whilst in the store I was going for a special store offer which was for collection only. I went away to consider the alternative choices in depth. I was reminded about everything again and as applied to my final order during the phone call back to me

I came in to research a new mattress, not expecting to buy and intending to visit other stores. But I was impressed by the range and variety and initial electronic assessment. The salesperson was knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and personable so I felt comfortable in making a purchase decision there and then

Unadvertised Pillow Policy
I bought two pillows for £59.98. I tried a sample of the pillow in store but when I tried one of the pillows I purchased it was nothing like the store pillow for comfort. I rang the store to request a refund/ exchange for the unused pillow but was told it was their policy not to allow returns on pillows. At no point during the sale was I made aware of this policy and I can find nothing online to that effect. Had I been told I would not have bought two pillows. I spoke to the store and customer services and put my complaint in writing, but no one would help or admit that they were wrong to impose a policy that the customer is not made aware of. A seller cannot enforce a policy that it does not make the customer aware of, as consumer protection laws require transparency and fairness in business practices. Bensons for Beds ignore this fact.
