When the bed we thought we were going to buy, after seeing it on the web site was unsuitable. We were at a loss. Up step Martin to save the day. A very knowledgeable and friendly person. He listened to what our needs were and pointed out a few beds that would possibly meet our needs. He was a great help and we never felt obliged or pressured into buying. Thank you Msrtin for all your help.

Our recent visit to Bensons For Beds was totally unplanned. We needed a new mattress for sure, but had not made any moves towards replacing it. A couple of hours time wasting wandering around team valley retail park turned out to be more than just a breath of fresh air.
From the moment we entered the store we were greeted and made to feel welcome, without being pressed by sales talk. We were offered to try the computerised test bed to ascertain how the different mattress ratings would feel and to show the difference in the pressure points on your body in the various sleeping positions. This I found quite interesting to start with, but surprisingly, once you move to the various designs of mattress, the comfort rating you get from the computer means very little in itself. The only way to test the mattress is to lie on it, and the differences between the spring counts and the general constuction ie gel, latex foam etc makes a tremendous difference. Like everything I supppose, go for the best you can comfortably afford in the style you like ( either pocket sprung with gel and or foam additions, or memory foam entirely ).
We eventually settled on our choice of mattress, and then as an after thought decided to renew the bed itself as well. Once the colour and material selections were made, our sales lady went through our selections and offered all the usual add-ons like recyling old bed, installation etc. We made our choices, checked on supply and delivery options ( which I have to say were quite quick to be fair ) taking no longer than 4-5 weeks from order to delivery.
The whole experience was easy going, pleasant and stress free. I am now looking forward to getting a good night's sleep in my new bed a couple of weeks from now.

Neal,Angela and Paul made my shopping experience so easy. They were so knowledgeable about the products and did not hassle me to buy. Let me browse before I made my choice and gave me good advice when I did decide. They were helpful, polite and friendly. Talking me through the process of delivery and recycling. Nothing was a problem for them. Give this store a visit you won't be disappointed.

Julie was an excellent salesperson. She gave us all the information we needed but was never pushy. She listened to what we wanted and then showed us some beds that matched our criteria.

I went into Gateshead store to purchase a new Tv bed for my son. I’ve purchased Tv beds from Bensons For Beds twice previously and they have been amazing!
I was then spoken to by Araf he offered to help me with everything I needed. I found Araf very welcoming and so helpful to me and my mam who was with me on the day. I would highly recommend and thank you again for all your help Araf Mallik.

From going into Benson For Beds on the Team Valley retail Park we were made welcome I know this is to attract your business but the staff were very professional. The Lady who spoke to us explained about a bed that you could lie on that was computerised that when you lay on it it would tell you the type of mattress that was most suitable for your needs.

The salesman was very knowledgeable and took us through the whole experience without any pressure. We chose the bed frame, mattress and headboard based on facts given and an honest opinion. Outstanding customer service, would definitely return.

I would give my experience in store 5*. The staff were knowledgeable, polite and didn’t hound us like some other places we’ve been.

2* have been lost because I am sick and tired of getting emails/texts since the purchase even though the lady opted me out of marketing. Now, 5 days since my purchase, I have received 3 (I’m guessing automated) text messages and 4 emails, some about leaving reviews when I haven’t even had my item delivered yet. Too much too soon and unnecessary!! The receipt email could have included everything all of the other emails have said and reviews are best left after delivery or after the product has been used.

I had a good experience on 17 November in branch, however my son went with his Father on 18 November and was served by Stewart! A total different experience to the one I had by Martin. Stewart was not only rude but his attitude was disgusting. I phoned the branch to say how disappointed I was that my son and his Father had been treated so badly and that I was cancelling my order because of the treatment. I was told by Stewart over the phone that he could cancel the order straight away and so what if I wanted to cancel!! No questions as to why I felt so strongly about cancelling my order. His attitude towards myself was appalling over the telephone and absolutely no customer service!!!

So sad that one salesman represents a company where I had once been a very happy customer into avoid at all costs!!

Checked out the beds in Gateshead store . Then bought a tv bed and eve mattress. Having the best night's sleep and entertainment through the tv bed.its just to good to go to sleep after connecting xbox to it
