Very helpful team, quick and easy purchase, hassle free

The experience was just what I expected from a shop like Bensons the lady who assisted my Daughter and I was pleasant new her job very well she explained every detail of what we were buying could not fault her would definitely recommend your store to family and friends thank you again to the lady her name was Louise

The sales person at Gateshead was excellent, Louise. Very knowledgeable no high pressure sales, took us through the reclining bed process thoroughly, we were able to try out the bed in store which we found extremely useful. The delivery team were first class,had the beds assembled in under an hour, left no mess can’t praise them highly enough. Overall a really good experience.

First time being to this store the man that served me was extremely helpful after I told him about my cronic pain he did his bed to do al check and make sure I had the right products to try also very very cheerfull and he was a great salesman to have at your store and will be telling friends and family about this

We visited bensons for beds at Team Valley Gateshead on 22/11/2025 and we saw Araf who helped us look at a number of different mattresses as that was our main concern from our current one. We finally decided on a new mattress and along the way we purchased a new bed frame aswell. The process was super easy everything was broken down for us in terms of payment options and gone over in fine detail.
We can’t wait to get our new bed and mattress on the 18th December…counting down the days! Thank you so much! 😊

Visited the Team Valley store with my partner after a disappointing experience at the Bishop Auckland store the other week. Andrew at the store greeted us and made the whole experience of buying a mattress very enjoyable. He went out of his way to help us choice an appropriate mattress, was not pushy, very knowledgeable and is a natural at dealing with customers. He is a credit to the company, and after having tried several other bed retailers, we settled on a purchase of a mattress from Bensons. Very happy indeed and would highly recommend!

The service in the store we received from Andrew was second to none. He was amazingly patient and helped us make the best decision. He put us on the magic bed and advised us which pillows we should use to enhance our support on the bed. Polite, friendly and a good advice. We are very happy with the new mattress. Thanks Andrew

We are returning customers. We bought 2 beds before from Benson. Louise was very knowledgable and friendly. We got exactly what we were after and we didn’t have to look around to different shops.

Member of staff Angela in Metrocentre store superb . Best on the park . Cost £80 to build each item is disgraceful . Would have been 5 star apart from this . .

Well I very strongly DO NOT recommend Benson for effing Beds.
Why on earth would they take an order, take full payment, give a delivery date they cannot achieve and cancel the day before because 'item out of stock', then give a second delivery date again cancelled the day before because 'item out of stock'.
Have they never heard of stock management???
Then topped off with a dreadful customer service from a member of staff at the store, who for some reason thought it suitable to bestow his issues regarding the purchase of a new car?!?!?!? WTF.

Helpful and knowledgeable staff and good pricing, Blue light discount was accepted as well

The manager was very helpful ,helping us choose appropriate pillows.Even though I found the product to be very expensive!

Steve took us right through the process start to finish explaining all the aspects of finding the perfect bed for our budget. He wasn’t pushy & explained how using all the tools in store would help us find the right bed for us , which we done with his guidance.

Lovely staff, no pressure was able to have a look around and staff there when needed and gave good advice
