Brilliant customer service
I made an error whilst checking in for one of my classes which resulted in a penalty for a “no show”. I contacted customer services and they very quickly resolved the matter. The Better facilities are fabulous, customer service is second to none and I am about to switch from monthly pass to annual.

Insufficient availability for the suite rooms!
The access to the gym and suite rooms are very complicated I always have to ask the people in the reception to open the door for me because it’s locked the time! Additionally the booking spaces for the swimming and suites are quite inconvenient, I literally know that there are only a few less people in there and they could easy fit many more people without even making the place over crowded, but they tell me it’s fully booked, and I been disappointed many times, despite having a full membership and its a shame that I can’t use like before because of some unnecessary strict rules….
I hope it goes into consideration so things get easier for members.

I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulty getting bookings for the Health Suite at your home centre. The Health Suite is a popular activity and gets booked up quickly at most of our locations. We advise customers to book a few days or a week ahead to ensure they get a space. I will pass on your feedback regarding the Health Suite being locked to the centre manager. You should be able to access it during opening hours.

If you have internet access on your device you should be able to use the fast track entry to access the facilities. Fantastic
The place is clean, atmosphere is nice and staff are all helpful. The swimming teacher for my daughter does not waste any time at all, he makes learning to swim fun at the same time as being structured. My daughter loves it.

I don't like the fact that when I go to…
I don't like the fact that when I go to Abraham Moss and use my code to get in, the app shows that I didn't come for a registered class. I have to stand in line and inform the reception that I'm there, then it shows that I'm in a class. I've already received a penalty for signing up. to classes and not showing up even though I was there

We are sorry to hear of the difficulties you have been facing. If you scan in more than 15 minutes before a class is due to begin the system may not recognise you are coming in for that activity and you may have to be registered manually.
Please report any issues with penalty fees you feel are incorrect with the concierge team at your centre and they will be able to investigate.

More women's only sessions
There is none or not enough Women's only swimming and health suite sessions during peak times (early morning, weekend and evenings). I am working full-time and paying a monthly membership yet not expecting to fully benefit from it. The problem is that most women's only sessions are booked up a week in advance, because of the limited availability. Also, it's not ideal having one out of the two women's evening swimming sessions at the same time as one of the few women's only evening health suite sessions. Also, the extended car park is closed at this time (9pm-10pm) and there is limited parking on site. As a women, I dont feel safe parking away from the venue during this time.
Overall, there needs to be more sessions on in the week for working women and girls, who require segregation. There is clearly a demand for them and this is no surprise, considering the demographics of the local and surrounding areas.
Update: I have already emailed the centre manager and have yet to receive a reply.
