Friendly and kind
The instructors are all knowledgeable and kind, they make the classes fun and cheerful so you want to attend. The studios are always clean, as Is all the upstairs area. The swimming changing room can get very dirty during the day, and I don't like using the toilets as they are always dirty. The swimming pool is amazing, lovely and clean, and the staff at the pool are friendly.

Meets all my needs
Staff were very helpful with registration and induction. The equipment is everything I could need. The facilities are all very modern and clean and tidy. Has swimming pool, gym, sauna and classes included in my membership .

Disgustingly filthy changing rooms…
Disgustingly filthy changing room for swimmers. It's supposed to be a shoe free zone but many people ignore this and brazenly walk in with dirty, muddy shoes and boots. The floor is often mucky and the changing rooms are littered with bits of food, hair, mud or worse and sometimes soiled nappies! It's horribly gross!

Dear bath leisure centre
I am writing to express my concerns about the poor conditions at Bath leisure centre, which I experienced on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, the state of the facilities leaves much to be desired, and it has reached a point where I feel compelled to raise this formally.
On our most recent visit, we arrived at 9 AM, just before the leisure centre opened. Despite being there early, the toilets near the trampoline area, as well as the changing rooms, were in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. It was clear that these facilities had not been cleaned in some time, with visibly dirty floors that suggested a lack of regular maintenance, as well as overflowing bins that should have been emptied before the centre opened.
In addition to the poor hygiene, my daughter has been attending the swimming sessions with her school, and each time she returns, she complains about the overpowering smell of chlorine in the pool, and how cold the water is. More concerningly, she has consistently come back congested and has caught colds after these visits. We do not approve of her attending the pool with the school due to these health concerns.
On a separate occasion, when we used the pool ourselves, we were shocked to find bloodied rags, dirty nappies, and discarded food left in the changing rooms. The floors were muddy and unsanitary. These conditions are not only unsightly but pose a serious health risk, particularly in a family-friendly facility.
There are other leisure centres and pools in the area that maintain much higher standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend your centre and feel it is important for you to be aware of these serious issues. I hope that management will take the necessary steps to address these concerns and ensure a safe and clean environment for all visitors.
I would appreciate a response regarding how you plan to resolve these issues and ensure that the centre meets basic hygiene and safety standards going forward.

Exactly what I was looking for, it has a swimming pool, gym and classes catered for all. I can't speak for other areas, but the one in Bath is great. The staff are all friendly and helpful. All the facilities are kept nice and clean.

I love the classes and variety
I love the classes and variety .

Really good facilities
Really good facilities, particularly the pool, sauna + cold pool & and the gym area, which now has a boxing room, a dedicated space for stretching and conditioning, and also the air bikes, which are such a good work out. I haven't signed up to a class yet, but hoping to pluck up the courage and try one soon! The team are all friendly and happy to help with any query.

I had a really helpful introduction…
I had a really helpful introduction with Paula. She made me feel welcomed and relaxed about starting my fitness journey. I was able to talk to her in depth of my physical situation and choose suitable activities from a large list of classes. She showed me round the gym and other studios which made it all feel less daunting, as it's been a long time since I've been to the leisure centre in Bath. I am now looking forward to getting stronger and fitter with professional guidance.

The centre manager has been contacted and clarified that the blue roll in the centre is replenished when it finishes by the Fitness Team. So we apologise if there was no tissue at the time you attended the centre. This was an oversight.
