My son is in swimming lessons they are getting their money every month but we couldn’t find his name in the list. And also they stopped the lessons but they didn’t send my son any were else to continue his lessons. I am so disappointed

Bad experience
Bad experience, my son has been denied access to the swimming, same with his twins brother for the past 4 weeks. I have asked for changing of time because they can only go there after school which is 5:15pm. I need a refund and cancelled the membership. All my email and requests are not answered and you keep collecting our money. Is like those who are collecting our money are not working together with the swimming staff. I payed for membership and set direct debit and received confirmation for my son to start his swimming session 30/09/2025 when we reach there they say no space, so why did you take the payment and send us a confirmation email? Our experience is very frustrating 😕

I’ve just attended the six or seventh part of a weight loss program. The presenter was exceptional and the information was extremely well explained, just a shame that it’s not the same presenter for the rest of the course!

I am absolutely happy with the costumer…
I am absolutely happy with the costumer service at Better, Gavin’s effort and efficiency were out of chart when I needed. Completely in love with my Clissold Leisure Centre, the fitness classes are amazing and Abdul’s induction to the mint condition machines - plus a good training programme were the cherry on top of the cake. I cannot be happier with Better for offering the best quality structure and staff for my leisure. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family. Thank you Better I really appreciate it.

Swimming lesson in the toddler pool, which gave confidence to my child. They even jumped off the side into the big pool too

Bikes not maintained
I use the exercise bikes a lot and formally without fail at best 30 percent are fully functional. I have on three occasions told the reception staff this is the case. I don’t know if the rest of the equipment is so badly maintained, it’s getting to the point where I will cancel my membership.

The day before the last time I got…
The day before the last time I got extremely lost, the girl who was at the entrance on Saturday morning was extremely rude. I told her it was my first time at the gym and asked if I needed to check in to validate my attendance. She told me I had to check in at the gym itself. However, when I arrived at the gym, they told me I was supposed to check in at the entrance.
Because of the confusion, I rushed through my workout and went back to speak with the girl at the entrance. She was rude again, told me to check in using the machine, said “Bye,” and just waved me toward the gate. It was extremely rude.

I've had a great experience using the facilities provided by Better. One thing that really stands out for me is the female-only sessions for swimming and the sauna. These sessions provide the privacy and comfort I need to fully relax, enjoy myself, and let off some steam without feeling self-conscious.
It's clear that Better is making an effort to be inclusive and supportive of women who value a more private environment. I truly appreciate this and hope to see even more female-only activities in the future — it's a small change that makes a big difference!

The experience with the Staff at Clissord Leisure Centre was great and would have have given a 5 star. The blot is as a result of the telephone operators l spoke with last Wednesday. Absolutely unhelpful and felt torn whether l should give 3 stars for my interaction overall against great service provided by Clissord staff.
