Hatfield pool is filthy, changing rooms are disgusting. Also wish they would put better music in the gym ( travellers lane ) in the mornings.

Amazing customer service
I went for a swim Friday evening. The receptionist Charmaine was very lovely and helpful, great customer service! The pool was warm and changing rooms were nice and clean. Great overall experience.

Never been anywhere so dirty.
I feel bad for writing this, but I hope it saves another family with young children from experiencing what we did today. I have never been somewhere so filthy. All 4 of the women's toilets were unusable won’t go into detail… but I had to ask the staff to clean them so we could actually use them. The baby pools literally had float/grime/hair floating in it… it made me feel sick. The floors were disgusting, with hair, tissue and grime built up all over the cubicles as well as the pathways and bathrooms. The showers were useless, as were the hand soap in the toilets, so you couldn’t even try and make the best of it. Please don’t take your children there.

The treadmills are not working anymore…
The treadmills are not working anymore except two and the gym is lacking a lot of useful equipment. This is not worth the money im paying for the membership considering other gyms have a cheaper membership and are better maintained having equipment that frequently works and enough for everyone.
The pool at better gym also lacks cleaness and the water in jacuzzis are cold including during winter time. I don’t believe these conditions deserve £30 per month.

The Hatfield Swimming Centre I recently…
The Hatfield Swimming Centre I recently visited was an incredibly disappointing experience. The facility itself lacked sufficient space, limiting the number of people who could effectively exercise. To make matters worse, the showers were disgustingly dirty and unappealing. However, what stood out the most was the demeanor of the majority of the employees. They appeared unhappy and treated customers with a remarkable level of unpleasantness, as if we were to blame for their own personal troubles.
Although they advertise a more affordable membership, they follow a similar approach to budget airlines like Ryanair. They charge for any additional activities you wish to engage in, including a ludicrous fee they refer to as "water splashing." If you desire to go for a proper swim, you are required to separately book and pay for that privilege, which is quite frankly a complete joke.
The managers of the facility are not only rude but also inept. Despite the presence of a few competent staff members, it seems impossible for them to bring about any positive changes to enhance the overall experience. My advice is to avoid wasting your hard-earned money on this establishment. Investing in an inflatable pool for your home would provide a far superior and more cost-effective experience than visiting the Hatfield swimming centre. As for their gym, it's simply not worth the bother. There are numerous other gyms available that offer superior services at more affordable prices.

Mid afternoon is a fairly quiet period so didn’t have to wait for any of the equipment in the gym. Some of the equipment needs a bit of a clean and repair but generally tidy.

Unhelpful staff
Had trouble scanning phone to get through barrier. Was there awhile and even though the assistant was sitting behind me at the desk , she didnt ask if I needed any help.
Equipment was also abit grubby.
