I really encourage anyone taking multiple children trampolining, EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN BEFORE, to call the centre and check the adult ratios because the website & Ts&Cs are very unclear if you have multiple children that fall into different age brackets, and it would seem the centre have changed their stance in this even if you’ve visited previously and it was fine.
I’ve visited 4-5 times previously, with an under 5 and an over 5. I’ve been the only adult, and it’s never even been up for discussion with staff that this is a potential issue. Due to the website being so unclear, I did question it on my first visit years ago. I was allowed in, so I’ve assumed it is fine since.
Today I was told that you need to have a separate adult for an under 5, and another adult for an over 5.
This is unclear on the website, never happened before historically, and frankly as the site asks you to input ages, it shouldn’t allow you to check out if you’ve done it wrong.
We visited in the morning of 28th Oct 2024. I was feeling unwell so my husband came with us and I intend on going shopping alone whist they bounces. I was intending to leave them to it, as the ratio of myself for 1x under 5 and 1x over 5 has always been fine.
The staff member at the gate denied him entry and didn’t offer any solution. He called me, so I arrived, spoke with her, and then also a member of management. I had Ts&Cs quoted to me, was told it wasn’t their fault the website could be clearer, and that they don’t have control of the website. I was made to feel like I was being incompetent not understanding the ratios. Finally after a heated conversation, the member of management did admit that I’m not the first person to have said they have historically allowed access, and he is trying to train in staff better so this problem stops. So to be made to feel like I was the stupid one, and then later be told actually this has happened a lot was frustrating, and should have been what both staff members should have lead with and they should have been more understanding.
He did then listen to this feedback, and corrected the mistake by allowing me into the area at no extra change to be the extra adult needed in the ratio, and he did also fast track us through the briefing area to minimise the amount of session time we had then lost, which I appreciated.
I wasn’t happy that the conversation had to get so stern to get this outcome. But it was eventually, from my children’s prospective, a satisfactory outcome. Even though it ruined my morning! But thankfully we did have the extra adult with us so this could be made possible. I feel really sorry for anyone who does arrive as a solo parent with 2 children, who’s previously been given access who is then going to be refused. There will no doubt be a lot of crying children.
Call and check again everyone, even if you’ve been before. Or book somewhere else that has clearer online guidelines set out.

Too crowded. Not a single lane assigned for the kids. Foundation group don’t think have enough attention. They are on their own floating in the water.

I was referred to Better by Healthwise. I have done classes with Ryan who is brilliant. Also, the gym is well equipped and always kept clean and a pleasure to use.

Staff were helpful when my son joined the junior gym, for example letting him go in when it was too late to book a space and helping him out and explaining things to him.

The staff are nice and friendly and there is a large amount of different equipment which is brilliant.

The class was great but trying to get fit when the air conditioning is at 27’ is not much fun :(

Link Centre is great and has everything. I use all the facilities here on a daily basis and the staff are always helpful and friendly.
My main concerns and issues is the gym is very dirty, it needs a serious deep clean.
Members do not put weights back after use. On a couple of occasions an older member has asked if I could help them put the weights back as they are too heavy for them to lift and nobody has put them back previously.
Weight plates are left in middle of the floor causing a trip hazard and the black plastic in the middle of the weight plates are broken.
Whenever the Link Centre host that family funfair the travellers who use the facilities leave it a complete mess in the gym and swimming pool changing rooms. I have started using them again now they have gone

The centre has been closed due to flooding so I haven’t had much chance to use the facilities but it’s annoying that when I go to use the gym I get questioned by a member of staff as I try and enter like I just want to use the gym not take a survey or have some one show me around I’ve got my code I’ve paid my fee they should only question people if they ask for help or look like they need help it’s not just a polite hello it’s a grilling of why I’m there

Unbelievable how in 2023 I get told that the gym (Swindon) is closed because of a storm, I felt like in a third world country. You haven’t even bothered to notify customers of the issue, I had to find out by showing up… just disappointing and not professional at all.
