Introduction to the programme and gym…
Introduction to the programme and gym by Phil was informative and reassuring. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. As this was my first time in a gym I was a little self concious when surrounded by many seasoned gym members. Within minutes I had lost that feeling and just got stuck in. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions, and I am building my routines gradually. I can really feel the difference after just a short time. I wish I had joined a long time ago. I really look forward to going each time.

Unhappy very bad experience
After 11 years member at TQDJC , Very bad experience not recommended to join . It has changed to a profitable parking business on private gym land instead of being free parking for members all over uk branches . unheard of parking charges PCN issued for members at any gym parking to use the centre , only ( The Queen Diamond Jubilee Centre) Rugby .
The parking compony got my mobile and out of date address from the gym record which the only place has the out of date address since joined 11 years ago. To my disappointment never received or aware of any PCN issued against me till a text message sent to my mobile 8 th May 2025 , then asked to email it .
To my shocking surprise the Gemini parking company at the gym use out of date address on PCN dated September 2024 , this house been sold March 2024 ( over a year ago ) but still on my gym record.
The DVLA has updated with new address on March 2024 ( over a year ago ) but has not my mobile number .
In UK parking company or anyone has to get court order to access my mobile number details, i am a doctor and my number has kept private at my request from the mobile provider
It is a shame the instructors who running the classes at the centre are exceptional amazing , However , The office staff are worse ever to deal with , they are sending car registration to the Gemini parking compony to issue PCN treating members as stranger parking on the gym , unheard of.
For my disappointment, the manger of this branch offered to remove or cancel one PCN as a good gesture not all to be cancelled as breaching UK GDPR using out of date address and my mobile from the gym record .
Very unhappy , will escalates to the proper channel if this matter hasn’t been resolved

The staff at queens diamond jubillee centre couldn't be more helpful. I've been going to this centre for many years
I mostly use the pool which is one of the best I've ever swam in.

Very happy. Only thing I find it’s the toilets and changing rooms & showers are not cleaned thoroughly. Toilet roll needs to be replaced more often
I’m a cleaner myself, so I guess I notice this more than others

My child enjoyed the first lesson
My child enjoyed the first lesson. She has been wearing no buoyancy aid at other swimming lessons but was put straight back in 3 discs. This reduced during the lesson to 1 disc - it would be good for her to have the chance to show what she is capable of in order for her to make good progress.

Shock parking charge when using the facility
I was shocked and surprised yesterday to receive a PCN from a private parking company that GLL/Better have chosen to employ at Rugby Sports Centre.
Parking has often been an issue with the location of the sports centre leaving no practical alternative car parks. Customers have, for as long as I can remember, therefore used the periphery as an overflow once the available spaces are full.
Better/GLL however decided to implement a hidden policy change without consultation, communication or warning leading to £100 PCN's pouring through customers' letterboxes.
This is immoral behaviour on the part of an organisation trusted to run an essential public service on behalf of Rugby Council.
I tried to talk to Better-Rugby but they have directed their phone number to head office.
Following this review and a complaint Rugby Better have engaged with me and cancelled this particular PCN. More important they have clarified that reasonably considerate parking at pinch points will not lead to PCN being issued by Gemini the parking enforcement company.
I appreciate the challenges of having limited parking for customers and have updated the original one star review.
I value having access to this important facility.

Whilst we understand your frustration, the majority of our car parking facilities are not run by GLL/Better and we do not have control of the provider as this usually, contracted by the car parks owner, such as the local authority.

Great sports facilities!
Great sports facilities, with a great size sports hall, though some of the gym equipment is not as up to date as it could be. There is a good choice which is good. Also feel there is limited classes, that is a more of a personal choice.

I like the gym and the fitness classes I have only one issue . Every time I come and scan my membership card it's not working properly cuz I am unattended but I have been in classes . That's make me irritating 😔
