The understanding about the reason for cancelling my subscription. I didn't realise I could have put it on hold because of family illness in NZ. The staff allowed membership to be restored easily. Thankyou.

The building is huge so there is plenty of space. The amenities are great and the staff are helpful. The showers need improvement though.

I had a membership for a year and just used the gym. I think that for the price paid, the gym could be much better equipped and also kept in better condition. There is barely enough equipment for each type of exercise, especially considering that people do not really follow the etiquette of sharing equipment between sets and rest periods, so very often you need to wait for someone to finish before you can use a single machine. Additionally, it took a long time whenever machines needed repairs. For instance, the leg press was unavailable for a long time, and so was a single TRX which was broken. Lastly, I think there should be more stations with alcohol wipes, or alternatively, they should be more distributed across the gym in order for people to be more likely to use them. Also, wipes would often run out, and I think it's not justifiable that something as simple as refilling them would often take a week or more.

Very dedicated and full of humour. I was very nervous before I started but now I am enjoying my time at Woolwich Waves in Woolwich SE18..
