Good experience with the salesman who was very knowledgeable. Would have preferred to have had a better deal on my car I was trading in, but I did insist on another £1000 which I got.

Avoid at all cost absolutely appalling service. They sold me a car with a pre-existing fault took them over 6 months to finally sort problem out they just used excuse after excuse after excuse to avoid repairing don’t buy extended warranty because it’s worthless and covers nothing

Extremely poor reviews.
Also I wanted to buy using a credit card, which you refuse to accept.

Overall a great experience with polite and professional staff, lovely atmosphere. Easy to talk to somebody on the phone. Was a little suprised at the pushy sales pitch at the first appointment especially as it was clear from the start I wanted the car and had the cash up front for it

When we turned up was not really sure what we were looking for although talking through with Tasha she helped in going through what we felt we needed as far as a new car. No pressure just so helpful in looking at options and soon found what we liked. The process of finding and testing was so straightforward, helped by Tasha calmness, patience and so friendly and helpful and when it came to selling went through everything clearly and again took time to answer our questions. Everyone were helpful and despite being very busy ensured we were kept up to date with everything. If you’re looking for good service, friendly manner and no pressure this was a very good experience for us.

Very personable helpful sales people
Wide range of cars to choose from
Competitive prices
However, test drives booked online during the week but cars not ready on arrival, resulting in unnecessary waiting around.

Big shiny premises although I slipped twice on the wet floor with no signs out, Connor was pleasant but the two hour saga was beyond painful! Seems to be a lot of staff walking about chatting……
They say they’re the biggest car dealership they aren’t!
The constant in and out to the manager isn’t professional, you get offered bottom price for part exchange but your expected to pay their top price.
No movement on price at all even when wheel kerbed all way round….and when I showed them several cars less miles nearly £1k cheaper, the extras they want you to buy, having to repeat I don’t want finance HP I can buy cash they aren’t fussed.
The 200 point check they do clearly didn’t notice the pin in the rear passenger tyre, never mind lesson learnt go elsewhere…..
I suspect most of their positive reviews are bought and from the people who do little work by the look of it.
Can’t leave reviews their fbook page but there is a whole group set up just based on negative experiences.

Reviews for Big Motoring World are highly mixed to negative, with many customers reporting significant issues like selling dangerous cars, high-pressure sales tactics for add-ons, poor customer service, and problems with refunds, despite some positive feedback on pricing and specific staff interactions. Common complaints center on misleading vehicle condition reports, failures of the advertised "200-Point Inspection," difficulties getting faults fixed, and aggressive upselling of expensive warranties and paint protection. Some sources even mention the company's suspension from Trustpilot for review manipulation.
Due to the prevalence of serious negative reviews, potential buyers are strongly advised to conduct thorough independent inspections, research thoroughly, and be wary of high-pressure sales tactics for extras before purchasing a vehicle from Big Motoring World

Takes all the fun out of car buying, I love to have a walk round, look at different cars and get an idea of what I like. Not have to “check in” and be kept in a pen away from any cars until I have discussed exactly what I want and look at the details of cars online that I have already looked at be even arriving. Clearly the person had no idea about the cars they were selling as when asked a question he would check online for the answer. Finally I was released to where the cars are kept, taken straight to the one identified as a match and asked to return inside once I had looked at it. I didn’t dare look at any others. I was getting messages to give feedback before I had left the site, followed by more messages and phone calls. The most annoying car hunting experience I have ever had.

We had paid £129 for a Vauxhall Mokka to be delivered to Norwich from Camberley after test driving a different colour one last weekend and liking it. We were assured that as Camberley was one of their first branches that the showroom and prep is the best and we would have no issues with the new car. We had arranged to pick the car up this weekend, the salesman Miles was aware that I am heavily pregnant and we needed a car as soon as possible hence we would be picking up at 10am on the Saturday. We arrived, had a look at the car and unfortunately the quality of the car was awful, it being a 2022 plate, we expected it to have occasional marks and for this reason ignored the scuffs etc. However, what we couldnt ignore was the 7/8 deep chips along the lip of the boot plus the McDonald's straw wrappers inside the car and the fact it had not even been basic cleaned let alone prepped for collection. We were obviously devastated after being assured it would be in good condition and ready to collect. When speaking to Miles and one of his managers, we were told that they could clean the car but we would have to wait 2 hours, I am 39 weeks pregnant and we had driven an hour to collect the car, this wasn't good enough. In regards to the chips, they were unable to do anything to fix them, would not reduce anything of the price of the car and wouldnt even refund the £129 transfer fee as a good will gesture. Just tried to continue with their intrusive warranty sales pitch trying to upsell like 4 different warranties. At one point even suggesting we just increase our budget and buy a more expensive car that is in better condition. Absolute Cowboys of staff & a company. Nothing but arrogance and not once was there an apology. Disgusting.

I do not recommend buying cars from big motoring world I bought a 2021 Audi A6 on November 25, 2025 with 34,000 miles with a 3 year warranty with everything they recommended after 4,000 miles the car started having problems the warranty doesn't want to fix the car the guys from big motoring world are not interested they say to solve the problem with the warranty and look how I pass from one to another the problem is that it is leaking oil in the back at the cambelt an estimate of the cost somewhere around £1300 of course the problems don't stop here the engine light came on after not even 2,000 miles of driving I said maybe it's an error now it reappeared again today I went to the mechanic and to see the particle sensor which also costs somewhere around £600 without labor at the moment I have opened a claim with the finance company now I am waiting for them to complete the investigation plus today I also discovered that the front bumper was painted and the mechanic tells me more than likely the car miles are not real. Run away as much as you can from these individuals and don't fall prey to the nice words of someone who will convince you to buy a car.
