Jack in the showroom was extremely efficient in explaining everything about the car and its features plus all details relating to buying it. Very personable, helpful and patient. A pleasure to deal with.

We had a very good sales assistant, Joshua Revell, who was very knowledgeable, down to earth and not pushy, which we appreciated as this would have put us off entirely. We ended up having to bring our young children with us and we felt that this was not a problem, which was again appreciated.

Great way to purchase a sensibly priced car with warranty options. Not the best trade in price, so look at other trade in options first.

I was warned off by people saying the sales people were pushy, not allowing seeing a vaiety of cars etc. Visited with a bit of trepidation but the salesman who served me could not do enough and was not pushy at all.

This was my second car purchase from Big Motoring World. My first car was purchased from the Peterborough branch, and it was a very warm and pleasant experience. Because of that positive experience, I recommended Big Motoring World to several of my friends, and they also went on to purchase cars from them.
Based on that trust and previous satisfaction, I decided to upgrade my car through the Big Motoring World Norwich showroom.
Unfortunately, this time the experience was completely different — and very disappointing.
The salesperson was polite and explained everything clearly. However, the finance team had no idea how to properly take care of customers. Their attitude felt unprofessional and unhelpful. It seemed as though they were treating customers as if they were doing us a favour, rather than providing a service.
What should have been a beautiful and memorable day turned into an unforgettable bad experience because of the way the finance process was handled.
I genuinely hope management looks into improving customer care and training within the finance department, as it does not reflect the positive reputation I once associated with Big Motoring World.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Big Motoring World, Norwich branch.
I paid a £500 deposit and formally requested its return within 24 hours. Despite this prompt request, the deposit has not been refunded.
At the time of payment, I felt under considerable pressure and did not feel I was given adequate opportunity to properly reflect before committing. I raised this concern shortly afterwards, yet the matter was not handled in a fair or customer-focused manner.
I dealt directly with Ashley, the senior manager at the Norwich branch. The response I received was dismissive and lacked professionalism. There was no meaningful attempt to address the circumstances under which the deposit was taken, nor any willingness to consider a reasonable resolution despite the very short timeframe in which I requested cancellation.
While I appreciate that businesses may have internal policies regarding deposits, consumers are entitled to fair treatment, transparency, and contracts that are not imposed under pressure. The handling of this matter fell significantly below what I would expect from a reputable motor retailer.
I would strongly advise prospective customers to carefully review all terms and ensure they are fully comfortable before paying any deposit.
Very disappointing experience overall. Also after signing order paperwork was then told couldn't have some of the agreed optional extras tyre and alloy and guard x. Although paperwork wasn't updated so I guess that means null and void. So basically they are unlawfully withholding my money.

I had an excellent car-buying experience from start to finish. Albie was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful without any pressure. He also had a great sense of humour, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He took the time to answer all my questions and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
Aaliyah was equally fantastic when it came to sorting out the finance. She was helpful, professional, and explained everything clearly, making that part of the process easy and reassuring.
I’m extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this team.

The sales man was rude, couldn't seem to answer my questions, and was intentionally misleading. Lost an otherwise guaranteed sale.

Car buying can be a trying experience, but with this company it was, for me, very easy and satisfying. Not pushed into buying, helpful staff and well appointed offices. Huge number of cars to choose from. Made to feel that I was important to them.

I was impressed by the salesperson, Aron. He was friendly, polite and had a calm approach. He wasn't pushy and answered all our questions. The showroom was clean and tidy and the appearance was over all good.
The car I test drove was good but felt more tired inside than the mileage indicated, the seats were discoloured and the passenger front was broken.

The people I dealt with were very pleasant and professional. I was disappointed with the wait time. I arrived at 1 pm for my scheduled appointment but did not get out until almost 5 pm.
The start date of the warranty was incorrect. I was told it started immediately but when I received the paperwork it actually starts after the manufacturers warranty ends.

Purchased a car only 29 days ago on PCP initially I was happy with the car. 12 month warranty purchased alongside this on a PCP agreement. Then within 1 week issues started, passenger side wing mirror needed a new motor that was rectified then battery start/stop was not working that was rectified. Recently washed the car and notice a chunk out of one of the tyre’s sidewall. I was not notified of any damage to the tyre at the time of purchase, today on my 29th day after I noticed the damage I wanted to reject the vehicle as I was not notified of the damage to the tyre. Checking MOT history it shows on the MOT from May 2025 that the NSF tyre had slight damage (a cut) on the big motoring world MOT there were no advisories outlined… the tyre should have been an advisory. Visited the store twice today and on the second attempt of rejecting it the have pulled a piece of paper out stating the damage to the NSF tyre. Why this was not outlined on the MOT I do not know. It states all tyres passed the MOT check. I am within my 30 days to hand the car back if it is sold in an unsatisfactory condition to which I believe it is due to the tyre damage. They have rejected this as it’s not a “fault”. Stated I will have no other choice to than to go down the legal route of contacting the finance company to raise the complaint and the motor ombudsman their reaction “if that’s what you have to do, do it”
Would not use these again and I hope this can be resolved through the motor ombudsman. The after sales team have been unhelpful and seem to take no blame. Selling the car knowing the tyre had a chunk out of the sidewall, not a cut like outlined on the MOT from May 2025. To me this is proof of negligence.
*update* after receiving your response which I appreciate, 30 days has now been and gone. As I again stated the consumer rights act 2015 I was within my right to reject the vehicle due to it being “not as described”. I have documents that show the tyre passed inspections and does not mention any damage to the tyre. Would very much appreciate a call from senior management and if resolved I can close my complaint with the motor ombudsman. As it stands complaint has been raised with the motor ombudsman and the legal route will be taken until further notice
