The people I dealt with were very pleasant and professional. I was disappointed with the wait time. I arrived at 1 pm for my scheduled appointment but did not get out until almost 5 pm.
The start date of the warranty was incorrect. I was told it started immediately but when I received the paperwork it actually starts after the manufacturers warranty ends.

Purchased a car only 29 days ago on PCP initially I was happy with the car. 12 month warranty purchased alongside this on a PCP agreement. Then within 1 week issues started, passenger side wing mirror needed a new motor that was rectified then battery start/stop was not working that was rectified. Recently washed the car and notice a chunk out of one of the tyre’s sidewall. I was not notified of any damage to the tyre at the time of purchase, today on my 29th day after I noticed the damage I wanted to reject the vehicle as I was not notified of the damage to the tyre. Checking MOT history it shows on the MOT from May 2025 that the NSF tyre had slight damage (a cut) on the big motoring world MOT there were no advisories outlined… the tyre should have been an advisory. Visited the store twice today and on the second attempt of rejecting it the have pulled a piece of paper out stating the damage to the NSF tyre. Why this was not outlined on the MOT I do not know. It states all tyres passed the MOT check. I am within my 30 days to hand the car back if it is sold in an unsatisfactory condition to which I believe it is due to the tyre damage. They have rejected this as it’s not a “fault”. Stated I will have no other choice to than to go down the legal route of contacting the finance company to raise the complaint and the motor ombudsman their reaction “if that’s what you have to do, do it”
Would not use these again and I hope this can be resolved through the motor ombudsman. The after sales team have been unhelpful and seem to take no blame. Selling the car knowing the tyre had a chunk out of the sidewall, not a cut like outlined on the MOT from May 2025. To me this is proof of negligence.
*update* after receiving your response which I appreciate, 30 days has now been and gone. As I again stated the consumer rights act 2015 I was within my right to reject the vehicle due to it being “not as described”. I have documents that show the tyre passed inspections and does not mention any damage to the tyre. Would very much appreciate a call from senior management and if resolved I can close my complaint with the motor ombudsman. As it stands complaint has been raised with the motor ombudsman and the legal route will be taken until further notice

Great experience from start to finish
Reserved, moved, appointment made all within four days, shown round by knowledgeable sales rep, test drove, gave ample time on our own to discuss before deciding. Hard sell on products but more than a fair deal made in the end, handed over to finishing team-taxed, transferred ownership, temp insurance offered then a tour of the car to ensure comfortable to drive. All took just over three hours. Would certainly recommend

The car we looked at had chunks of paint missing around the door frame, was scratched etc, this was a 3 year old car, pics mad it look like it was in great condition which it wasn’t. Complete waste of our time. These things should have been repaired prior to viewing.

The whole experience buying a car at Big Motoring World went very smoothly from when we walked in till I took my car home, from Syed right through to Tom the service was excellent they went above and beyond, and Tom even took me to the post office to do my tax, which was the best service ever.

Excellent service from start to finish, after reserving a car loan it was a simple process to go along check the car over and take it for a drive. Arranging the finance was smooth and everything was clearly explained with a figure tailored to my budget. Thanks to Jack, Charles and Tom for making it a very good experience.

Have to say this was the worst 3 hours of my life. Syed was extremely forceful without correct knowledge of the products. I was mansplained on why McDonald's uses paper straws and then expected to complete the finance on a different car before e getting a monthly figure for the car. I went in to buy a car and walked out /escaped. Syed wouldn't let us leave without an explanation as to why we wouldn't buy the car. They also held my car keys hostage which made it extremely difficult to leave. I'll never go in any big motoring world ever again

Very pleased with the service we received purchasing a new car. The selection to choose from is huge and pricing of there cars is very good. We traded two cars in and drove our new car away the same day it also had another final clean inside and out. Would like to give a special mention to Holly and Aaliyah who helped us through the process it was much appreciated.
Thank you Big Motoring World!

All staff were polite but the buying process is extremely slow with lots of add ons being offered that I didn’t want. Arrived at 11.00am and left with the new car at 05.00pm! The car wasn’t prepared well. Tyre pressures were incorrect meaning the light was on as noted on the test drive but not corrected during prep. The car not particularly clean. Only just enough charge to get home. It is however a nice car and the price was ok.

Staff were friendly and professional and answered any questions that I had. I did find that once car was purchased and paid for in cash, the service seemed a bit lacking. The car itself is very good but needed new wiper blades which I had to mention on the test drive, also after getting the vehicle home and familiarising myself with everything I found that the glove compartment had a lot of biscuit crumbs in, also the complementary case of cleaning equipment was missing it is this lack of detail that will let you down in the future. I returned in the vehicle to have wipers replaced and to pick up the missing items so all ok at present.

A bit disappointed with the Big motoring world this time around. My overall experience was totally different to what I had the first time.
I paid to transfer the vehicle to Norwich which worked well and it was waiting for me when I got there. However, the vehicle had 0 miles of fuel in the car, I expressed my concerns to the salesman however he assured me we had enough fuel for a test drive??
We made it back from a short test drive because I believe he was worried about the fuel as well.
I agreed to have the vehicle on the basis my part exchange was at a good price.
The salesman didn't really know the company policy of a reduced admin fee if you purchase another vehicle within 12 months. I had to find it on BIGMW website for him.
Once a deal was agreed, I collected my car but stressed to the handover and salesman that I'm not taking the vehicle on 0 miles of fuel.
They said they put 5 litres in for me!! This didn't lift the needle past 0 miles.
The vehicle was not washed at all, also, still had chalk marks on the bodywork during their prep process. I think you only get a wash if you purchase the Gardx protection.
During the test drive I noticed the radio stations were not working but didn't think anything of it.( thought it just needed a re-tune) Got the vehicle home I realised there is a problem. Sent a claim on my warranty app but haven't heard anything since.
Overall, the vehicle is in good condition. However the small details have been lacking for the overall customer experience to be improved.

Just allow yourself a lot of time to buy your new car. Long winded sales process wanting you to buy all the add ons. All staff very pleasant
