My Nissan leaf was reasonably priced compared to similar cars of the same grade from other dealers. Speacial thanks to Stacey for helping sort out my warranty subscription.

I am not pleased with the service received from Big Motoring World. They sold me a car that I am not happy with. I did not know this until i drove away. Tried returning it two days later but not able to. They tried to sell you so many unnecessary things that the things that you wanted in the car were not included. A major disappointment. Not doing business with them again. I am now stuck with a substandard car.

Poor Service and Disappointing Aftercare
I’m a returning customer and have previously recommended several friends who also bought their cars from Big Motoring World. Unfortunately, this experience has been very disappointing. Issues were reported straight after purchase, but the aftercare and support have not been helpful. The level of service I received this time does not match what I expected, especially after bringing repeat business to them. I wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

From the initial greeting to the professional advice given by Mo and then the lovely coffee and milkshake made by the staff onto the finance and handover team was a really good experience!!

I have a great experience with Big Motoring World. I have found a car I wanted on the Autotrader. From there I went to the company website where I booked an appointment for viewing. On the same day I putted down the deposit. Lewis was very helpful. Overall I have a very good experience and I can recommend it to anyone.

Easy process for part exchange and purchase to complete same day. Good selection of vehicles and smooth transaction. Refreshing to be able to buy a car this way. Convenient appointments/opening times. Great experience all round. Delroy is a super nice guy and very patient -made the whole process stress free.

Such a shame the shambolic finance team seem to put a huge dampener on the whole process and decent people working here.
Be warned took me almost 5 hours to buy a car. Started well, reception and sales guy excellent.
Things went massively downhill with the horrendous finance department and how to get a deal done. For some reason, they think they are above everyone else and treat you like dirt until they have your money. Figures on the paperwork do match the deposit payment required by you. Unable to pay anything by credit card wtf.
Everything was done to get their special offers on deliberately and the actual car value and deposits not explained. I had an anxiety attack, and the finance guy said to my face, " Can you calm down? I can't deal with you like this. About the worst thing you could say to someone struggling with their mental health and has been triggered.
You sign your life away about 50 times.
Luckily the handover department was excellent 👌 but I wont be returning or recommending anyone to buy a car from here. Shame one or two people let the whole process and team down.
I love my new car, but the stress the finance process took was just too much. Company has apologised but processes need to be much simpler and Training given to staff.
So i brought a car which the who helped was very nice and polite and super helpful. Unfortunately I had to change that car as I wasn't happy with it. And I saw the same guy who again was very helpful and nice and polite and nothing was to much for him. Also all the finance were lovely and very helpful and again nothing was to much for them

Unfortunately I am unable to recommend buying a car from this company (Peterborough) To say I had a bad experience is an understatement. The sales part of the journey was excellent to start with, Sales Exec Kacper helpful and polite but that’s where it ends. Called 2 days after our visit to pay a deposit on vehicle. I had no further communication other than a text and a link to ask me to forward the payment. No follow up from Kacper which was disappointing. I made my own arrangements to collect (no phone call). Day of collection started smoothly but wasn’t asked at the time of sales agreement if I wanted Gardx applied. Assured that it wouldn’t be a ‘rush job’ and paid for it. Went outside later to find the once immaculate bodywork on the car damaged!! The team responsible for valeting had indeed rushed it and caused the damage to the vehicle. The man who arranged the handover was Denis and when we reported the damage had to leave the car in order for it to be repaired. I was without transport and not amused. I had several photos of the car before purchase and it was immaculate. There on it was a catalogue of disasters, no calls, updates but continual chasing and made to feel a nuisance for asking. A few days later told (after many phone calls) car would be ready for collection. Half way on our 60 min journey received a phone call telling us to go home as car not ready. Promise of a call from a manager did NOT happen. Day 5 called again and Denis wasn’t available albeit when he was able to speak to me was less than helpful and didn’t give me the reassurance I needed. The only helpful lady on reception was Zee who promised to follow it through (well done Zee, by far the best employee there ) So far no apologies and disgusting customer service (if any). I did arrive on time to collect my vehicle and saw a manager (Julian) who did apologise but it certainly doesn’t make up for the stress and bad feeling that I had. For any prospective buyers my advice is don’t bother you will get more respect elsewhere.
Most of the experience was very good, from the sale person (Jake - was fantastic) and the finance application. Unfortunately all that good work was undone by the lack of a handover. It was close to closing time and we were hurried out the door without any handover of the car. This is despite being in the dealership sitting and waiting for the handover for more than 2 hours. Overall we were in the dealership from 13h30 to after 18h00!This is despite saying throughout the day that this was my first electric car and I needed to understand how to use my car. I drove out the dealership not knowing how to charge the car, link my phone, appleplay, satnav, AC and was never told there was an app. Then when I worked out by myself with the help of Chatgpt what to do I couldnt link my car as the previous owner is still linked and this is still the case today! I am so disappointed as this lack of care has really soured the whole experience I had a BMW in Peterborough. To top it off I replied to a internal customer service mail with my experience (good & bad) and not had a reply. My son is looking for a car and I would like to recommend but have not.

went to the peterbourlgh site and was greeted by reception and told to take a seat only waited 5 minutes for salesman shian Akash to arrive and introduce himself and get us a coffee.we picked the car took it for a test drive and bought it.shian was very pleasant and polite throughout and we appreciated that.also the manager dropped by to say hello and again a nice guy.we then went to handover and was greeted by Nathan who explained everything to us.the spare key was missing and Nathan wouldn't let us leave until he tracked it down which he did in the end, he really was a nice helpful friendly man.the whole process of arriving and leaving with the car only took 2 and a half hours and that included them valeting the car.first time ever using bmw and I was impressed with how they handled everything and we left with a lovely immaculate car at a competitive price.

Customer service at the purchase stage was really great.
When it came to pick up the service felt rushed and impersonal.
Unfortunately, the state of the interior of the car was dreadful- sweet wrappers, stains, spillages that weren't adequately cleaned. Really took the shine off collecting a new car and rounded off my experience in a negative way.

Drove car home from Big Peterborough to London with worn windscreen wipers in the rain and a slow puncture.
These issues should have been picked up on the 200 point check, whatever the 200 point check is.

We looked online and found the car we wanted to buy so we went to store, was asked to take a seat and was left for 30minutes before anyone saw us people who came in after us got seen first, the car was then pulled round so we could look at the car told the sales person would be back in 5 minutes we viewed to car and went and sat down another 30 minutes the sales advisor came back and took us to another sales person said someone would be out in a few minutes again we waited and waited finally someone came out filled out the paperwork and then was left again for another 30 minutes
We set a date to collect the car, got a phone call and hour before we was due to collect to advise that we could not collect the car as the EV charger wasn't working and they only had one EV charger
Finally collected the car, arrived and again was left waiting for 20 minutes before being seen signed more paperwork and then was left again for 20minutes was then taken upstairs to finish the paperwork and tax and told we had to go to the post office to sort the tax out
Overall very disappointed in the service we received, we love the car but the service needs fixing
Upon arrival to view a Tesla, I was greeted by a young salesman who, from the outset, demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge about the vehicle. I asked a number of basic and reasonable questions that any competent car salesperson—especially one selling electric vehicles—should be able to answer. These included:
Battery size
Battery health
Whether the vehicle had been inspected by Tesla and what work had been carried out
Remaining tyre tread
Estimated range
Tyre size
Cost of replacement tyres
Top speed
0–60 time
None of these questions were answered. Instead, I was met with shrugs, “I don’t know,” and increasingly rude behaviour. The salesman repeatedly talked over me and became dismissive, which was both frustrating and unprofessional. This behaviour continued throughout my time in the dealership.
Despite not being able to answer even basic questions, the salesman attempted to aggressively upsell protection products, again without being able to clearly explain what was included. This felt pushy and unacceptable.
When my current car was valued, the offer came back nearly £4,000 lower than competitors. I was told I would “never” sell the car for more elsewhere—an unnecessary and rude comment. I have since sold the vehicle for £5,000 more than your offer, which speaks volumes about the accuracy of your valuation.
During discussions around warranty, the salesman argued with me about coverage details that were clearly contradicted by the leaflet he himself had provided. I should not have to argue with a salesperson to clarify basic warranty terms—particularly when they are unable to provide accurate information.
After a significant delay, I was passed to a finance representative who was again rude and repeatedly talked over me while I tried to ask questions. This is not the experience anyone expects when making a major purchase.
In total, I spent nearly four hours in the dealership on this initial visit, waiting for responses regarding finance and basic queries. Had I found the same specification vehicle elsewhere, I would have walked away.
On the agreed collection day, I arrived on time and was left waiting for 40 minutes before being seen. Appointment times appear to be meaningless. While the finance representative I dealt with on this occasion was polite and helpful, the process was painfully slow due to management unavailability. I was then asked to wait upstairs for over 30 minutes, followed by another extended wait before vehicle handover. The staff member responsible for handing over the car was also rude and dismissive when I asked questions.
By the time I was finally able to leave with the vehicle, I had spent over two hours in the dealership that day alone.
Overall, my customer experience was worse than terrible. The repeated rudeness, lack of knowledge, excessive waiting, and general disorganisation were unacceptable. I will not be using Big Motoring World again, which is disappointing given the range of vehicles available—I would have otherwise considered returning with family members for future purchases.
I remain extremely frustrated by this experience, particularly knowing commission was earned on my finance agreement despite the level of service received.

Too many ‘hand offs’ between staff. Car was cleaned before leaving but not a proper showroom clean inside and out. Quality control needed. Documentation issues emerged at the end of the process causing me to visit a local post office to complete DVLA payment.
This is the most annoying issue; They don’t give advance valuations. This is a pressure tactic on the day of purchase to get you to accept a lower valuation. Hardly any negotiation whatsoever. Take it or leave it, although the staff were great this issue is directed at the high level policy makers.
Sat in reception being ignored for over 25 mins. Waste of time.
