Went into Blacks Shrewsbury today to look for a new pair of walking shoes for upcoming holiday. Lee very quickly ascertained what I was looking for in terms of a waterproof/Gortex shoe and helped me with sizing/fit. He was very knowledgeable about the different widths between brands as well as function over fashion! The fact that BlueLight gave a further 15% discount was a bonus and secured the purchase.

Great service for buying walking boots
I have real difficulty finding walking boots that fit me: Charlotte in the Shrewsbury store was very helpful and knowledgeable- and patient. It was great to eventually find a pair that were comfortable, and useful to be told that I could try them in the house for a few days to make sure that were right for me, which I have done. Would definitely come here again.
