BlissCars was an awesome experience
I travelled to reading for 10 days for a training. I stayed at a resort and commissioned BlissCars to pick me up every morning to take me to my location for the training. BlissCars was always available to pick my up on time and drop me off right after the training. It was a very personable experience. When I needed to venture out to the stores they advised where to go and what to avoid. I would recommend them again and again. Thank you BlissCars for your memorable service.

One can only speak as one finds. But having read the somewhat variable reviews, I thought we'd go for it nevertheless. And how good it was for the 2 journeys we took...on 12th Feb 2025 from Reading Station to Heathrow with Aftab Qureshi and then today, 23rd Feb from Heathrow to Reading Station with Aftab Alik.
Despite our train being late of the 12th and our flight being early today, both drivers were spot-on and delightful.
I never ever recommend in my life...I just say what works for me...and it most certainly did on both these occasions. If you use them I hope it will for you too. A truly good experience. And how pleasing to be able to review as such.

Recommended cab company
I use Bliss Cars for local runs and airport drop offs and pickups. I’ve never had a bad experience with them, and particularly like the app for bookings and tracking my ride. Recently I won a free Valentine’s Day ride which was a lovely surprise.

I used Bliss cars 247 this evening and the taxi driver asked for bank transfer as he's card payment wasn't working. I was shocked to hear that so I phoned Bliss Cars 247 and when I asked them what payment options they have, they said : link payment ( through email) card and cash. When challenged about the bank transfer option they said " well, sometimes that's what can be paid if the card machine doesn't work, but don't worry nothing will happen). They passed me on to someone else who said to be the more senior person ( I didn't asked that) who said the same thing..legally payment options are card, cash and link payment but sometimes taxi drivers ask for bank transfer. Shocking!
Will call back tomorrow to speak to a manager as I want to log jn a complaint. This is not a safe practice and definitely should stop.

We would like to reassure you that our accepted payment methods are indeed cash, card, or prepayment via our website or over the phone with our operators. Additionally, we do send payment links via email; however, we require that these transactions be completed before the journey ends.
It appears that there was a miscommunication on the part of the driver. While his intention was to avoid any hassle for you and complete the transaction smoothly, his suggestion of a bank transfer was incorrect. Unfortunately, he is fairly new to our team, and despite receiving full training, he became confused and mistakenly offered an option outside our standard procedures.
We want to clarify that, as you chose to pay by cash, no personal details were exchanged, so there is absolutely no risk to your bank account. We are committed to ensuring all our customers feel safe and comfortable when using our service.
Your feedback has already been passed along to our manager, and a member of our management team will be in touch with you soon to address the matter further.
Once again, we apologize for any confusion this caused and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our communication and services.

1830hrs Saturday evening, Tilehurst to Pangbourne, 2.6 miles. And the fare? EIGHTEEN QUID!! I phoned Bliss to query it and was told is was correct. I cancelled the booked return journey and re-booked with a different taxi firm. Their fare was £12. Bye bye, Bliss!
I have seen the reply by Bliss. Readers may judge where the truth lies. I accepted an offer of £6 reparation, stipulating that it should be given to the nearest RBL poppy seller.

Regretfully, we would like to inform you that the price has not matched your expectation however at Blisscars247 we have a 100% price transparency policy. At the time of making the booking our controller did mention the fare will be £18 to which no question was raised by yourself. We are based in Reading town centre and have outbound charges applied to any ride which is outside from the 3 mile radius from our base. On the day of the journey when you called to speak about the fare our controller on shift has mentioned the charges which were applied (outbound charges). Receiving your feedback a member of management has also called to rectify the experience, and as a good gesture offer a one time price match to which you refused. Blisscars247 is a company driven by customer satisfaction; we take each feedback very seriously and work towards further improvement. We value each customer and their opinion.

This is the 2nd time in a short space they've messed me up. The first time I booked..sat waiting only for them to call back the say they can't make the time.
Same thing again now...booked for one time they called and asked if they could come another time.
I agreed because by then I couldn't get anyone else and the rain was pouring.
They STILL came late- didn't know the correct road to my location....literally was TWO minutes to my location and decided to go another road.....THEN I had to get off because the road was blocked and walk TEN minutes making me late....very late ..all the while they had my money almost from the minute I got in the car.
I will NEVER EVER use this business again.

We regret the error in providing a minivan instead of the executive saloon car you expected for your airport transfer. Our airport runs are typically prioritized, and initially, a Mercedes was assigned for your journey. Unfortunately, due to a breakdown, all the other cars were already scheduled. Therefore, our immediate priority was ensuring you reached the airport punctually, leading us to provide the available van.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Should you choose to book a return journey with us, we would like to offer you our premium 7 series BMW at the same cost as compensation for this oversight.
