Had a cat flap put through a French door. Not only was this the cheapest quote I had but everything was seamless . Done quickly , glass made quickly, kept up to date with appointments by text with Sophie . All very good from start to finish and very reliable. Would recommend. Thanks

Sophie and the team did an amazing job fitting a cat flap in our house.

We have folding doors with interior blinds built in and so couldn't get a cat flap installed in the doors themselves.

We called loads of companies who told us that we needed to replace the entire glass and they wouldn't consider going through the wall next to the door.

We found Blue Star Developments and they were so helpful.

Sophie and her engineers had no problem installing it through the wall.

They arrived promptly, were polite and friendly and had the job done in an hour and cleaned up after themselves.

The cat flap looks great and really solved a problem for us in our new home.

Really recommend them.

I have 2 velux windows in a 17 degree pitch tiled roof, fitted 23 years ago
They started leaking a couple of years ago when we had heavy blowing rain
After much research I chose Bluestar because of their positive reviews
I rang lovely Sophie she asked me to send photos via WhatsApp and they diagnosed the issue and arranged an appointment a week later
Nathan and his co worker arrived on time, took the windows out and showed us how moss had grown under the seals (the seals were perished)
Regular maintenance is the key with these windows to prevent problems. I wish I had know that!
An hour later the windows were cleaned, re sealed and back in situ with a 1 year guarantee
Nathan has a wealth of experience and will give you an honest assessment he is the man to go to if you have a velux problem

I had 2 new Velux rooflights fitted in my kitchen.
They arrived promptly on the date arranged and did an excellent job fitting the rooflights. They were clean and tidy leaving no mess at all.I would not hesitate in recommending them.

What wonderful folks they are from initial phone call to repair, excellent service knew exactly what they were doing, job faultless and everything clean when they left… have absolutely no issue recommending them

Sophie and the team did an excellent job removing and installing a velux window in the roof. Quote was easy and proffesional. They where extremely knowledgeable, and came in at a fair price. They where selected based on how they came accross, the good level of communication and explanation of what was required, techncial knowledge and there trust pilot score. Which I'm keen to add too as its well deserved for a job well done.

The guys came out bang on time and fitted the flap brilliantly, with an efficiency I haven't experienced before with this type of job. They cleaned up after too.

One of the best repair service appointments we have experienced over the last few years ! Not easy these days ! Sophie co- ordinated everything from their office base flawlessly, asked for fotos / ID‘d the type of window and arranged for a swift visit. Impeccable communication all the way. When the lads did come, they were on time, called us 20 mins before arrival to say they were on the way.

Changed two failed velux units. Found out one frame was rotten and sourced a replacement from another job in weeks saving us loads of money. Will use again in future for any velux issues.

I contacted a few companies regarding fitting a dog flap. This was the only company that was quick to respond, provided a quote and contacted me regarding a slot to book in. Sophie's customer service was great and she followed up to book when I was unable to do a certain day that they were available.
The team arrived on a Saturday!! (I work so this availability was great), they were quick and efficient and were willing to stay to help me and talk through how the flap worked.
What a great company - I would definitely recommend and use again if needed.

I needed a repair on a Velux window. Sophie at Blue Star gave me a quote which I accepted with a deposit agreed. The repair was carried out when the part arrived and the Velux repair fitting team did a quick and efficient job. Don’t hesitate to use them. They are genuinely efficient, helpful and excellent value considering they had to travel 2 hours to my house.

We moved house and the velux windows had been neglected. After installing new glass, resealing and servicing velux now look as good as new. Nathan the engineer was really knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Sophie was so efficient from the start and very friendly and reassuring. She kept me up to date with proposed dates for the engineer to call and when Nathan and Jack called - on time - they were superb as well.
The whole experience by today's standards was almost too good to be true. Great team, well done.

I honestly can’t recommend the business highly enough. They responded promptly to my initial email query, Sophie was so efficient and helpful and booked me in within a week. I was kept informed throughout, the fitters arrived within the promised window, were courteous and extremely efficient and my cracked Velux pane was replaced well within the promised one hour timeframe. So very happy with every aspect of their service, thank you to all.

The whole team is excellent with very speedy responses and arrangement ! Sophia is very polite and patient with answering questions and Nathan the team comes punctual and explains very clearly what wrong with my velux window and what can be done. The cost is very reasonable. 100% recommended !

Was slightly hesitant to place order as quote seemed really inexpensive. How wrong can you be.
Nathan visited to survey for replacement velux window and explained everything clearly including it could be completed from inside, as we have good access to the loft, so we didn't need outside scaffolding. Hence inexpensive quote.
Communication with Sophie was excellent and Nathan and colleague turned up exactly on time to complete the replacement.
Very courteous, friendly and professional and removed all waste once job complete.
Would highly recommend.
