I am also trying to get my book :An AGI Brain for a Robot" read and discussed but Elsevier have priced it much too high. Got them to drop it from US$150 to US$50 and if I am lucky it will soon be US$30. I have tried to get them to reduce it to US$20!!!

sometimes I wonder how they work out cheaper deals than amazon - they all belong to the same company. no tracking but the stuff usually arrives on the advised date or the day after.

one time they canceled a book I really wanted, didn't help me find the one lost but it was just that one time so I guess it's okay. There's got to be a trade-off from getting the books cheaper, I guess.

I have never had a bad experience with Book Depositors. I have ordered many books over the years ... only one book did not arrive. When I made BD aware of this, they sent out another copy without question. As I don't live in the UK, I do have to wait a bit longer for delivery than if I did live in the country. However, as delivery dates are announced, I am always aware of how long the wait will be - so this is not a problem at all

The worst experience ever , I placed an order 3 times and it has been cancelled every single time , despite numerous emails and replies from Customer Service stating that they have the book in stock and that should not be a problem

No issue with booking system, payment or delivery.
All went smoothly and the book arrived earlier than expected.
The book itself is a great read apart from the text which is tiny. Had to buy myself some magnifying reading glasses to read in the evenings. Would not recommend for older readers with failing eyes like mine.
