An excellent consultation with the audiologist in a very relaxed atmosphere. She explained everything very clearly and welcomed questions, and I left feeling very confident with my new hearing aids. I feel if I should have any problems she would deal with them very efficiently and sympathetically.

The audiologist, Natalie was brilliant during both my appointments. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, explained everything in great detail. Natalie was also helpful in my selecting the hearing aids I purchased.

Very professional service. They were very thorough. Also tried really hard to put me at ease as I was anxious about needing hearing aids. They went over and above to get them and fit them. Even the call centre were super professional. I can’t praise them enough and I’m pleased I went along as I can now hear so much better.

Boots hearing care have been fantastic with supporting my Nan! I have been struggling at times to differentiate between what she can comprehend and what she can’t hear, Natalie at Llandudno boots has been an absolute star!! She knows the full ins and outs and my Nan has got amazing hearing aids now which help her so much and have helped me identify where there are problems. She has been amazing and compassionate towards my Nan and very trustworthy. She’s getting regular hearing support aswell which my Nan did not get with the NHS and these hearingaids are fitted to her ears rather than than NHS ones which are a general fit. Thank you so much!

6 months ago I gave one of my Phonak hearing aids to my local Boots because a 2 millimetre piece of plastic used for pulling it out of my ear had come unstuck. There was no mention of any charge being made to fix it but yesterday a bill arrived from Boots in Llandudno for £99. It did not specify the problem - merely referred to it as a ‘repair’. There’s something wrong here.

I have attended Boots Hearingcare in the stand alone clinic for 6 years. Natalie has always provided an excellent and professional service.

Today I attempted to make a review appointment and as I have considerable problems using the phone attended their new in store location.
There was no reception area or receptionist just an iPad attached to the wall outside the audiology rooms. I attempted to follow the onscreen instructions but had great difficulty. A very elderly gentleman was also unable to use the iPad and was at a loss as to what to do.

A significant proportion of Boots Hearing aid customers are likely to be elderly and have difficulty going online and because of their deafness using the telephone.

By getting rid of the Reception Team who had excellent communication skills, I feel Boots is guilty of Disability Discrimination against Deaf Customers.

Please would they look at this appalling situation again
