The best property manager!
We let a flat in Musselburgh for the past 3 years. We consistently received excellent service from our agent and specifically our property manager Rachel V. from Braemore. She was consistently helpful, provided excellent service, and was always willing to go above and beyond to help us as tenants. I would highly recommend Braemore, based on our interactions with Rachel, she is fantastic!

A bunch of crooks
They managed to extort an illegal fee from me for ending my tenancy by threatening to not let the flat the year after to my friends. Just crooks.
Now they're attempting to continue charging me rent after I've left, probably hoping I'm too meek to question them and will just hand over the money

Got in touch with Braemore whilst …
Got in touch with Braemore whilst trying to track down documentation of a previous tenancy (about a decade ago) with an agency Braemore have since merged with. A tricky task to begin with, as the records in question were older and the systems hadn't yet been integrated going that far back.
After a bit of a false start, I managed to get in touch with Ms Susan Conway, Lease Administrator, who took what had up to that point been a frustrating experience and just got things done. The records were found, the documentation provided, and small issues that came up were dealt with straight away without too much hassle.
So, whilst I cannot attest to Braemore as a whole, I can confidently say that they definitely have some very helpful and professional people working in the team that make the experience all that much better.

The Two Pauls at Braemore Are Helpful Professional and Friendly.
While I was on the phone to Paul Forsyth asking for a new vacuum cleaner, he was already on the computer ordering one from Argos.It then arrived within a few hours.He was very helpful,professional and friendly.
Also this year Paul Vass did our interim inspection.He treated our home with respect and he was also friendly,helpful,professional (not cold,robotic and condescending as some ex members of staff have been in the past).He made what can be a painful process a pleasant one instead.

My property agent was Michael Morton for 3 years while I rented a property with Braemore. Michael has always been incredibly dedicated to ensuring I was getting the best service possible. There were (and still are) many issues with the flat I am vacating, but he always did his utmost best to get things solved and the fact that problems are persisting certainly is through no fault of his own, or lack of trying to sort them out. Always polite, open, friendly and available, I hope Braemore realise how lucky they are to have him - seeing some of the reviews here for Braemore, I would not hesitate to say that Michael Morton saves the day!

If I could give a 0 rating I would
Very rude, incompetent staff. Do not ask prospective tenants of their circumstances before arranging a viewing and then after travelling 500miles round trip, tell you that your guarantor cannot be someone who has over £600k savings, plus several properties owned outright. Your preferred guarantor would have an income. How ridiculous is that? They didn't bother to ask if I would pay 6 months rent upfront, which I would if the property and company are up to spec, but sadly they are not.
Avoid at all costs.

Do not us these cowboys. I don't care if you have to sleep homeless for a week would be a better experience then dealing with this lot. Was looking for my deposit back. I left the house in good order. Deposit was £895. I guessing there might have been a few cleaning fees with all agencies, maybe £200. Just got word they are charging me £836.70. The house was very dirty when I moved in. All the items listed below were not cleaned. They also charged me for a shower curtain that I bought and wasn't even in the house before I moved in. If you give your deposit to this lot just say goodbye because its unlikely you will ever see it again. The walls in one room were covered in mold. I emailed them a number of times to get painter in. I ended up paying for it myself £100. One room had a sofa bed in it covered in mold. I paid the council to remove it and bought a new bed and wardrobe. Cost me £250. People like Braemore make me sick. DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. You will regret it!!!!!!!!
