We were so happy with the selection

We were so happy with the selection, customer service and speedy delivery of all the chocolates ordered. Everything arrived quickly (3 days from UK to US) and being that is it is summer now, apart from the chocolate buttons which a few of them stuck together, none of the other chocolates were affected. Even the flake which is delicate arrived in perfect shape. Thank you so much British Snacks, we look forward to ordering again from you.

Lack of tracking on international delivery...shambles

Ordered a selection of snacks 9th July. Email confirming order and website says you can track your order. After 7 days still no link to track order from UK to UAE. I send a message asking for tracking details, only to be told the packages are sent abroad without the capability to track the orders location. 12 days now and still no sign of the package and no idea where it is. Other items ordered from UK after 9th July from other companies have arrived. If you are going to send stuff internationally it should be tracked.

Update...after reviewing the situation British Snack Shop have been totally amazing. Firstly with a refund as the package did not arrive but also reviewing their procedures and making the right changes to help people in my situation. It is not often that companies react so swiftly and positively to these types of comments. A* rating for customer service.

At the time that this order was made, we had limited shipping options and one of the cheapest options was with Royal Mail, which is an untracked service (International Standard). We have since reviewed our site and agree that it was not clear enough that this service is not tracked, although the website will have offered more expensive shipping options, we can see that the low cost and presumed tracking would have made this the attractive choice.

We have now changed the website so that it is clear that this is an untracked service so that customers can choose the most suitable shipping for them, as well as working to offer more competitive rates for the tracked services with different couriers.

We don't want any of our customers to be left feeling disappointed so our aim is always to be as clear as possible, and rectify mistakes as they come about, so that nobody else has to have this same poor experience.

We hope the action we have taken will reassure you that we aim to provide the best possible customer service, even if things don't always go right.

Great service very quick delivery

Great service very quick delivery, ordered as a surprise to a friend, you can even put a little card in with it if ordering as a gift. Thank you, will order again!

Shipping to Florida in a standard…

Shipping to Florida in a standard cardboard box (without any ice packs) does not work very well.
All chocolate items were completely melted to liquid.
Some crisps were crushed.

We do state on our website in the FAQs that we only ship in cardboard boxes and orders of chocolate are made at the customer's own risk. Since we received this feedback, we reviewed our website and found that this could be made clearer, so we have now added more comprehensive messaging across the site, and also make customers aware of this before they can continue to checkout.

As this was the first feedback of its kind since we started offering a faster shipping service we offered a refund for the inedible items for this customer. We also contacted customers waiting for their orders to make sure they were aware of the shipping conditions before we shipped their orders.

We welcome all customer feedback and will address all complaints/concerns as we receive them as quickly as possible, and try to put things right where we can.

Ordered two boxes now

Ordered two boxes now, both times they arrived in perfect condition and much quicker than I expected in the lockdown. Great range of snacks that reflect real snacks I grew up eating in the UK. Would definitely recommend!
