As other customers, I have been defrauded out of my voucher which Broadbandchoices promised to me as a condition of signing up with them, but has since not delivered despite pushing me to wait 120 days.
Having since contacted Trading Standards of my local council, they have advised that this likely constitutes a breach of trading standards, and that they will be investigating.
All customers on here are advised to contact their local Trading Standards office which can be found at the Trading Standards website to seek redress, or to contact Citizens Advice who can refer for them.

Disgusting service promised a voucher after signing up with virgin been well over 120 days emails multiple times i have all the info/pics needed just horrible i actually feel like i have been scammed and virgin wont do anything as its not them i want an answer!!
EDIT - after much wait and constant emails i finally got my giftcard after not giving up. Still only rating it 3 stars as i had to chase it up for over 2 months after the time frame before i got a reply thankyou.
Didn't get the voucher I was guaranteed when taking out broadband with virgin and no response even after chasing on multiple occasions

Guess what? I didn't receive my £85 Amazon voucher!
I usually always read reviews before making a purchase but never believed receiving a voucher as promised would be a big deal. It was and if I'd read about broadbandchoices beforehand I may have gone for another deal. Which makes it a scam.
Virgin Media gave me no WS numbers and it's been a pointless exercise trying to involve them. After 150 days of waiting they now expect me to wait another 20 days while they contact Virgin. It must be great to have so much time on your hands to do the simplest thing: hand over a voucher.
do not buy virgin broadband through this company or use any of their offers. I never received the £85 voucher they promised. contacted them through two of their customer support emails (vouchers at broadbandchoices.co.uk,
customer.services at broadbandchoices.co.uk) and never heard back. Avoid!!
I'd give this con of a company zero stars if i could, i signed up to virgin media last year due to an offer they had for a £95 amazon voucher with top speed broadband as my internet contract was just up i thought id give them a go and the voucher would come in handy for Christmas. After months of waiting i checked where my voucher would be with no reply and read it could take up to 100 days!! thought id wait still no voucher so i contacted them today only to be told i'm now not entitled to my voucher! absolute con! DO NOT TRUST!!!

Took out a new deal with virgin and should of received a £100 amazon voucher, had no response to any emails and virgin are unable to help, no contact number available for them, will be reporting to trading standards

Purchased Virgin M500 fibre in October last year. £100 amazon voucher promised as long as you follow instructions after 4months. Did that, chased about 12 times now and no voucher with again like many other people have said, Samantha being on the other end saying, "Oh dear I'll chase this for you." or, " if you would like to make a complaint that's fine I will pass this to our complaints department"
Report them to trading standards on
citizens advice.org.uk
If they get enough complaints they will get involved and contact them.
What I don't want is the generic, " oh I'm sorry but that doesn't sound like the service we strive to provide" reply on Trust pilot. If you start sending us our vouchers we won't post 1 star reviews...
UPDATE (03/05/23):
After notifying their complaints team that I had contacted trading standards and was looking at possible action against them, suddenly there was traction with them confirming my voucher was eligible that Virgin had now confirmed.
Took a further week and half with me emailing complaints team everyday asking for an update, and today I got the voucher.
Start date of taking out policy > 28/09/22
Voucher delivery date > 03/05/23
If I'm honest I was being a nuisance to them and I think they wanted rid of me. If I had not chased this stupid amount of times I don't think I would ever have received the voucher. Most petty thing ever chasing a company for a gift card.... Sort yourselves out or stop offering them, clearly too complicated to automate.
After signing a contract with Virgin Media on 12 OCT 2022, I did not receive an Amazon voucher after 120 days of waiting.
After contacting the support and getting a reply that "your matter escalated and you'll get your voucher within the next 20 working days" and another round of waiting for four weeks - nothing changed.
No voucher. No Reply. No Customer care.
Now I have no trust.
Avoid—save yourself time and money.
Like all other reviews, I signed up to a broadband offer with Shell for a £100 amazon voucher, way back in November, with the terms outlining this will be received after 90 days. The 90 days having elapsed, I contacted them to be informed that it is 120 days (even though I provided the email showing the 90 day terms), since then I have had constant back and forth of providing proof of purchase (the numerous same proof provided on several occasions), and advised ridiculous time scales (20 working days for a response) to which they do not adhere and do not reply. They can only be contacted by email, there are no details of a phone number provided, and through trying to search for what was there previous phone line, has now been turned off. They have absolutely no intention of paying out even though they will have received their commission from sale, as this will affect their bottom line profit in actually having to pay out to people who sign up to these offers. They are complete con artists and should be avoided by all.
Scam. Missold, misadvertising. Had an offer for £125 Amazon voucher if I take out community fibre broadband. Did exactly that, called to claim the voucher apparently it was £85 Amazon voucher. LIARS. Went back and forth with emails. I see why community fibre dropped them as I’m sure many people complained. Avoid this company complaints team can not resolve anything instead accuse you of lying, despite having screenshot of offer. I own many properties will never use this sham of a site ever again more recommend it to anyone. FAKE

Looking for a broadband provider? Whatever you do, steer clear of Broadband Choices. I had a horrible experience with them and I'm convinced they use shady tactics to trick people into signing up for broadband deals.
They work with companies like Gift Cloud and Money Supermarket to offer flashy deals, but it's all a smokescreen to mislead unsuspecting customers. I signed up with Virgin Media, enticed by the promise of a £100 Amazon voucher after 120 days. But it turned out to be a nightmare trying to actually receive it, and when I reached out to Broadband Choices for help, they were unresponsive and unhelpful.
Bottom line: if you're looking for a broadband provider, don't waste your time with Broadband Choices. They prioritize sales over honest customer service and will only leave you feeling scammed and frustrated.

Signed up for offer of £125 amazon voucher the beginning of Sept 2022, finally after almost a month of talking I was told I was eligible and would receive the voucher within 20 working days.
A voucher arrived today (16 days later) for £100, not the £125 that was advertised!
Signed upto Shell broadband in September with a promise of an Amazon voucher after 120 days but nothing. Contacted Shell who said I need to contact Broadband choices so sent an email but nothing other than a robot response. No phone number to chase this. I should have stayed with my previous supplier but I had the sales team from Shell phone at the start of this confirming the promise of this voucher and a discount if I continued with switching to their service.

Very poor service overall. In common with a great many other reviews, I signed up for Shell Energy in September, swayed by the promise of a Quidco credit(upheld), a Shell Energy bill credit(forthcoming), but as yet, no Amazon £125 voucher. By my reckoning, January 25th should have seen the voucher sent to my inbox. After several half-hearted responses from Broadband Choices, I am now no further on, and am seemingly at an impasse over it. There is no contact number, and the latest email suggests "We will be in touch after five days". It is fair to say I have lost confidence in the entire process, and just want a straight answer.
This is a scam. You won’t get an email and there is no way to contact them
Do not buy anything through them
*update*
They have replied to this review telling me to email the adress they have been ignoring me through

Same appalling experience with no voucher! Absolutely shocking customer service with very little regard for customers at all! I will also be escalating this matter to the relevant authorities

Oh dear! How I wish I had read all these reviews before I used broadbandchoices!
Like all the other reviewers, I too have never received my promised £100 giftcard after joining shell energy in August!!
Several emails but keep being told to wait 20 working days!
I will put in a complaint to ofcom and asa, as this is not the correct way to run a promotional campaign.
Suggest everyone does the same !
UPDATE... I contacted Ofcom, put in an official complaint to Shell, and an official complaint to Broadbandchoices.
Ofcom registered my complaint and gave me some direction going forward.
Shell said as I had used broadbandchoices I had to go back to them and they closed the complaint.
Broadbandchoices replied after 7 days, and sent a lengthy email explaining the process for claiming the voucher and why my voucher had not tracked. Broadbandchoices confirmed my claim has been validated by shell and they have said I will be sent my voucher, but they are unsure of the timescale. They also offered me £25 as a goodwill gesture for all the inconvenience, which is much appreciated.
I am relieved it has finally been resolved, although it has been quite time consuming and very frustrating.
So anyone in the same boat, make your complaint to broadbandchoices official, and hopefully they can resolve your issue too.
Samantha and Beth !Can you please answer on this ticket I’ve been waiting for you support ticket (#710957).
Samantha and Beth !
You told me to wait again 20 working days on 11 January 2022 after waiting over 120 days for this Amazon gift card £125 from Shell energy broadband and Nothing?
Was due £135 Amazon voucher at the start of the year. Never received, chased the company and provided all the details they requested. Was told they would come back to me in 20 working days. These have been and gone and the company is now not replying to any of my emails!! Shocking customer service!! Avoid at all costs!
