Still waiting for a promised voucher for taking out a particular Broadband contract - being given the runaround. Seems to be a scam I think...

Guess what. Same poor experience and service as everyone else below. You wait 120 days you get the promised voucher. They ask for loads of personal data and ask you to wait up to another 20 working days. And you still don’t get the voucher. Customer service is useless. Emails intermittently bounce back. Plenty of other and better options than this company. Do not use them: their business model is based upon hoping you get tired of chasing and give up. Instead I’m logging a formal complaint and hoping others read this before wasting time using this company…

Promised £95 voucher like most people here and have sent over ten emails to Samantha who has been very unhelpful .. she replied twice saying looking into but nothing since
Horrible experience
Unsolicited call from this company Broadbandchoices and they rang up on me when I asked them to take me off their list! Awful, I wouldnt deal with them in a million years, so unprofessional.

As many others stated, purchase a virgin media contract in July 2022 with a £95 Amazon gift card on offer. Contacted them beginning of this month as I still had not received the gift card. After numerous back and forths I was asked to give a WS number which is not provided in the email confirming my order.
Eventually I was advised by ‘Samantha’ that mommy gift card was sent in November 22 and will expire in February but they would resent the link. I advised I never received this and had also not received the new link in inbox of junk (note I had received the original email with the terms from the email address so I knew it wouldn’t go into junk).
I was asked to provide a new email for this which I did and then had another response to say that it definitely went to my original email, they did not try the new one provided. I’m still waiting from Monday for a reply with a link to my gift card.
Extremely poor company scamming people. AVOID
5 months have passed since I had signed an agreement with Community Fiber, more than 1,5 months have passed since my original query to broadbandchoices, and still no solution in sight..
I believe my query is rather straightforward and it could have been dealt with much sooner.

I would give in minus if that was possible. They promised me £100 voucher if I buy virgin media broadband last year. It is now more than 8 months. No replies for my emails and there is no where I can call them.

I took Virgin Media broadband contract via broadband choices on the 30.03.22. It stated that upon the purchase I would receive £100 Amazon voucher. I received the one and only email on the 30.03.22 from them thanking me for the purchase and I would receive my voucher after 120 days but in vain.
It’s almost 9 months now and yesterday I contacted the customer services via email and they reverted asking me to provide the details of the purchase. The agent (Samantha) after receiving the details from me replied that they’ve emailed the voucher but has now expired. I’m surprised and shocked to learn that from her. I haven’t received any such email from them.
After this first-hand experience of using broadbandchoices I’m now sceptical to refer them to anyone.
I felt that broadbandchoices is quite a reputed and reliable comparison tool and I did find it handy to get the right broadband provider. But I didn’t realise that I’ll fall prey to the £100 false marketing strategy!!! A classic example of hook, line, and sinker…
PS - Thank you for the reply. I initiated communication with the customer services and after few attempts the outcome stands that I’ve missed the opportunity to avail the voucher. I found the reason to be very unreasonable and unethical. How come your findings lead to the outcome that the email in question has been received by me. But the reality is that I haven’t received any email with the voucher. If your intention to offer the voucher is genuine then why as a goodwill gesture and ethical practice the company doesn’t send reminder emails to the costumer before the voucher goes unclaimed?

I signed up for Virgin M500 fibre broadband via the Broadband Choices website in February 2022, on the promise of a £100 Amazon voucher. I received an initial email from Giftcloud confirming that the voucher would be sent within 120 days but have received nothing further. When I chased Broadband Choices after several months, I was asked for the WS number, which I do not have. Surely, Broadband Choices must have a record of the original transaction. Like many others on this site, I have to conclude that this smacks of a scam. Please sort this out or I shall have to escalate the matter.

I purchased M100 Fibre in June this year. Was promised £100 Amazon voucher after 120 days. Like others here, I have emailed several times with no response and just submitted a complaint today. I've never come across such poor customer service in my life. I don't like to say if something is a scam or not but I understand why everyone is using that term

Brought a Virgin Media M100 broadband through this website. Was told that I would receive a £100 Amazon voucher which I still have not received and it's been over 90 days. On their terms and conditions it states it cannot be redeemed after 120 days so what is the point of waiting this long? I have emailed them now so let's see what happens.

Like most people here I was suppose to receive a voucher for signing up to virgin media but that never reached me. Upon complaining I was told that it was sent, but never was and now I ambeing told that it expired and there is nothing to do about it. Abysmal organization, borderline crooks.

Suddenly, after my initial review and a letter of complaint to them an email with an Amazon code - and it worked. Looks like the owner, who also controls MoneySupermarket and MSE, only releases from his personal fortune after a complaint.

I’m writing this because of all of the negative reviews and want to give people a little hope 😂. I signed up to virgin broadband a few months ago using the reward link for a £95 Amazon gift card. I heard nothing after the 120 days so I sent an email which bounced but the automatic response did include a correct email. I chased this up and they responded after a few days asking for my details. Once provided a gift card was emailed across straight away! Just a side note for some reason the gift card number doesn’t work on Amazon if copied and pasted. I wrote it out and my balance has now applied. It looks like you just need to give them a nudge to receive! 😀

Hi, dont normally write reviews, but hope this will help other people.
Signed up to Virgin Broadband via Broadband.choices with promise of £95 Amazon voucher after 120 days.
Nothing happened after 120 days, so I sent e mail to vouchers(at)broadbandchoices
this sent an automated reply with a website of faqs, which contained and address of customer.services(at)broadband.choices for contact. I sent a messaged this address, but it bounced. Resent e mail, this time to customer.service (no s) and got a reply asking for my Virgin ac number.
They said they would investigate and after about 15 days I have my voucher.
Pleased with the deal, frustrated I had to chase it.
Lies, deceit, deception, this company is a scam, why does Virgin media or any telecoms company allow this company to help sell its products. stay away.

This is a scam - signed up via moneysupermarket and was promised a £95 voucher for Virgin Media. Never came. Waited 120 days and now my emails are bouncing - DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM.

I have not received Virgin Media £95 Amazon Voucher as promised for the Virgin media sign-up on 29 July 2022.
I waited 137 days and received nothing. This morning I tried to contact 'broadbankchoices' at two different email addresses provided in the email and on their website, but both of my emails bounced back. Not a good sign. Next time, I will be once bitten twice shy, before believing such an advert while choosing broadband providers.
Update 23 Dec 2022: I also posted this comment on broadbandchoices' Facebook page. I received my £95 voucher on 22 Dec 2022. There I have updated my review to 4 stars now.
£100 amazon gift card is a scam. No replies from emails and now undeliverable. W*nkers.

Scam!
Signed up to Virgin Media just because of the offer for a £100 amazon voucher.
But the company hasn't sent it (160 days after) I tried to complain, but they just give automated excuses.
broadbandchoices.co.uk is a scam
