If I could give zero stars, I would. I took out an O2 contract in November 2024 through BroadbandChoices via MoneySuperMarket, lured in by the promise of a £150 gift card as part of the deal. It’s now July 2025, and I’m still empty-handed.
Let’s be clear—I met every single term and condition.
✔ Purchased via the correct link
✔ No conflicting offers or discounts
✔ Met the contract requirements
✔ Never cancelled
✔ Provided all proof and order details multiple times
And yet, eight months later, I’ve received nothing but copy-paste responses, vague timelines, and a complete lack of accountability from BroadbandChoices, O2, and Decision Technologies (who actually issue the rewards).
I’ve been told repeatedly that it could take "up to 6–8 weeks" just to investigate. For what? A basic cross-check between a name and an order reference? If that genuinely takes two months—or more—then it raises serious questions about how this company is operating or whether there’s ever any intent to actually fulfil these incentives.
What started as a good deal has become an exhausting, time-wasting wild goose chase. I've reported this to the FCA and will be escalating to the Advertising Standards Authority. Frankly, this whole experience feels like deliberate delay tactics, hoping customers give up.
If you're considering one of their “rewarded” offers—don’t. You’ll likely spend more time chasing a ghost voucher than enjoying your new phone.
No voucher received
I too am effected by the no show voucher scam - I signed up to Shell as the promised voucher made it a good deal. How stupid was I ! Very politley fobbed off each month . Appreciate Shell has morphed into talk talk but still cannot possibly take this long to sort.Definitly a sham company - note the positive reviewers have only one review......
Despite many promises of the promised voucher, nearly 8 months after the vouchers should have been delivered, repeated promises that the voucher will be there within ten days I am now told that there was a glitch and my voucher wasn't confirmed by Shell.
I will escalate to trading standards and Ofcom.
Quite honestly the worst company I have dealt with.
Plenty of horrible reviews here. My voucher was delayed and I didn’t receive this within the specified time frame. I was initially quite upset with this but emailed the team for their support. Their responses were prompt and to the point. I managed to receive my voucher in just over a month after emailing. The customer service was exemplary. Thank you Beth for your help.
I didn't get my Shell Energy voucher and customer service just said that they can't tell me if or when I will receive it! This has been ongoing now for 7 months.
UPDATE 4/12/24: Following continued chasing up I have now received my gift card for £105. If you are still waiting, keep chasing and don’t give up. This process shouldn’t be so painful for customers!
I have today emailed broadbandchoices.co.uk after not receiving my Amazon gift card. I have been contacting Giftcloud that hasn’t sent my voucher and I am ashamed to say this is the SECOND time this has happened to me, same wolf wearing a different sheep’s clothing!
I will involve Ofcom, trading standards and a legal route if this fails.
Please please take note of how many negative comments there are against these scammers! DONOT SIGN UP!
In my first experience involving Sky the costs were slightly higher but the giftcard taken into account swung my decision. The £105 M&S voucher was a brilliant help for a pensioner! This time I was enticed with the Shell Energy promotion. I wish I had read these reviews and not been stung again.
Broadband choices - I don’t know how you sleep at night!!!
I used broadbandchoices to swap my broadband provider to Shell energy with the promise of £105 giftcloud voucher as part of the deal. 5 months later still no such voucher has arrived and despite sending multiple emails showing my order details plus raising a formal complaint to broadbandchoices customer services they do not respond so next step is to refer to ombudsman
Voucher is months and months overdue, they have provided nothing except email responses with excuses and non-updates. Pretended not to have my information despite a confirmation email from them... just a whole lot of BS from customer services. If you want to waste your life chasing up their offers then go ahead and see for yourself but otherwise protect your sanity and don't be tempted by their fake incentives.
I should have read these reviews before proceeding! Took out a deal in April with Shell with the promise of a £70 voucher. Still received nothing and have emailed numerous times. I have received responses but I think they are hoping I forget as it’s still not resolved. Shell seem to have no idea about this when I asked them about it. I will definitely stick to a different provider next time.
I bought sim card contract with £50 Amazon voucher promotion in October 2023. I should receive promised voucher after 180 days. In June I asked to investigate why I didn’t receive it.
It is August and I still nothing. Customer service is replying appropriately in 2 weeks but not sorting anything.
I’ve raised a case with Trading Standards as they keep giving me the run around, and are failing to keep to my contract agreement of receiving a gift card, in partnership with giffgaff. They also don’t stick to their own timescales, and are highly irresponsible. It’s possible I’ve been communicating with several bots. Do not make any transactions if broadbandchoices.co.uk are in any way involved, and equally, giffgaff.
Pretty amazing this these scamners have direct links with moneysupermarket and MSE.
Don't trust any of these British sites.
I never got my voucher for signing up to three and they jsut wont answer my emails, keep directing me to useless FAQ page. Its been nearly a year. Obvs make their money by promising vouchers and not paying out.
Used this site to sign up to Shell Broadband because of the Amazon voucher which I did not receive after 120 days so went chasing for it and now they tell me I am not eligible due to signing up for the wrong package! Very misleading considering all the emails I had back mentioned how I was going to receive the voucher!
I signed up to a amazon gift voucher of £100 for successfully getting shell broadband. I was sent confirmation email that i was going to get that voucher after 120 days. It is well past that date now. I contacted customer service. No reply just redirected to the general FAQ.
Yeah same as lots on here, zero vouchers, zero feedback. What's the point I click the link in the email sent and yet no £110 voucher for signing up.

Well like everybody else it's about a voucher 110 pounds made me wait over 120 days and then I had to hassle them to issue it another 20 day wait and then, oh yes we do need to issue you a voucher another 10 day wait ... and then the day arrives my voucher comes instead of 110 its 60 quid and I get told its broad band choices and not giftcloud both company's are a joke and I will be steering clear of any company's that use them from now on.

I took out a contract with Shell Energy on 21/09/23, one incentive to use them was a free £110 Amazon voucher offer which would be sent after 120 days. As requested I included the sender address in my safe mail addresses. Needless to say I've not received the voucher, like many others have found, this is a scam, steer well clear.

I should have received a £70 Amazon gift card for signing up with Community Fibre through MoneySupermarket. After waiting months and emailing both broadbandchoices.co.uk and customer services at moneysupermarket.com I have still not received a voucher nor have I been given any reason why it has not been supplied. This is obviously the same experience of many people and as people are saying this appears to be a complete scam.

As it seems like the only way to get customer services to send the voucher you are entitled to is to write a review here, I am also calling out the non-reply from the customer services email address.
