just horrible
After waiting for 12 weeks to receive my voucher, it took them another 7 weeks to confirm that I am entitled for the voucher, and now I have to wait again to receive the voucher.
very slow on email was told i would have 80 pounds from talk talk after 90 days something going on why don`t talk talk do something, sorry to say not a good compandy to deal with
Either they're a scam company or they cannot pay out the vouchers as they have claimed to. I ordered talktalk in August 2021 and the terms and conditions specify in bold font that voucher will be sent 90 days after activation. I sent an email 8 December enquiring as I had not received this. The customer service only responded for the first time, after I sent several emails on 23 December 2021, only to say they sent it in September 2021 and the time to claim it has now passed, as I should have claimed it on 12th December.
The terms and conditions specifically state in bold that it will come 90 days after activation and in any event, I first contacted them on the 8th December, asking about the voucher and they never responded.
Going by the other reviews, I can see I am not the only one experiencing problems with them sending out vouchers and then messing you around.
Ordered my virgin broadband through the site on the 08.07.21... said in the email could be up to 120 days to receive the voucher, several emails later and no reply's what is happening broadbandchoices.co.uk?
Still not received my voucher.. Was in touch with customer services via email (req:70381) who took all information and evidence. Silence since, 10th December.
Looks like I'm not the only one. Whats going on?
False advertising - awaiting a amazon voucher. NO COMMUNICATION FROM THEM and NO VOUCHER
Just like the previous person, still waiting for my voucher. Have sent a number of emails that are being ignored. I have sent a separate email requesting their complaints procedure and have asked them to escalate a complaint from advice from Trading Standards. This email is also being ignored. I will be going back to Trading Standards to take this matter further.
Completed a purchase on the 20th July, said after 120 days you recieve your £50 Amazon voucher. Emailed on Nov 17th, 120 days after purchase date as I still haven't recieved my voucher, they said they would look into it and I would have an update within 20 working days. It is now 149 days since purchase and I still have no update and no response since my email two days ago.
Avoid using these at all costs! I signed up to Virgin Media broadband using broadband choices in July and well after the 120 day period I have still not received my voucher. I have sent them multiple emails and yet to receive a reply or an update to any of them and also have no luck when calling their offices (020 7400 6233).
If they are adamant on not engaging with or updating their customers, then they leave customer with no other option than to assume the voucher is a scam.
For me, this wasn't a scam, and my egift card was finally paid out today about a month 'late' after a fair amount of manual chasing; but that isn't to say there isn't improvement they could make to the process... all business parties involved could really take note.
My gift card offer (in this case from a TalkTalk broadband subscription) appeared to be directly from TalkTalk, albeit emails were actually sent via Gift Cloud. Until I *didn't* recieve my voucher the emails received were sent from giftcloud.com and a personalised webpage even counted down the days until I was eligble... then on the 'due date' the automated tracking failed and simply said to get in contact. It was at this point I was told Gift Cloud is only an intermediary to send vouchers out, and any actual issues with the offer need to be directed at the "suppliers" [Decision Technologies trading on broadbandchoices.co.uk] - it wasn't clear the gift card wasn't coming directly from TalkTalk until this point.
Initially I emailed vouchers*broadbandchoices.co.uk but believe this is automated and it is only customer-services*broadbandchoices.co.uk that will get you through to a human - read the email and FAQ carefully if you think you have contacted them and are awaiting a reply.
Once I got a ticket opened, Broadband Choices helped resolve the issue so I have no complaint with their customer services staff - although as part of the process I was told I needed a TalkTalk order number, something I am sure was never emailed to me directly, and so I had to separately raise a ticked with TalkTalk just to find out this code!
So - all in all I got what I was expecting, but the process was pretty painful and I still don't really know why Gift Cloud failed to send under the automated process given I had an active countdown link.
Also *if* it had worked as expected (and automatically emailed me the voucher after 90 days) I don't think I would have known broadbandchoices.co.uk were even involved, so I am unsuprised to not see lots of 5-star "I got my voucher really easily" reviews here?
This sort of thing should be regulated. It's clear they promise cash rewards and receive commission but are reluctant to hand over the cash. I've waited well over the stated period and have received nothing. They were responding until I had given them all the necessary info (order confirmations, bills etc) to process the claim and now they've gone quiet (coincidentally I'm sure). My advice would be to choose the cheapest deal and not rely on the lottery of firms like this paying out.
I am still yet to receive my promised Amazon voucher. I have been waiting over a month for it. Do not make promises you cannot keep.
All done by email, but good service and kept me informed weekly.
Signed a broadband contract with Virgin Media about six months ago and am still waiting for my £75 Gift Card. No answers to e-mail. Is this a fraud?
It looks like I am not first and not last one that is waiting for a voucher. it is ridiculous that you have to chase them to get what you paid for. If I knew they don't send voucher straight away after 90 days gone I would not purchase with them. It says after 90 days voucher will be sent into your email - nothing there. Now I sent few emails and yep... no reply at all.
[please note I have now received the voucher, five weeks after I gave up enquiring and wrote the review below. No explanation was provided]
I ordered a Vodafone contract through Broadband Choices, the offer included a £105 voucher to be sent after 120 days. However, I did not receive anything.
When I got in touch to enquire, I was directed to another company called Giftcloud. They eventually responded that they were not the provider of this offer. I subsequently received no more responses from either Giftcloud or Broadband Choices, despite my follow up requests.
£105 is a fair amount of money, and it certainly contributed to my choice of broadband provider. Now I feel I have been scammed into a long term contract with Vodafone.
I do not know what caused Broadband choices not to fulfil their part of the deal, and to ignore my queries. But considering the number of people reporting similar issues on this site, they appear to have a serious problem and get away with it.
I have reported my experience to Trading Standards.
I subscribed to to Virgin media for broadband
through this company who advertised a £75. Gift
Voucher if I signed up to Virgin for internet.
Contacted Virgin after 120 days first who sent me to Giftcloud, contacted Giftcloud who sent me to Broadband Choices who said I've to wait five working days just for a reply to my query! I feel I have been scammed. I want my promised voucher and not a penny less!
I signed up with taltalk broadband and phone on a 12 month contract through broadbandchoices.co.uk with the promise of an £80 voucher. This was back in April, and I still have not received my voucher after numerous emails. Terrible customer service
I subscribed to Community Fibre on 9th August and the deal offered £115 Amazon voucher within 100 days. It has been more now, so I emailed customer service (Your request 68851 has been received...) but they never replied to me, also there is no phone number to call.
Company is a scam
I was promised a £50 amazon voucher with Virgin M100 broadband, 120 days from the contract being taken out. It's now been 182 days and I've heard nothing. I can't get through to their customer service and emails are not replied too. Fake advertising - avoid.
