Hi am Y.O frome Bromley widmore road…
Hi am Y.O frome Bromley widmore road been in Bromley since 2015 worked at Bromley south station and worked in mark and Spencer and kind off people know me bit because am from Bromley they see me quite often do to work at the train station or at mark and Spencer any way I have never approche Bromley council for any thing never and I didn’t have no idea about it.

Renewed my garden waste collection £60.
Last year's missed a lot complained so they put me on assured collection list.
Guess what first collection driver refused to empty bin.
Said I am not on computer now they won't even a answer my emails would call them but suprise they don't answer phone calls.
Don't waste your money
Will be trying to get mine back.
Lazy, unresponsive and the worst council
Lazy, unresponsive and the worst council I have ever dealt with. Every time you call them, they redirect you to the website, which is, mind you, as poorly made as their service.
After going through all their exhausting automation services, you tend to be treated rudely and disgracefully. Instead of providing service, they provide redirection, losing touch with the community.
Don't believe me; look at their reviews here and on google.
And don't get me started on Bins...
I would never want to live in their borough again. And for those that run council, you should be ashamed of it. My advice is to rehire and retrain your staff and actually start being proactive. And hire someone one in community relations who actually cares...
Poor management!
Poor management of pot holes, missed rubbish collections, serious need of a rethink! What am i paying my council tax for...
Rubbish collection
The service is very poor, to say the least. They leave the bins open all the time, presumably they should close the lids after emptying. That is very unkind and unprofessional. I am so surpised and disappointed that Bromley Council allows such a poor service to continue
Historic listed buildings at Watermens…
Historic listed buildings at Watermens Sq SE20 in serious need of Bromley to take even a shred of responsibility for massive water leaking into not only the public park but also the residence of one listed home. Months of platitudes and denial of responsibility has left residents in despair. Faceless beaurocrats happy to bend truths whilst a near 200 year old once stunning site collapses. Shame on you all
Rubbish collection service is very poor
Rubbish collection service is very poor. Completed online form, and was emailed saying it had been collected, which was false.
Complained and told to wait 5 days, it’s now been another week and told to wait another 5 days.
Crew has must have changed, as they used to walk up the path and wake us up at 6.30am. Maybe some additional training might help them find the bin, the service in the last few months has been terrible with missed food and green bins not emptied.
As a wedding photographer
As a wedding photographer, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph a wedding at High Elms Country Park. The location is simply stunning, nestled on the ridge of the North Downs, just 15 miles from central London. The 250 acres of rolling countryside and 150-acre golf course that make up the High Elms Estate offer a beautiful backdrop for any special occasion.
The couple I photographed chose to exchange their vows in the lush woodlands, surrounded by the beauty of nature. We then made our way to the formal gardens for portraits, which provided the perfect mix of natural and formal elements. The ice well and wildflower meadows also offered some unique and memorable photo opportunities.
The on-site BEECHE (Bromley Environmental Education Centre at High Elms) was also a highlight of the day. This sustainable education and visitor center, complete with a café and two multi-functional rooms, added an extra touch of elegance and comfort to the day. It also made for a convenient meeting spot for the bridal party before the ceremony.
As a nature lover, I was thrilled to learn that High Elms is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Local Nature Reserve, supported by local environmental groups, Friends of High Elms, Natural England, and the Forestry Commission. The chalk meadows and woodlands are home to a variety of wildlife, including some species that are rare in London, making it a truly special place.
Finally, the presence of the Bromley Ranger Service only adds to the appeal of this incredible venue. The service operates from High Elms and works to maintain the beauty of the park and its surrounding areas, ensuring that it remains a prime location for years to come.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend High Elms Country Park as a wedding venue. The combination of its stunning natural beauty, elegant amenities, and responsible approach to conservation make it a truly unique and unforgettable location.
Kindest regards
The Kensington Photographer
Bromley Council tax refund
Requested a council tax refund using online service. Received an email confirmation of receipt from the council. 3 weeks later when I phoned I was advised no record exists. I emailed the council tax dept. as requested. 2 weeks later still no refund. Emailed CEO and got an immediate reply and apology. Refund arrived 3 days later in my bank account but still no communication from council tax department. Very poor service.
INDEED OF HELP URGENTLY PLEASE BROMLEY COUNCIL
Horrible communication and disabled service users are ignored. I've been encountering severe abuse from neighbours over a year now. Police etc have been envoled and all incidents reported. I am severely disabled & the council hasn't helped me at all. I am very tired and don't know what to do anymore. I am met with rude responses, completely ignored each time I reach out. Emails are ignored by my external support. It is an extremely poor service, which is very sad because the service has really changed over the years. Bromley Council please do better. I understand that so much has changed over the years, but it is really unfortunate that disabled people like myself are left to suffer.

Not a very helpful council as the service is generally poor. Seem to spend more time updating the website than with their customer care. Not sure what the council tax money even goes towards.
Trees not being planted on time, road markings not done, poor information on the website, issues with council tax, traffic wardens not checking for dangerous parking even when reported, general enquiries not even dealt with properly.
It seems to be only when a complaint is going to be made does anyone do their job.
Tracey Ennis ( care manager assistant…
Tracey Ennis ( care manager assistant in coordination & review team) has been the most compassionate, caring, proactive person that I have ever dealt with in social care.
Having a parent with Alzheimer's has been the most draining experience of my life, however, Tracey has gone over and above helping me to sort out my mums financial care package.
Her empathetic approach to my situation has been incredibly comforting and I cannot thank her enough.
If we had more Tracey's in this world, life wouldn't be as stressful
Thank you Tracey from the bottom of my heart! xxxx

Council as credit aggressors
As landlords, there are often small gaps between tenants. We let Bromley Council know and pay council tax on the empty property, as we do with other councils (a/c 57490128). We have done this for years. In the last year or so Bromley Council have tightened up their credit control systems. They are quicker to send chase up letters. And the letters escalate in aggression. We pay our monthly instalments online, within 2 weeks of the deadline, but they want to push us onto Direct Debit. Bromley Council write of taking us to court and sending in debt collectors (letter 10/01/22). This would frighten some, but we regard as pathetic, as we pay our bills, to all local councils we relate to, as well as utilities.
We have written to them about this twice. We do understand that local council finances are TERRIBLE, but bullying your very own public is wrongheaded and wicked.
Very bad service

Absolutely appalling
Absolutely appalling, so unhelpful, no masks worn , swearing at customers , this place needs to be sorted out especially the trade side it’s a disgrace was kept waiting 45 minutes as the so called staff were chatting, I complained and told to F off and go somewhere else ….. charming, won’t use them again
This is the worst Coucil I have lived…
This is the worst Coucil I have lived under. Very very expensive Coucil tax & poor services. We live in a Rd with a grammar school & it’s shocking how the parents park & use the Rd. We can’t park outside our own houses from 11.00-12.00 on working days and it seems the parking attendants are happy to give out tickets to the residents if we get caught out, yet are never around when the school parents continuously park illegally!
It’s is Easter Monday & I have just come back from church to a parking fine on my car which was parked outside my house. I was extremely surprised as I thought it was a bank holiday, Bromley Coucil offices are not even open yet they are out giving out parking tickets, shocking!
Excellent recycling service
Excellent recycling service. Can’t fault the team who collect. Well done.
Where to start!!! Rubbish service!
Where to start! Bin men makes such a mess every Friday when they collect the rubbish. Recycling bits that falls out of the recycling boxes they just leave laying around on the pavements. The food bin never really get fully emptied, I put a bag in mine and they can't even be bothered to remove the bag when collectig the food waste. So the bins are minging and need to keep washing it out even though I am using a binliner.
I bought a £40 receyling bin to keep the foxes out, lasted one collection and they ripped the lid right off. Broken the bin and they are taking no responsibilities replacing it, telling me I am not allowed to use my own bin but how many other people in our street is using different bins! They want to replaced it with a black wheelie bin that is not even for receyling at all!! Had to chase them for god knows how many weeks!Pale of poop if you ask me. Pay so much council tax and the service is rubbish!
"I have been looking into this issue for a while now – investigating and speaking with my colleagues about it.The only solutions for you it will be to replace your damaged bin with the boxes, as they are approved by the Bromley council for recycling. We cannot collect from the wheeled bins for a number of reasons including that this makes service inefficient. With previous experience showing that the occasional wheeled bin led to collections difficulties for some, and the potential issues of the damage to these privately owned bins( like in your example).
I can arrange for the new boxes to be delivered to you by the end of this week but I cannot replace your privately bought bin because it wasn’t authorised for the recycling usage at the first place."
- Stick your bins, I want my £40 bin replaced!!!!!!
Refuse collection a racket!
Refuse collection seems to be a scam. Often do not collect waste, leaving bins untouched. If you are lucky enough to get your bin emptied, then the rubbish goes everywhere.
