Social care failings - Councillor fortune needed

Poor, social care department. They put newly qualified social workers who have been in practice for a year on pedal stalls, who are incompetent in there own personal care. Then have the audacity to be in a role which requires them to make judgements. Staff are not interested in recommendations/ whistle blowing they are more than happy to NOT investigate genuine concerns, ignore complaints & stall appeals. Meanwhile using this time to cover up the cracks rather then make an admission of fault. We have and are facing, high levels discrimination & have full intentions of exposing them & gaining justice for all family affected. It's not what you know it's what you can prove they say. Nationwide people with SEND children don't ask for help because of boroughs like Bromley, who rather parent blame throw out orders left right and centre unlawfully,,, than actually do there job, investigate, support the family & most of all actually Safeguard the young people / children.

Shame on you, Councillor fortune your needed back in Bromley ASAP.

If this council was a business

If this council were a business, it would have alienated its clientele many moons ago. If I could praise it in any way, I'd say it has worked consistently hard to turn parents of children away from ever asking it for any SEN and disabled needs. This could be on some sort of 'triage' belief that those who shout the loudest and keep coming back asking for help, deserve it the least, and are just plain annoying rather than REALLY in need. Ade Adetosoye signs off what exactly? Conservative councillors respond only to their fans and leg it away from residents with genuine issues, and sign off Bromley policies which resemble the laws of the land in the same way Santa Claus resembles Buddha. Oh yes, the only people who remain in the SEN department are those who caused it to become the sh** show that it is.

My son

My son, mother, sister, and I have experienced severe racial discrimination from the London Borough of Bromley Council and Children’s Services. They have fabricated lies and defamed my character without ever meeting me, relying solely on false allegations tied to my name and ethnicity. I have been denied all contact with my son of who I have PR, after making legitimate complaints about this discrimination and victimhsation. They often communicate by phone, leaving little trace of accountability, and have not provided written responses. If you’ve faced similar mistreatment due to your identity, know that you are not alone. Take legal action immediately.

Eligibility to vote

I have just received a letter regarding eligibility t0 vote, l can’t believe what a complete waste of time and money l moved within the same block of flats and voted in the election this year. Surely the easy and most effective way to check on wasted costs is to cross reference with the Council tax payments for the current year and it will classify whose living at the address and any entitlement to vote, sheer inefficienty and a complete waste of tax payer’s money

3 times in 3 months the bin collection…

3 times in 3 months the bin collection has missed my house, I’ve contacted them and they leave it till the next collection. This is disappointing and disgusting especially in this heat! I have photos of all my neighbours bins being collected and mine left!

Dangerous Junction - Lives at Risk

I have been trying to get some yellow lines painted on the corners of my close as speeding oncoming traffic in the main road is blocked by parked cars. I send messages, ask for updates, call (although phone gets cut off on a regular basis) and I am appalled by the lack of care and communication on this. This has been an ongoing issue which the Council were made aware of LAST YEAR!

A very Conservative council

A very Conservative council. As always I strongly suspect nepotism ( just look at the Bromley mayor and his wife and all the long standing councillors) and I have experienced excessive bureaucracy, nonchalance, ambivalence amd generally poor service all round. I think because Bromley has a higher percentage of retired people the council are not under much pressure to improve or change for the better.
You can also tell alot about the open mindedness (or lack of) of a Borough's Government from the quality of its public Buildings (council buildings, libraries etc). I can't think of even one decent contemporary public building in the Bromley Borough).

Took my 80 year old mother to Bromley…

Took my 80 year old mother to Bromley to go shopping. We parked at The Hill. Car park was empty, shipping centre pleasant. Thought Bromley was good. But….no human at the car park to assist 80 year old with RingGo app. We managed to work it out. But RingGo phone mum we disconnected. We were less than 5 minutes late getting back to car. Noticed 2 menacing ‘Civil Enforcement’ officers on the car park. Did not know what they were. Thought I’d stepped into the Handsmaids Tale. Turns out they were handing out parking penalties. £60 for being less than 5 minutes late, plus being menaced. So….have told Mum never to go to Bromley again. No one to help with the app, but Civil Enforcement officers employed by the Borough to hand out enormous fines. Terrible place.

I informed Bromley Council I had taken…

I informed Bromley Council I had taken possession of a property in their borough on 21 November 2023 but not taking up occupancy until 22 December as the property was unfurnished and, therefore, uninhabitable due to lack of furniture. I applied for a single persons council tax discount which was approved to start from 22 December 2023. I queried why the discount didn't include the period 21 November to 22 December. They said it was because the property was not being used during that time. How unbelievable the council's thinking is. They charge the full council tax whilst I am not there and not using all their facilities but give me a discount when I have moved in and using all their facilities. Where is the logic in this? Is this a matter of a dictatorial organisation squeezing as much as they can out of Joe Public?

No support, worst experience

They only want to care about parking violations nowadays. No support from them, worst experience. I have to pay for my bin container, although we need to pay a high council tax.
