I am extremely disappointed with my experience. My flight was cancelled by the airline, and I am still waiting for my refund with no clear communication.
I have sent multiple emails and made several attempts to contact customer service, but I have not received any clear response بشأن when I will get my money back.
Every time I try to reach them through online chat, I am told agents are busy, with no follow-up or resolution.
This situation is very frustrating. I need my money back, and the lack of transparency and support is unacceptable. Customers deserve proper communication, especially when refunds are involved.
I would not recommend you based on this experience.

We booked a flight through BudgetAir, and it got canceled. NOBODY AT BUDGETAIR bothered to inform us about it. It was by pure chance that I logged in to the airline website and saw that the flight had been canceled. Then it took countless emails to the BudgetAir customer service in hopes of getting a refund for the canceled flight. Don`t even bother with their live chat, it's completely useless, it just says all the agents are busy (at all times)

After the airline changed my return flight from direct to having a lay over (adding 7 hours to my trip), the budget air agent told me I was not eligible for a refund and to confirm the flight changes. I confirmed the changes but found out a few days later that I was misinformed by the budget air agent. I indeed should have been given the option to cancel my flights and get a full refund because of the significant flight change. The airline has told budget air to refund me the money but budget air refuses to do so which at this point constitutes fraud. After proving to them that the airline supports my refund request, I've been ghosted.
UPDATE: after posting this review on TrustPilot, the Budgetair team reviewed my file and have issued a full refund based on the airline's policies. Although I maintain the belief that they're call center staff are instructed to avoid refunding customers whenever possible, I do acknowledge that eventually management eventually issued a refund. It took many emails and phone calls, and then finally a posting on this website. Thank you TrustPilot

Misleading practices and zero resolution for a family with a child with special needs.
I booked round-trip flights from Medellín (MDE) to Toronto (YYZ) (Booking Ref: BCA-988xxxx) through BudgetAir in February 2026. Without my prior consent, the airline changed my return itinerary, adding a nearly 4-hour layover in Mexico City — a significant change that directly impacts my family, as we are traveling with three young children, one of whom has a diagnosed hyperactivity condition.
What made this worse was BudgetAir's confirmation interface: I was presented with a single 'Confirm' button, with no option to decline or review alternatives. Clicking it immediately and irrevocably locked in the new itinerary. This is a misleading and deceptive UX practice that does not constitute informed consent.
When I contacted customer service via chat, the agent was unable to offer any solution, citing 'policy' repeatedly. I requested escalation to a supervisor. No complaint number was issued. No real solution was offered. The chat was nearly closed on me mid-conversation while my issue remained unresolved.
The agent's capacity to resolve issues was completely inadequate for a case of this nature. A family traveling with a child with a medical condition deserves more than a copy-paste policy response.
I am now going to escalate this to the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) and am pursuing a chargeback with my bank. I strongly advise travelers — especially families — to think twice before booking with BudgetAir.

I've booked a round-trip flight for two people from Milan to Sharm and back using BudgetAir.
First flight was with Easyjet, second one with Wizz Air.
When the moment of the first check-in arrived, I had multiple issue because the booking was for two people on BudgetAir website, but resulted in two separate bookings on Easyjet side, meaning I received only one reservation code and I was able to check-in for only one person.
I had to make multiple calls and waited for hours but received no answer from BudgetAir client service, so I had to directly contact Easyjet and try to solve the issue with them (lost almost 4 hours just to check-in both passengers, with the constant doubt of not being able to do it...).
Now I'm trying to check-in for the second flight back and I have the same issue, plus the fact that the flight was postponed and I received no update of it.
I discovered it just because I was very skeptical from the first experience and directly checked with AI and flight number if everything was ok with it.
Now I'm still not able to check-in and I'm trying to contact client service which is not answering.
I had the worst experience with BudgetAir.

Worst possible experience with this airline, booked a flight with a connecting flight (it didn’t say it was a self transfer -at the time) then turns out it was a self transfer and there wasn’t enough time to get through immigration and re check back into our flight with the layover time. So I called, tried to change the 1st flight to an earlier one, the man I spoke to was so rude and unhelpful, basically saying it’s my fault for not checking the times when they sold me the flight in the first place. Anyway no cancellation or change available so had to just book another flight. Goodluck out there x

Had booked my holidays through the platform however encountered quite lots of issues afterwards as booking process isn’t set properly, particularly haven’t had my meal prepared for me for my more than 24h travelling journey. However custom service team members Ayesh and Sumi not only didn’t provide any resolutions or compensation but offered to take of it myself next time when booking the flights.
