I am extremely disappointed with the service from BudgetAir.
My flight from Manchester to Peshawar was cancelled by the airline. On 13th March, I received an email from BudgetAir confirming that my refund was “on the way” and that I would receive it within 10 days.
However, as of today, I have not received any refund, nor have I received any further communication or updates regarding my case.
What makes this even more frustrating is that there appears to be no proper way to contact them. Customer service is practically unreachable, and there is no clear support channel to resolve this issue. It feels like once they have your money, they disappear.
This lack of communication and failure to process refunds within the promised timeframe is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend BudgetAir to anyone based on this experience.
I expect my refund to be processed immediately.

Have booked my flight for 4 days from now, and tried to check in for one of my flights which is with easyJet but with no booking reference number. Even tried contacting easyJet directly to ask for check in, they have informed me they don't even have my information for said flight and nothing is on their system. Have been waiting to chat to an actual person on the contact forum, no reply just keep logging me out, have sent emails to their contact support with no reply. Flying in 4 days and still no clue what the hell I'm supposed to do!!! shockingly bad customer service!

I am extremely disappointed with BudgetAir’s handling of my booking (BUK-41715930).
Wizz Air cancelled my outbound flight (W95605 – London Gatwick to Jeddah). As a result, the return flight is no longer usable for the intended journey. Despite this, BudgetAir has only offered a partial refund for the outbound segment and is refusing to process a full refund for the entire booking.
Under UK/EU passenger rights, when part of a journey is cancelled and the trip can no longer be fulfilled, passengers are entitled to a full refund for the entire booking.
I have contacted BudgetAir multiple times and clearly requested a full refund, but I have not received a proper response.
This is unacceptable and misleading. Customers should be aware that BudgetAir may delay or avoid issuing full refunds even when airlines cancel flights.
If this is not resolved promptly, I will proceed with a chargeback through my bank and escalate this matter further.
I expect BudgetAir to resolve this issue urgently.

While I understand your explanation regarding separate tickets, this booking was clearly marketed and purchased as a single return journey. Due to the airline cancellation of the outbound flight, the overall trip can no longer be fulfilled.
Redirecting me to Refund Protect is not an appropriate resolution, as this is not a voluntary cancellation but a failure of the core travel service.
I have already requested a full refund directly and will now proceed with a chargeback through my bank on the basis of services not provided.
I remain open to resolving this directly if BudgetAir is willing to process a fair outcome.

After booking, the special assistance requested for my son wasn’t arranged or recorded on tickets. After days of chasing BudgetAir via email (luckily I booked our holiday 4 months in advance) I was told to contact the airline myself, with no contact details provided. I eventually sorted it via the airline login for our journey out and return.
Outbound travel was fine, but our return flights, booked 4 months in advance, were rescheduled the day after departure from the UK. BudgetAir failed to respond or secure Qatar Airways’ alternative options, resulting in all 9 tickets being cancelled. Budgetair ignored calls, emails, and messages for days. I contacted Qatar airlines who confirmed BudgetAir could rebook us for free, but said I could not do it via their app as the booking was made by Budgetair and not by me
directly with Qatar.
Within 24 hours, our booking disappeared entirely due to budgetair’s inaction. This had nothing to do with external events, just incompetence and lack of diligence from BudgetAir.
For 6 days, I spent hours daily trying to reach them: phones unanswered, live chat and emails ignored or closed without response, constant logouts, and no follow-up. Even when they replied via Skyscanner pressure on email, it was empty reassurance. At the last minute, they claimed no flights were available and offered a refund, useless with a family of 9 needing to get home safely.
I had to rebook our return flights myself via a trusted local travel agency in the UK the day before our planned return home, paying £6,000, double the original cost. However, the agency were fabulous to ensure all tickets confirmed, booked special assistance and our seats together all the way back. They even stayed in touch via what’s app to ensure we were okay at each leg of our journey.
Budgetair say refunds may take up to 9 weeks, and their refund request documentation doesn’t even list all 9 passengers. So it seems refunds will be made in bits for all 9 passengers similar to what other customers report.
Terrible service, zero accountability, and a deeply stressful experience that nearly left us stranded abroad and cost us double the holiday cost. Use a reputable agency with good reviews! Budgetair, Never again.

Terrible experience. I booked a flight through budgetair and, upon cancellation of the flight, they proceeded to change the booking to another date without my confirmation and without giving me any alternative option. Now, after spending hundreds of euros on that flight, I find myself with a flight on a different date that I therefore cannot take. The customer service was an even worse experience, as it is almost impossible to talk to a physical person instead of just an AI bot. When I finally managed to talk to someone they dismissed me saying that I did confirm the change and that is not possible to change the date or have a refund, when on the contrary the only thing I did was to promptly let them know that I did not agree with said change. Total waste of time and money. I strongly advice not to book anything from this platform.

I booked a round-trip ticket (Paris – Bangkok – Paris) in a single transaction for €1,397.12.

Following BudgetAir’s response, I strongly dispute their position.
This booking was made in a single transaction for a round-trip journey (Paris – Bangkok – Paris) for €1,397.12. Presenting this as “two separate tickets” does not reflect the economic and contractual reality of the purchase.
The outbound flight was first significantly modified (over 5 hours difference and longer layovers), then cancelled. As a result, the entire trip became impossible and the return flight is completely unusable.
Despite this, BudgetAir refuses to issue a full refund and relies on a technical argument to avoid its obligations.
More concerning: no actual refund has been received to date, including for the outbound flight that they claim to have refunded.
This situation raises serious concerns regarding their refund practices and compliance with consumer protection laws.
A dispute is currently under review with PayPal, and the case has also been reported to the relevant consumer authorities.
I formally request BudgetAir to resolve this matter immediately by issuing a full refund. Failing this, I will pursue all available legal and regulatory actions.

I have never been more determined to write a damning review for a company than I am for BudgetAir, and that alone should tell you everything you need to know.
On my life, if there was an award for the worst company ever to exist, BudgetAir would effortlessly win it without even needing to try.
I have never experienced such a complete lack of competence, accountability, and basic customer care.
Their so-called “customer service” is nothing more than an endless loop of scripted, copy-and-paste responses that completely ignore what you’ve actually said. You can explain your situation clearly, provide evidence, ask direct questions and yet still get the same generic reply over and over again, as if no one is actually reading your messages.
The chat system is an absolute joke. Expect to wait an incredibly long time just to speak to someone, only to be met with someone who has no real understanding of your issue and no authority to resolve it. It feels deliberately designed to wear you down.
Emails? Even worse. Responses take days, sometimes weeks and when they finally arrive, they are vague, unhelpful, and often completely unrelated to the questions you asked.
Phone call? Nooooo! No one in BugetAir has a phone.
At no point did I feel like my case was being handled properly. It genuinely felt like they were trying to push me into the easiest outcome for them, rather than doing what was right.
In the end, I had to resolve the situation myself by cancelling and booking directly with the airline, something I should never have had to do.
Avoid this company at all costs. Save yourself the stress, time, and frustration.

Just booked a flight but had an issue with time changes causing me to need to change the flight. After sitting on the unhelpful chat feature for an hour I was logged out and not helped. I tried to be helpful by changing my flight within an hour of booking so they did not have to hassle, but I could not get an agent to chat with. The booking was easy, but changing or cancelling is impossible.

Booked return tickets from phillipines to dubai. Our outbound flights were cancelled by the airline, so we're unable to go and obviously unable to take the return flights... 3 days of dealing with incompetent customer "service" agents... I get told that I need to reach out to the airlines and ask for a refund myself... airlines say that they're happy to cancel and refund me based on the current war situation, then get in touch with budgetair who say they cant refund me. If the airlines are willing why aren't you budgetair? Im also waiting for a call from a manager, who hasn't bothered to call me yet. Dont waste your time with these guys, not worth the savings, as if you need help, its near to impossible to get hold of them. Much better to just pay slightly more and just book through the airline who will gladly help you.

Good price of ticket, but very bad service. i booked my airline ticket from Dubai to Lahore and i booked it from Dubai AED currency and from credit card. here bank cut extra money for international transaction, as per bank "BudgetAir.com" is registered internationally not in UAE'. it should be mentioning before. better don't buy tickets here
