Really disappointed with my recent order from the Denton branch. Whoever is cooking the chicken seriously needs proper culinary training — I’ve never seen chicken burnt from the inside like this before. It tasted like an old reheated chicken breast that had been thrown back into the fryer and burnt to a crisp. Completely inedible.

I called to complain and was only refunded for the burger, so in the end I travelled 15–20 minutes for an overpriced can of Coke and a dip. Unreal. I’ve never had these issues with the Salford branch, which is always spot on.

Burgerism used to be really good. It has gone down hill massively. Not sure what has changed but by looking at other reviews it seems to be a recurring theme. Such ashame. Dont eat these burgers, they are far from good value or quality. 😢

restaurant took over an hour to make our
food, and added multiple stops for the rider. two hours later no food, no option to call the rider. called the restaurant and they said they would call the rider. 10 mins later no call back with an update. i call back and they tell me the riders phone is switched off.

never mind i had to call them back to get an update, they now tell me there’s nothing they can do and they can’t even remake my order for me to PICK UP myself after over 2 hours of waiting. abysmal, no empathy, no customer service, and from a fellow business owner - i wish them all the worst.

Ive had several burgers from Burgerism in the past and they have all been absolutely delicious, however, the burgers I ordered from them this weekend just gone (03.08.25) were absolutely horrible.

Upon opening the burger boxes (two of them) the black wrapper that the burgers come in, was literally dripping with grease/fat. The buns themselves were so soaked in grease/fat that they had to be binned. They were inedible. The rest of the burgers were just so soaked in grease/fat, they also had to go in the bin. However, the skin-on-fries were OK. For 2 burgers that cost over £30 (via deliveroo) I would have expected the burgers not to be dripping in grease/fat (burgers I have had from Burgerism in the past were never dripping in fat... juicy, yes, but not swimming in fat). I will not be buying anything from Burgerism again... not for that price

A beautifully constructed burger and the option of sweet potato fries was a brill decision

I’ve heard about Burgerism for a few years and always wanted to try.
I went to Freight Island on 1st March and tried burgerism. The burger was ok, however, what was not ok was the attitude of the man serving people.
They also had NO KETCHUP to put on their £3.95 fries!
Extremely disappointed.

Appalling service at freight island burgersism. Do not recommend them. Rude and ignorant woman at desk who blatantly ignored me, asking people behind me to be served. Soon as I try to raise her attention she walks away twice. I had 2 children with me who also witnessed this appalling behaviour. Spoke to another guy and raised what on earth is this kind of arrogance and complete ignorance. The lack of professionalism and zero service. Racism at its finest at this place. That attitude is not tolerated. Other people witnessed what she did.

The biggest issue I have with Burgerism is they ask you to select a time slot for when you want your food to be ready and then just make it straight away and leave it sat waiting in the shop why offer a time slot if your not going to adhere to it.ive had one tonight from the Denton branch and the burger was stone cold very disappointed

OMG WOW I can see why it's voted Manchester's Best Burger🤩 and the fries are unreal too, I need to know the seasoning!! We collected and it was made on time and they even brought it to the car

I bought food from this evening and spent nearly £40, I collected the food as usual but when I got home some of my order was missing. I phoned up to enquire where my food was and the manager who I spoke too was very rude and didn't really do anything to resolve the issue saying they had no drivers to drop-off the missing food from my order even though they always have drivers doing deliveries! When I could not see a resolution i told him I wanted a refund and he very rudely hung up on me, when I called back he was still rude and passed me onto someone else who said they had refunded me but can't tell me if it is refunded? 🤷‍♂️ I won't be buying food from burgerism in future after this experience, I've used this branch for a few years now and it's slowly been getting worse recently!

Decided to give Burgerism a try after seeing a tic tok.

I ordered a burger meal fries chicken wings and a drink.

Firstly staff very friendly I had parked up and was waiting in the rain so staff said wait in the car we will bring your order over to you.

I got my order and literally drove 30 seconds around the corner to eat, opened the chips nice and hot clearly just been made this is where all the positives stop unfortunately.

The burger was tiny like really small I could have easily of ate 3 of them, no before people say I am a greedy sod I can only eat one at archies and full to the top. The meat in the burger taste nice but it is just missing something not sure what but the flavour just isn't how a burger should be, it was also luke warm unlike the chips

Chicken wings again luke warm these had clearly been left under a heat lamp, also wings where so small and not even bothered to coat them in sauce just drizzled it over the top.

Overall not a very good experience I don't think burgerism will be around for very long unless it ups its game quick.

Just ordered for the first time and it will definitely be the last one, shocking to say the least, first of all the total cost of this was over £65, order turned up and 2 burgers were missing, rang and spoke to them and they said order a sauce and put notes on explaining, sauce ordered as advised and what turns up, a sauce, I mean really a delivery of a sauce, then the joke of a further conversation trying to get this sorted, will absolutely not order from this joke of a place again.

Absolute joke, went on the website and ordered my food for pickup, at the time specified, shop was shut (Salford) took my money and stil waiting for a response or refund

Not great experience... I ordered x2 meals with dips missing drinks, dips, and a portion of fries. no contact number to call I then emailed customer service with no reply. Shocking C/S would never eat with them again
