Very experienced person, very helpful far in excess of the Insurance company who just want to take your money But never give any back
Please thank Gary Ball for all his help. Thanks Terence Brown
Absolute joke of a company
We had a leak in our bathroom in November 2023 we went through our insurance company who appointed Davies to handle the case. We're now nearly 5 months on and the communication has been terrible. The initial offer was an actual insult and after getting our insurers in house servveyor onto it they reluctantly increased it. I am constantly chasing them for answers and the only time they call us is when we call and complain to our insurer. The people we speak to on the phone sound as if they are either new or just don't have a clue what they're doing and an email reply takes around 10 working days. We will be taking our claim back in-house with our insurer and making sure that people know how terrible the service is. I am never one to leave a bad review on here but I feel that on this occasion it is completely warranted!
Good, professional service
Everything went very well from the attendance of Mr Chapman for the initial inspection (after a tree fell on our roof). He was very professional and helpful and explained the whole process clearly
Initial contact.
Experience was satisfactory but initial contact was unprofessional - just received a text from unknown person asking for personal info.
Accurate service
Despite the claim being somewhat longwinded, the assessor who came out was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. The information he gave was accurate and correct. Overall, a good experience.

3.5 stars is pushing it!!!!!
3.5 stars is pushing it!!!!!
BVS are absolutely shocking, our property was flooded and they rehoused us in a hotel for 15.5 weeks, failed to tell the drying contractors the property was empty so no work regarding the drying was done prior to christmas period and i had to chase the drying company and beg them to come on the 22nd December and maintain the dehumidifiers over christmas as they shut down for the festive period MYSELF. You ring up and they answer questions with a question as they are so useless they have no idea! My son is 3 years old (almost 4) and BVS are this week telling us to move out of the hotel as soon as the screed is dry and move back home with a screeded floor as it is now apparantly SAFE with a 3 year old whilst we wait 3-4 weeks for carpet to be fitted!!!!!!!! Who is responsible if the little one falls and cracks his head open on a concrete screeded floor????!!!!! BVS ripped the carpet up, removed all the flooring and are not putting it back as it was before sending us home. We’ve come 15.5 weeks, surely send a family home when its safe and a carpet is fitted. BVS’s problem if they haven’t chased the carpet company because they are useless and lazy. As home owners we have chased BVS for 2.5 weeks with the date the screeded floor is going down by the builders who should of booked the carpet fitters in at the same time or atleast the same week, they have failed to contact the carpet company but are returning us to our home with rock hard concrete screeded floors throughout the proerty as its SAFE. I personally have rung the carpet company and ordered my own carpets which BVS have not done and are unaware of as yet but the wait could be 3-4 weeks for fitting. Case Managers at this business are so clueless and shocking, the first case manager Sam has left the company shortly after failing to get drying contractors into our property. The second case manager Chris is a joker, answers questions with a question to get out of a situation, absolute bell!!! He can’t have children or young family members to be considerate enough to put himself in anyone elses shoes thats for sure. You always have to chase for payments also from BVS, you ring up and your case manager is NEVER AVAILABLE and rings back much later. They say they will ring back with information and 7 days later BVS have still not rung back with any carpet information at all!!!! Finally the only slight positive i have from our long situation is the surveyor Stephen was the only good thing we experienced from our situation as he was helpful, polite and turned up to appointments when he said he would.
