They have very poor communication

They have very poor communication, they use long delay tactics, are not trustworthy, for some reason insurance company’s use them a lot, however, bad reviews is probably one of the reasons they changed names from BVS to Davies brothers

Very helpful firm

Very helpful firm, my car went into my porch and caused a lot of structure damage. The surveyor came to see the damage within a few days. Within 2wks i sent a quote to them which they agreed and i have been paid out.

Slow, misleading, avoid

There was a fire next door in September that damaged our roof, walls etc. Surveyor came relatively quick and was the only qualified and normal person in this company. The time I wasted hanging on the phone to them asking where will we finally get the money was ridiculous. At the end they paid us the amount from the quote but without the VAT, and told me that I will be reimbursed for that when I'll send the invoices. Nobody told me that. I dont have extra couple of thousand to put it upfront from my own pocket, and the contractor want the money for the materials, scaffolding, his employees etc. I hope I will not have to deal with BVS again.

Unprofessional Company

The worst experience we have had in a lifetime, had the accessor Daniel Crowther come to my property, I explained to the surveyor the situation, he started walking around and taking pictures of unaffected areas in my property. My roof is leaking since the storm around chimney breast, he finished up with a recording and told me the process of how to review my claim.
One hour later checked online my claim is closed! I was so frustrated after the surveyor told me different. Contacted the insurance they say we don’t deal with the claims after they have been appointed to a team BVS
Been around in circles to find out the surveyor has declined the claim?
He didn’t say anything like that at the property he said he would right a report and insurance would deal with it if they would pay or not. Really really bad experience if the surveyor gave me false information, goes to show how accurate his report is and how he has the decision to decline the claim.

Conclusion I believe this is all a scam stay away from these people they gain a claim on your insurance for coming out accessing the situation, and then decline the claim.

For them to come out the claim still registers against you , the team needs realigning no wonder they keep changing names.

No point having home insurance if you’re not going to fix my roof once a storm has caused it to leak. My roof is in very good condition and the tiles are all in place but the surveyor seems to THINK the storm didn’t cause the leak because he can’t see any damage. He can’t visually see, his visual is not good enough, because the root cause of the leak is the storm if we can’t see where it’s leaking it time to get your hands dirty go up there and find the leak rather than come with cameras to view the roof. His opinion is not worth wasting a claim on your insurance best get it fixed private it’s all a CON.

Last but not least I got told by my insurance Davies are coming so I searched online for the company to make sure they are a reputable firm, I couldn’t find them, I then assumed insurance must use a reputable firm and it should be ok, after they arrived I find out the are now call BVS surprise surprise they have changed there name. When I search BVS I see the reviews, I wish I read trust pilot first because I would have cancelled the claim my self and fixed the roof my self to stay away from this unprofessional Firm.
