The echo many of the negative…

The echo many of the negative statements on here. BEWARE!! This company by their own admission off the record are involved with your Insurence claim to ensure that AXA/ Direct line/ pay as little as possible towards your claim. They will drag out the process as long as possible in the hope you give up and accept the low value settlement. They undervalue all the trades, bring down the quality of housing and repair and they pay their staff bonuses based on how much money they save the insurer. This is a scandal and they are an utter disgrace.

Note: this company are changing their name to Davies

Great service

Surveyor came out quickly to assess the damage. Polite and respectful of the property. Provided a quote quickly. Once settlement was agreed by ourselves they quickly arranged for the payment of claim funds with the insurance company. Great service thank you.

A painless experience

The appointment was easily arranged and convenient. The inspector was very professional and quickly explained what could be done. A resolution was agreed upon while he was there. Overall a very satisfactory experience.

BVS Worst of the Worst

This company BVS or now known as Davies' is a disgrace we are still trying to sort our claim with them from January, apart from 1 person named Jo who was really helpful, the rest have been rude, arrogant and very dismissive as I seem to have to talk to someone different every time. It seems they like to drag out claims and offer ludicrously low settlements. I will check when doing my insurance (This year with Shelia's Wheels) next time if I have to deal with BVS for a claim, if so will get insurance elsewhere.

Rude and arrogant

Don't care about anything or anyone.platinum insurance had a claim with admiral and Bvs were the assessor
Rude arrogant laughed and said would be lucky to get £2500 the cost was almost £10, 000 they gave us £5500 and we also had to pay the vat read the small print if they can't appoint a builder, in our case because of where we live you only get what they would have paid their own builders will never use admiral again

The Admiral and Bvs Alliance

My son had insurance through Admiral put in a claim they sent case to BVS, a year later there is no news whatsoever. I am amazed how the company is allowed to operate despite so many complaints.

Just Plain Awful -

Where to even begin with this company….

Long story short. My kitchen ceiling collapsed and badly damaged the entirety of my kitchen over a week ago.

We contacted AXA immediately who from the start were extremely unhelpful.

My wife and I explained that we had a 3 week old baby and a 19 month old toddler and that our house was now extremely dangerous and uninhabitable.

AXA said a BVS surveyor would be out within A WEEK to decide whether we had a claim.

Surveyor turned up a week later to state “it sounds like a ceiling failure and you won’t be covered” This before even looking at the damage…

Surprisingly enough he then decided that the claim was declined leaving my young family essentially homeless, living out of bags at my in laws some 35 miles away.

At every single stage they have been unhelpful, arrogant, uncaring and have even lied about when someone would be out to test for asbestos in the damaged ceiling.

AXA have additionally stated that no alternative accommodation facility exists on our buildings, contents and accidental damage cover which is again a lie.

The policy schedule clearly states that £25 of alternative accommodation cover is supplied even if the £100k is turned down by BVS’s buildings assessor.

This will undoubtedly end up in court and with the insurance ombudsman but in the meantime if these chancers show up at your door then BEWARE

not a good experience

BVS now Davies were appointed in December 2022 to oversee the work to be carried out after a burst pipe in my brothers house , he is 86 . For 7months the house has no ceilings in 2 of the rooms , plaster and boards removed and basically like a bomb site . Finally in June the drying out was signed off , only for BVS to pull out of the agreement . I havent liked dealing with this company at all . In actual fact BVS advisor suggested I go on the website for master builders and basically take it from there and sort it myself . They didnt even tell me the company were not going ahead with the work , nor did AXA the insurance company my brother has the contract with . They havent shown an ounce of customer care regarding my brothers age or how frail he is . Lets hope Davies can shake this company into something one can trust

BVS now rebranded to Davies, but beware

BVS has now rebranded and called themselves’Davies’. I wonder why??

They can change their name but my complaint is still going through after their very poor service. I imagine Mr Udal still works for them.

Admiral, and other insurance companies use them - beware.

Absolute waste of space

Absolute waste of space

Accident

Car smashed into mine and my neighbours wall . Plus my fence.

They want you yo do all the work while they sit back and get paid,

in my opinion a under priced survey.

The contacters who bvs use
Wouldn't take the repair on.

Maybe because of the under priced valuation of the repair.

Come up with some bull about it being a shared wall.

Now I am left trying to find builders who answers there phone or returns a calls.

Thats a task in its self.

And I'm the only person who doesn't get paid for there time,
Anxiety and being stressed

No wonder premiums go up because of all the anger ons bleeding the claim dry

It makes me wonder why axa use this company.
