Sham survey shsm company
Sham company who operate solely to drag out claims and offer ludicrously low settlements in order to boost AXAs profit margin. Following a main supply water leak under the garage floor, i had 3 excavations, kitchen, garage and driveway. Flooring destroyed, garage and driveway holes filled poorly and only £900 offered. A joke of a survey and off to the Ombudsman for me. How AXA can be allowed to shield themselves from customers by appointing 3rd party shark companies is beyond me. If i have an AXA policy i should be dealing with an AXA claims manager this should NOT be outsourced!
****update BVS have now changed their name to Davies, obviously they had reached their complaints threshold as BVS,so now a name change but not a game change ie same company same shoddy service for policyholders.

JOKE COMPANY . AVOID
surveyor was Rude . Survey had to be done again by someone else.* company never got back in touch with me when promised . *Blamed building contractor for holding up work , When actually it was them holding up things.* After many complaints insurance company had to intervene after ombudsman was involved .The person they sent out 100% did not do his job . just played the save money for the insurance company at all cost , Which caused me a nervous breakdown. 12 months to sort out .

Since my first engagement with BVS at the beginning of 2023, I have had nothing but pain, suffering, and stress. The company’s processes are incredibly inefficient, which led to a lot of frustration on my part. For example, I had to wait for weeks just to get someone out to the property to get an estimate of the work required. Their work is full of errors and doesn't accurately reflect the discussion so I had to explain the same thing multiple times.
I also found that there was a serious lack of communication between the company and myself, which made it difficult to get anything done. I would often have to call multiple times just to get an update on the status of my project. When I did finally get in touch with someone from the company, they were often unable to answer my questions or provide me with any useful information. The worst was Chris Horsfield who was assigned my case manager. He used to talk to me condescendingly with no interest in my work, giving borderline rude answers to my questions. It got to a point where I couldn't take it anymore so I refused to talk to him so his manager took over the case.
When I tried to bring these issues up with the company, I found that there was no accountability for their actions and no real effort to address my concerns. The company seemed more interested in making excuses than in actually fixing the problems I was experiencing.
Overall, I would not recommend this company to others. The inefficiency, lack of communication, and poor practices make it clear that this is not a company that values its customers or takes their concerns seriously.
The worst company i have ever dealt with
The worst, rudest and most unhelpful company i have ever dealt with. Continually changing their minds on what i’m able to have replaced after a burst pipe has ruined my kitchen. After 20 weeks since i made my claim they are now saying that it was pre existing and i can basically get nothing replaced! Axa need to find another company to use as this company are dishonest and an absolute sham!

I cannot understand why Direct Line use this company .
I have had a claim outstanding since December 2022.
They don't get back to you when you email, untruthful with information on things they have done , think the claim is in respect of my bathroom when it's the kitchen.
Unprofessional don't know how to address email's.
I am now going to make a formal complaint.
Hopefully your insurance company don't use them to handle your claim

Re wall blown down in a gale - LV insurance
Gentleman who came described everything in detail, calculated the amount to be paid by the insurer to reconstruct wall 'as was'. He left all relevant paperwork and explained what options were available to me, i.e. rebuild the wall, build a better wall or put up fencing (much cheaper) - my decision was for a better wall, for which I would pay the difference.

It wouldn’t shock if it transpired that this unethical shower of incompetent and non insurance qualified persons that I had to deal with were being paid a bonus for repudiated claims rather than working in an objective an equitable manner.
