Top service BVA 👍

The guy who delivered my order(a radiator) was really unfriendly. My house is on the ground floor, seriously 1 step above the sidewalk, I had to help him bring the radiator in because of course it was too heavy for him alone, but he refused to bring the radiator 3 meters further in the hall and left me alone with the radiator in front of my door blocking the entrance.

Very rude behaviour in the warehouse
I bought a lot of 15 used bikes. In the description said literally "verschillende soorten en maten met verschillende mankementen" (
different types and sizes with different defects). One of the bikes was locked and without key, I don't have any prove that this bike was not stolen, and for sure I would never pay for any kind of stolen product.
1- When I picked up in the BVA warehouse I talked with the man that was working there, the first disappointing situation was that this "sir" reproached me that I was not able to speak in dutch in a rude way. Very impolite and not professional at all, first impression deeply bad (the first time that this situation happened to me in The Netherlands, normally Dutch people speak fluently english, is very kind and they try to help you even if you talk different language, always polite. Not this case).
2-I did not receive any kind of help putting the 15 bikes in my van. However that is not the point. The problem started when I ask the man to unlock the bike. His solution was to do it by myself at home, where I do not have any kind of tool to cut steel. After explaining him the situation he accepted to lend me one tool to unlock by MYSELF my new purchase. The tool broke down due to was a ridiculous shears for a bike lock and the atmosphere move from impoliteness to annoyness. He told me in dutch that in the "defect" was in the lot description. A broken wheel or a damage brake is a defect, a locked bike of course is not a defect because the bike is completely useless and everybody can steal a bike from the closest train station and sell it, what is named robbery. We had an argument because I wanted a solution and his answer was that this was my problem not his problem. I told him that it was really unfair (and rude) when I am paying him for a service and he had the warehouse full of tools that could be useful for unlock the bike and his answer was that it was my problem. At the end this guy literally kicked me out from the warehouse.
Very bad experience because BVA is good business idea and wanted to keep buying products from this company but nevertheless after my experience in Zwolle I am not feeling comfortable with myself if I use their services again.

Worst service ever!
I intended to by a lot of different things to fill a container to ship to Bonaire which is out of the European Union.
In order to find out how I can get the btw(VAT) back I wrote to BAV upfront.
My question was:
I have previously participated in auctions from BVA and bought different things for my company Shores 62 BV. These will be exported to Bonaire immediately after the purchase. via GLS Caribbean Shipping.
My question is now: How can I prevent it from having to pay 21% btw or how can I claim the money back?
The answer I recieved from BVA (Wouter) was:
For export of your lot outside the EU you must first pay the original invoice and take the lots. After you have exported the lots you must send the following documents or data:
a: MRN export document with the confirmation of Exit
b: Bill of Lading
c: Confirmation of your bank details.
After a check a VAT free invoice will be made and the VAT amount will be refunded.
In the following time I purchased items in the value of 16283,95€.
After the container has been shipped to Bonaire and I had received the ex and import documents I forwarded them TO BVA to ask my money back.
That was on 6 September. I wrote several time since then and also called several times trying to find someone who would support me with my claim.
On 2nd October I finally got to talk to one employee (Daniella) who works for accounts receivable. She told me that they would not pay the btw back on those items which have been bought "thuisbezord" because it was sent to a dutch adress. Only those items I had bought which had been collected by a third party would be reimbursed.
In both cases it is the same adress of a shipping company which ships container abroad. In both cases I never personally recwived the items because they have been directly shipped to Bonaire and in both cases I provided the shipping documents.
On my statement that I have a written confirmation from BVA I received the answer "That is bad luck. You received a wrong answer. There is nothing I can do about that."
That leaves me with the problem that I will only receive the btw back on 9.581,09€ (2.012,03) and leaves me with an open amount of 1.407,60€ that I will not receive back although they had confirmed to pay it back.
On my final question on when I could at least expect the payment of the part that they would do and if I could have the name of the colleague that works on it to cantact her/him, Daniella from BVA told me that she could not say because they havn´t started yet and in no case she would probide me with a name ofher colleague.

The employees of BVA AUCTIONS are scrap dealers
The employees of BVA AUCTIONS are thieves but certainly not professionals. I just received a lot that I paid relatively expensive with a delivery cost of 150 euros and the coffee machine does not even turn on.
The lot was described as used and not as "out of order" or "not working". These thieves have left the lot to go to France with all the costs that this represents without saying anything. They are scrap dealers, scavengers but certainly not professionals of distance selling. Can someone tell me where to complain in the Netherlands?

Every item has a starring price that is set by bva themselves, so it's not really an auction because of the starting price.
I seen 1 item with a starting price of €1500 I would have had to bid €1600, plus the auction cost, so in reality the starting price was €1800.

Wrong lot. Bad service. Got a lot that was not even auctiond and the other lot was not to be found.
I had won two lots, when I went to pick them up one of the lots was not there. Very disapointed and got the money back for the missing lot. The other lot I brought home and found out that the lot I took home was not the right one. The productnumbers did not even come up in the auction! So I am stuck with something I did not bid on. According to BVA I should have checked the lot and its my problem. No sorry, no money back no nothing.
I often buy at auctions but I will NEVER buy at BVA again!
