AVOID

AVOID! This company took my payment for a camera that they dont have. They led me on for two weeks and then admitted that they dont have stock and may not get stock again. I asked for refund on the 27th of July...and still now on the 11th of August have not received my refund. My bank confirms that they have not made any attempt as yet to return my money...

Camera sky is a scam company

Camera sky is a scam company! they take your money and don't deliver the product... after chasing them up for a month, i requested a refund and this will somehow take them 10 business days to process... looking at other people who never received their refunds i may never see the money again... this is happening to all the people who order from them. Please never order from them.

In response to your reply, this is PR garbage... if you guys were at all a legit company, I would have my lenses or my refund... both of which I don't have after a month... I have gotten this response for the last month with no help or answer to any question Ive asked...

Very disappointed!

Hi I'm Robert! My order #1100066856.
It's definitely disappointing experience to trust this website. I expected my order to received yesterday because it's my son's 1st birthday celebration. But, until now I haven't received any updates if where my item is. Hopefully, I could hear any reply from them soon.

Do not use camera sky

Ordered a camera on the 12 July paid the extra postage and still haven't received my camera and it's the 27 th of July . An absolute scam should not be aloud to trade emailed on 3 occasions and same computerised email back , don't even bother trying to ring them as they leave you on hold . Do not use this company I wish I hadn't so so so annoyed that they think they can just take people's money

This horrlble business extremely …

Camerasky is extremely horrible for customers. I want such idiot emails from them.
They did not send the item even 4 weeks after they confirmed the transferring money .
Even more I wanted to change the address due to too late delivery. They made only auto reply to customers. After 3 weeks, I strongly wanted the cancellation of the order . It also took a week. After then, Camera sky did not make the refund !!!
Seriously, I am thinking this issue how sove a d get back the money more than 400 dollors.
Still Camerasky sends auto reply only for near 8 weeks!
To get a refund, I should need to undergo legal process.! Please don't trust this business. This situation is Just Hell!

I really hope those idiots at Camera …

I really hope those idiots at Camera sky read this. I bought a $2000 tripod on the 14th of June from Camera sky. I paid for priority shipping so I would get my item straight away.
2 days later I get an email saying the item is out of stock (didn't say this on their website) and I had to wait till June 26th for them to receive the item.
They then tell me even though they receive the item on June 26th they wont ship it till July 3rd - even though I paid priority shipping.

It is now Friday July 7th. I have sent them an email pretty much asking where is my item as I have received no tracking information, no shipping email notification, nothing!

I am beyond mad. Do not by from this place - doesn't matter if it's more expensive elsewhere save your money.

ALL OF THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE

CAMERASKY, i ordered a camera and lense from you 2 weeks ago now and have only had stalling and no replies.
THE PRESTON SHOP FRONT DOES NOT EXIST.
Waited for more than one hour on multiple occasions on the phone line to find out where my order is.

I needed this camera for an event today and it has not arrived in time.
I have just requested an immediate refund of my AUD$559.69.. If i do not hear back from you soon i will immediately be launching legal action with the Australian government.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Literally the worst company I've ever dealt with.
As others have already mentioned - they'll take your money and NEVER deliver your purchase.
I have been waiting almost a MONTH - just for my refund!
I made my order 6 weeks ago, and was promised an expected 2 – 5 business days for delivery.
I've spent hours just attempting to get an update about my refund of by calling, emailing, going on live chat and Facebook messenger - and no one can give me any clarity on when I will get my money back! AVOID!

This is the worst company Ive ever …

This is the worst company Ive ever dealt with they take your money for items which are not in stock then use stalling tactics to prevent a refund being given. DON'T deal with them.
Look them up on the NSW government site there is a warning not to deal with them because of their shoddy practices.

Worst internet purchasing experience ever

Bought a Sigma camera lens which wasn't delivered. Cancelled order and was told refund would take 10 working days. Over a week later received an email saying product had been sent. Tried ringing the company but no answer after one hour. Tried a second time, same thing. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

I also had nightmares with this group

I also had nightmares with this group, it took around 6 weeks of constant emails and phone calls to receive my money after cancelling my order because after 2 months of waiting they told me I could be waiting another month or more. Good luck to anyone that deals with them.

It has been months and months and this is still ongoing - we just want our money back! We personally dropped off the leanse in Preston (after being told for months their courrier would come and get it) and now they have sent it to Hong Kong but we still do not have our money back! Fraudulent business - sold me shoddy goods then claimed I'd voided the warranty

NSW Fair Trading has specifically warned consumers against dealing with Digital Skies Group, which operates as both Camera Sky and Android Enjoyed. Wish I had known!

Bought a camera lens (generic box, no documentation, flimsy rear lens cap) where the plastic lens mount cracked the second time I mounted it on the camera (have done professional photo work for many years and changed lenses a staggering number of times without a single issue).

So, naturally, contacted Camera Sky customer service about the product, and that's when the real fun began. To start, they repeatedly ignored or fobbed off messages for three weeks until I told them I was opening a complaint against them with NSW Fair Trading. Then, once they'd received notice of the complaint, they didn't ask for further information or offer to inspect the product (as would be due diligence on a warranty claim) but instead sent a blanket email stating 'WARRANTY CLAIM DENIED' followed by a list of reasons citing (and I quote) both 'water damage' and 'act of god'.

Asked them what exactly they were talking about, bringing up Australian Consumer Law, and they suddenly back-pedalled, offering to reimburse me for a repair done at my own expense. Told them I'd be happy to if they'd coordinate payment with the repair outlet directly, and the offer vanished (as I'm sure they had no intention of 'reimbursing' anything at all).

I then got a series of squirrelly emails from higher-ups in the company stating that 'we have a different warranty policy about repairs and replacements', at which point I reminded them that their 'policy' has absolutely no bearing on their legal responsibilities under Australian Consumer Law. Only at *this*point did they offer to inspect the item, but that I would have to pay $60 in shipping to have their 'experts' do the inspection.

I told them neither their official history of consumer fraud nor their incredibly shady behaviour under the course of our correspondence led me to trust them to evaluate the lens, or to give them another cent, preferring instead to dispute the charge directly with my bank.

I dealt with Digital Skies Group and wish that I hadn't. Don't make the same mistake.

Should havea 0 star option

After placing an order on December 10 and paying express shipping. Finally received what I ordered today January 10. When I rang them on December 20 to see where my item was they had no idea and then informed that it may take up to three weeks to arrive. Finally discovered that the item was lost. And notified them on the 22 December. And was told a replacement will be sent. Rang again on the 28 December to see when I should be getting the email with tracking number was told they were still waiting on another department (something that is continually told ) finally received the product 3 weeks after it should of been here and when discussing compensation for all the delays. The response is we replaced it for free and that's all we will do. (Not really free when I paid for express shipping and insurance) absolutely pathetic never order from these scum bags

Phantom 4 battery dead on arrival

Camerasky are an illegal distributor of DJi products and will rip you off. Here is a reply I got from Sophie at Dji regarding a faulty battery delivered with my drone:

I am sorry that according to our warranty policy, we're unable to provide warranty service for your unit in our AU repair center. It's recommended to contact CameraSky and they need to take the responsibility for the product purchased from him.

I personally truly understand your feeling, while please also understand that DJI needs to guarantee our official dealer's profit. And if you can get a refund from CameraSky, it's recommended to purchase the DJI product from DJI online store or official dealer.

My advice: STAY AWAY FROM CAMERASKY they will rip you off!

Scammers - DO NOT USE

I, like others here, foolishly bought from this business without checking out all of the reviews. They claim to be Australian, but ship all product from Hong Kong, meaning they offer delivery times they cannot meet, offer no local warranty, are not authorised sellers, and you will be subject to import taxes on purchases over $1000 - none of this is spelled out. They will not refund, instead giving excuses about the Finance Team taking 1-2 weeks. Please read the NSW Fair Trading public warning if in doubt.

STAY AWAY FROM CAMERASKY

I bought a CF Card from them in August. It doesnt work, cannot download the photo's from it. The communication and customer service is one of the worst I have ever experienced.
All you get is emails saying they will reply in 48hrs......15 days later I had to email them again.
Up til yesterday, 3 months later, the item was picked up and still no refund etc.
I need to buy a new camera. Even though they are the cheapest, I certainly will not deal with crowd EVER again, and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone. STAY AWAY FROM CAMERASKY !!!

Biggest Scam Site on the Internet!

They make claims on their site that are not true. Payments take forever to clear (if they ever do), contacting them is virtually impossible. All you get are scripted apologies and false hope timelines (our finance team will get back to us in 48hrs...I was hoping it would be 48 earth hours...guess not). Now they are also claiming that the NAB site is experiencing issues with online payments. I contacted the NAB and they said that there is no such issue!

If you want to throw money away and never see it again, these guys are the site to go to. If you want a camera etc...go elsewhere.

They are top 5 on the Department of Fair Trading complaints list.

You have been warned!

Not happy

We ordered a pair of binoculars shipping was supposed to take 2-5 days nothing from them until I queried why it hadn't been shipped after one week only to be told it would be shipped the next day. Email arrived next day stating one of my boxes was dented (I only ordered one thing )and they now had to wait for another shipment and didn't know when that would be... I have since sent 4 emails the last 3 cancelling order and requesting my money back and have had no reply to any of my communication. Finally got my money back though not without a lot of persistence. Stay away from camera sky.
