Awful

Awful. My reg plate didn’t register and so had to put in the time I got there and out which I deliberately over estimated and paid the 2.90 fee on cc. Now got a pay now 60 pound fine or 100 after 28days. Can only appeal, no customer services. Says have to attach evidence as can’t later be added.

Parking fine for terminally ill man......

My elderly neighbours have just received a parking ticket, they parked in the car park at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, Essex. They have to go every month to collect his chemo drugs as he has terminal cancer. His Blue Badge was displayed, as usual, but now they have this damn ticket, it's hard enough having terminal cancer without these money grabbers sending their fine. I've contacted 2 local MP's in the hope they can help as although there is an email address to contact these con merchants it's not usable, disgusting.

I have to agree with all the "Bad"…

I have to agree with all the "Bad" reviews and one star is way too generous. No interest in any appeals process whatsoever. You get the feeling they gleefully wait for the next appeal to say "your appeal has been unsuccessful". Wish I had more time and energy to make this outlandish behaviour and unkind behaviour public. My story is very similar to the poor family that posted on the 10th December "Cancer patient gets 50 pounds parking fine" (thoughts with you). Let's hope the media do pick up on this.

Don't bother to appeal, just how they like it!

Don't waste you time appealing, the standard reply appears to be, "you have been unsuccessfully", along with a load of conditions that put you off further appeals and gives you absolutely no hope of success....very disappointing, unprofessional and hugely frustrating and I guess, just how they want it!

Parked at Shepherd Street in Liverpool, though I had done everything right, used my card and got what I though was a ticket...later transpired that it was a receipt to say the transaction was "void"......why would a ticket machine do this!!??. It was dark, I was in a hurry and I genuinely thought I had a valid ticket. I received a £100 fine a week later.

They did not entertain my appeal, even though it was a genuine mistake and I feel partly their fault through their confusing payment system.

I was going to appeal to POPLA, but they look just as bad....no phone number....don't inspire any confidence that they would be impartial or help.....indeed just feel they are in partnership with CPP...so felt it wasn't worth bothering. Very sad state of affairs.

The operation is very unprofessional, dare I say "cowardly". They don't have a phone number and the staff are too scared and/or poorly trained to talk to people, and simply hide behind their website...infuriating !!

I feel as though I have been scammed out of £100...(£60 for paying early?!) ...thank you so much Car Parking Partnership!!!!

Parking at Colchester Hospital.

I parked at Colchester Hospital on 05/01/22.
I am not a resident of Colchester and am used to the parking system at Wansbeck hospital in Northumberland where the ticket barrier will not open until I have paid.
When I went to Colchester hospital I drove up to the exit expecting to pay at what appeared to be a pay facility, instead, the barrier simply opened, I then drove through, not really understanding why it had opened.
At no time did I wish to avoid paying for parking and yet the system at Colchester Hospital seems to be geared towards extracting as much as possible from motorists.
This company has no interest in simply collecting parking fees when they can collect £70 each time simply by not maintaining their equipment properly.
In my view they are simply crooks.

Not helpful at all

I have parked in shepherd street car park right through pandemic as it was close enough to be in work at hospital at short notice I pay 9 pound each visit as I do 12/half hour shifts 4 times a week , I have paid hundreds over this period and this particular day I pressed the step up which takes you through the hours and prices and I accidentally stopped at £7.50 instead of £9.00 and they are charging me £100 pound for going under by 1.50, I have appealed and sent supporting evidence but lost and now have to pay the full charge, tried to get in touch with this company personally but emails get bounced back and I’m having no joy, I really don’t think it’s fair as they can tell over the 2 years I have never under paid before so it was a genuine mistake.

This company can at best described a legalised C***KS

This company can at best described as c***ks operating a very boarder line legal operation with both the consent of the NHS and our government. I thought I had paid at the ticket machine at Colchester hospital, tried twice as no receipt was issued then on third attempt it just offered me long term parking so assumed all was OK. When I got to the barrier to exit it allowed me to exit so thought this confirmed my payment had been accepted! A few days later I received a demand for £70 / £35 if paid immediately. Two days later upon a further visit to the same hospital the machines were all sectioned off with tape as they were faulty!
After battling it out with them for several weeks and as I could not provide proof of attempting to pay I decided, due to my having had an accident, just to pay the £35 as I could not afford the time to fight it further.
However it raises a much wider issue as to how a 'PRIVATE COMPANY' is allowed by law to gain my personal details from the DVLA, albeit they pay them a fee I believe which makes the DVLA a party to this crime!

I registered at the office with my Blue…

I registered at the office with my Blue Badge on 28/11/2021, and on Saturday received a Parking charge notice, no mention of being in a disabled bay with a valid badge on display,
I can’t appeal unless I write to them as it’s impossible to call them as no contact number is available,
They profess to being in the BPA but when I tried to complain about the illegal notice they are not on the BPA list?
I will now have to revisit the hospital to find out what will happen next, as they ask for original documentation but state I may not get them back?
I have also tried to fill in the form but the ref number is invalid? If it is invalid how have I received this notice?

Cancer patient gets 50 pounds parking fine

On behalf of the patient who was meant to be discharged today we offer our apologies for staying in the parking bay too long. (Obviously a major crime despite clearly displaying a blue badge which is issued to assist sick/disabled people with transport parking. Unfortunately the patient is not able to correspond with you (carparkingpartnership) as they are dying with cancer on level 7 Margery Warren ward King College Hospital, London. I have explained to the person they have broken the parking rules and this requires punishment. Although the patient said "they will endeavour to do better next time" - I explained there is no need to worry because there is no next time.

Please process the £50 parking fine as soon as possible because the bank will put a stop on the credit card soon. Standard operating procedure when a dead person is involved. We will feel very bad if we adversely affect your profits. You would then need to go to court to get the bank to process the payment through a dead person’s account. Quite ironic really that you would need to take on another psychotic, psychopathic, money grabbing business enterprise. Would like to be a fly on the wall to watch that....

Please buy the Daily Mail newspaper over the next few days because they have agreed to make this event a front page special. Apologies for not being able to give you the exact date yet as these things take a few days to organise. I’m sure you understand. I would be very disappointed if you were to miss out on the free publicity and your 15 minutes of fame. But let's get your publicity going with Trust Pilot and Google reviews in the mean time.

8 Dec 2021:
I have since received an email from Carparkingpartnership notifying that the fine has been cancelled.

These guys are cheats to say the least

These guys are cheats to say the least. Trustless, stupid, ruthless and careless company. They issues me a parking charge for parking in Charing Cross Hospital. These bays were free until this month. No warning was issued that charges will resume from this month and then I was issued back to back charges on Monday and Thursday. Worst thing is that they did not display parking ticket on Monday and sent me charge through letter for Monday. Had I known that charges have resumed from Monday, I would not have parked there on Thursday. On Thursday, there was a parking ticket on the car and I payed the charges and today received a letter for charge for Monday. Had to pay double amount when I could have just payed once if I would have known on Monday regarding the resumption of charges. This is plain cheating. Shame that these private parking companies operate on car parks at such important places as NHS hospitals.

Daylight Robbery

I accidentally paid for my parking at my local hospital twice as the sun was so blinding I thought the machine said unsuccessful. I entered my reg in again and it said £4 to pay so I did. Checked my bank and 2 payments had come out. If you want yo phone them they charge you £6.00 which is terrible and they do not make it easy to claim your money back only take it. Companies like yours are a disgrace!!!

Wish I could give them negative star

Wish I could give them negative star, but not an option. Absolute scammers. Take your photo going in and coming out and start charging you from then. I was late in paying at the machine. I sat in my car for 7 min before driving off to have my lunch due to my medical condition. Absolutely disgusting company. You cannot get through to them. Avoid this car park as they are completely rip off. I appealed for being few minutes late due to my medical condition and reply was £100:00 fine. How disgusting? Just make you wonder how low human beings can go when it comes to money. One of the best example.
