If I could give less that 1 star I…

If I could give less that 1 star I would. This is a scam DO NOT USE. My phone was in perfect condition, not a single scratch, but like many others on here, they came back and said "scratches on bezel" offer reduced from £190 to £82. I tried to hit the reject offer link, to be met with an error! Wish I read these reviews first, so angry with myself.

Scammers and DO NOT Use

Scammers and DO NOT Use. I sold a prefect phone and was offered £257 to receive an email to say you are now offering me £120 because of GRADE C WITH MORE THAN MODERATE SCRATCHES ON THE BEZEL.
I have photo evidence there wasn't a mark on that phone as always have good quality phone cases and protector on it at all times.
I am just gutted as wished I never used them as like a lot of us I sold as I needed the money.

My review is not red

I thought i would put a review on here that wasn't red ... Only issue I had was it took a week from the time I accepted the offer to the money being put into my account , please remember guys that your phone is recycled for parts and not sold on as a used complete phone . I had scratches on the bezel and my phone was maybe worth £50 more than what I got , people have to make money and I guess it's a we all have to eat around the table .... That's how the world works

AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND REPORT

I wish I checked here 1st. This company are scammers. My s21 fully incased no damage or marks. Offered £200.00 and when recieved told me by screen had burn and was faulty. Offered me £40.00 or pay £20.00 to return. Will definitely be taking up with trading standards.
Website has no proper T&c's and confirmation of these and the offer are not sent you via email so there is no paper trail. I did get them to confirm company details so this supports my case.

Trading as
TECH UNIVERSE LIMITED
TRADING FROM UNIT 4. 41 CAMBRIDGE STREET, SALFORD M7 1UY
Please file complaints with Action Police Fraud, Trading Standards and HMRC
DO NOT PAY ANYTHING VIA BANK TRANSFER TO GET YOUR PHONE/GOODS BACK
If you search for company you can see directors name and London address.

****if your phone was on a contract you can call the provider and get the imei number on your phone blocked ***

Avoid this company, they’re scammers and thieves!!!😡😡😡

Sent my iPhone XR to them as they quoted me £130 yet when they emailed me to confirm the price I’d get I was informed that due to ‘excessive scratches on the bezel’ I’d only be offered £49 !!! Now I have photographic evidence that this is a blatant lie and also they’re asking for £20 to return my phone. I have emailed them regarding this and registered my utter disgust at their blatant lies. I’m also reporting them to Action Fraud, Trading Standards and the police for theft and fraud and I’m also getting legal advice as well. I wish I’d read the reviews on Trustpilot before I sent off my phone to this bunch of crooks and of the reviews I’ve read, not one has been positive and all of the people have been scammed by this unscrupulous company !!! Avoid at all costs !!!

An update, after several emails and threats to report this company to the police, i finally got a revised offer for my iPhone XR from the £49 they originally offered back up to the £130 I was originally told I would receive. Thankfully this amount was paid into my account yesterday afternoon and quite frankly I was surprised to get anything. I will never ever deal with these crooks again and in future will always check out reviews on TrustPilot before I decide to use a particular company. I implore anyone who's thinking of selling either a phone or any other tech not to use this one, as they are all crooks and scammers who will make derisory offers and make you fight tooth and nail to get your money or your device back !!!😡😡😡

Scam "Scratch on Bezel"

The company reduce the price offered on the two phones sent by the same reason "scratch on bezel" without being able to give a image of the problem. As this reason has been given to numerous customers as a way to reducing the price it is a complete SCAM.The values given on the web for the phones never achieved. A company to be avoided.

Avoid

Avoid, wished I had read the reviews first.

Online my iPhone 12 in good condition is worth £230 iPhone X in fair condition £112, when they received them they offered me £114 for both I queried it & they said as iPhone 12 has battery life of less than 85% it’s not worth what they say on website, so I decided to accept the offer as less hassle for me & 4 weeks later I’m still awaiting my funds.

Update after threatening them with police & trading standards my funds got paid into my bank, still avoid using them

What a bunch of con artists

What a bunch of con artists. Scammers. You won’t get what they offered you , you won’t get any money at all tbh. Got my old IPhone 13. Which obviously I’ve lost now and not answering any emails. Wished I’d used a more reputable company. Absolutely fuming. That site should be closed down by the ombudsman and not allowed to trade and someone held accountable for there actions by the police as this is classed as theft 🤬🤬🤬

Please stay away from this company they will not answer your email there is no way of contacting them through a number and they will change the price of the phone no matter what the condition. They sent me 2 offers 1 to accept it and the other to decline no matter how many times I tried to decline it it would not go through and now they won’t respond my emails I have lost out on £500

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY….only wish I had read the reviews first as it seems I was caught out, like so many others!

iPhone 12 collected in good time although the offer of £235 was not honoured and a reason given to so many others on Trustpilot was given about scratches on the bezel (wish I had read reviews first) luckily I had taken photos!

After a nearly two week battle and threats of Trading Standards and the police my offer increase from £120 to £144 and finally £175 which then accepted, around 8 emails and 5 days for them to pay but again only because I mentioned contacting Trading Standards, the Police and Action Fraud for breaking their own terms and conditions of payment and the theft of my phone.

Please do not use this company. SCAMMERS!

They promised me £520 for my Samsung Galaxy Ultra S23 in great condition and they have came back and only offered me £200 which I declined and told me I'm not getting my phone back unless I pay them £20 and are now ignoring my emails. I will be seeking legal advice as this is theft and fraud.

Was quoted £350 for a basically brand new iPhone 13 only had a few scuff marks and all original parts including screen etc
They then come back with an atrocious alternative offer for £130 odd saying that it doesn't meet the criteria that I had stated when filling out the form
After my complaint they upped it to £210 still well below what they quoted me the first time
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they will low ball you
If I could give a 0 star review I would the only redeeming thing was the quick communication
Stay well away from this company you'll get better offers elsewhere like e-bay

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star, they offered £235 for my iPhone 12, then suddenly offered me £120, claiming it had faults and was a grade c, I’d taken numerous photos of proof of the condition, it didn’t have a scratch, and the screen was never with procreation, I’ve reported them to greater Manchester police, trading standards, and will look into action fraud, they ignore your emails, no phone number works, and apparently they come under other names, like tech mania, amongst others, the full address is tech mania group
Cambridge street, Manchester, M7 1UY, unit 4 or 41, I won’t hesitate to take matters into my own hands and turn up face to face, and I’ll smash the shop up to bits, and I’ll tell the police when I arrive, I really don’t care, I had a feeling they were dodgy and if anything more angry with myself, the fact that scum like these are out scamming hard working people or from what I’ve read, young kids, makes me sick, someone will probably burn the shop to the ground, look on direct gov, they are being threatened with all sorts. All I can say is don’t use these and like others have put, should of found trust pilot first and read what others said

Scammers

I would not recommend anyone use this company I sent in 3 X box’s and an iPad told 360 on the quote then they offered 179 I’ve tried to contact them several times to see why the price drastically dropped I only did as they offered a good price it was for my son for money towards a PlayStation. The x box series a I sent in was virtually brand new they offered 120 for that so I basically must of got 59 pound for two x box’s and an iPad all full working totally gutted. Nobody is answering my emails nothing. DO NOT USE!
