Awful company took my phone
Awful company took my phone. Haven’t sent me any money hasn’t sent my phone back. Now I can’t contact them either
Before sending my phone I took pictures…
Before sending my phone I took pictures of it and it was perfect, as it had always been in a case. They said it was marked on the bezel and offered half of the value agreed. To have it returned they wanted a payment of £20 !! I would not trust them with a payment on my credit card and so they have ripped me off!
They are nothing but dishonest scammers.
I wish I had read the other reviews and avoided this crooked company. The owner is Ali Mohammed Patel and phone number is 07577 988145
I am continuing my claim with Action Fraud to recover the remainder of the phone’s value.
Scammer don’t use them
Scammer don’t use them. I sent them my iPhone 13 in perfect condition I took photos of the phone and the packaging. They are trying to tell me the bevel edge is badly scratched when I know it’s not. The £285 first offered went right down to £120. Obviously I’ve refused it and want my phone back of which I need to pay them £20 when they send me proof of postage or collection as well as my phone and the box I sent it to them in (the phone’s original box) I’m not sending them anything. I doubt I’ll get my phone back then I’ll report them to the fraud department in Salford where the phone was sent

Got stung like so many hundred more i guess. I have filed report with great detail on the GMP web site. Seems he has taken the web site down and companies house is not looking to good as well.
Scam - Stole my iPhone 13
I have experience the same, I was offered £330 for my iPhone 13 which was more that the others offered, they responded and told me my phone was in poor condition.
Not saying it was brand new but it was looked after and put in a phone case with screen protector at all times.
I have had numerous emails with counter offers and I rejected them all, during this time I have been sent a link that they wanted me to click to pay them £20 to return my phone. I completed that and when I clicked to submit my payment it come up with like a code sequence error and during the time it was processing it was doing something unusual like lots of digits/letters would appear that made it looked like it was processing.
As I have seen on here, I am not likely to get my phone back that they stole, but I have reported to a fraud company online in the hope that something can come of this.
But the people behind cashyourphones is nothing but a shameless thief that has been allowed to get away with committing a crime.
Not sure what else I can do, I have all the proof of delivery to them etc.
Any advice is good advice at this point.
How can I get my £1500 phone back from…
How can I get my £1500 phone back from this fraudulent company?
It’s now been going on since 4th July 2024.
No ways to contact them.
An absolute scam!
An absolute scam! Avoid! Send your phones off, offered ridiculously low amount after a decent payment offered online. They counter offer and then don't pay out at all! There is now no website, no email or any way of getting in touch to claim your money for your tech. They should be prosecuted.
Sent my phone on the 19th Sept
Sent my phone on the 19th Sept, site been took done , no contact from them , stolen my phone owes me £140, been in touch with police , stay clear, cashyourphones
Scammed just like everyone else!
Scammed just like everyone else!! Criminals.
Surely we can group together and do something about this??
A well thought out SCAM
A well thought out SCAM. This "company" now appears to have disappeared. I would advise everyone scammed by Alibhai Mohammed Patel to report to Action Fraud, and anyone who is thinking of cashing in their phone to avoid any company this individual is involved in! At the moment, that seems to be Tech Mania and Tech Universe. You will never see your tech, or the money its actually worth, again
So I took wish I had looked at reviews…
So I took wish I had looked at reviews first and unfortunately had the same experience as everyone else. I sent an Xbox one with two controllers and a galaxy tab A9 all I'm good condition well you know how the story goes..... Anyway ended up with £15 but have to been blocked much like everyone else. I'm just interested if anyone knows is there something we can do as a collective here ? Maybe all put a joint case in to a smalls claims court against the company ? It's not my area of expertise but just seeing if anyone knows ? And again we may not get anything out of it but just to course this man / company a fraction of the agrovation we have all had would suit me fine ! Thoughts anyone ? Thanks
Absolute scam!!!
This company is a scam same as everyone else offered £400 then told some rubbish about scratches on the bezel and offered £100. However I managed to find our friends phone number and contact him direct. He did care but greater Manchester police have been great and whilst they couldn’t get my phone back (presume he had already sold it on) I did manage to end up with almost what I was originally offered. And just in case anyone need is his number is 07577 988145
I wish I had seen these reviews prior…
I wish I had seen these reviews prior to sending my Xbox one. I can see a pattern here. They quote you a price and then claim a fault with the equipment. Afterwards they ask for £20 fee for sending it back. By this time they would have manipulated with the original parts and you think whether it’s even worth getting it back. The guy named Ali signed for the delivery and I had to send numerous emails to invoke a reply. Such pathetic loser who wants to earn a dishonest living. Please do not waste your money on these scumbags. Absolutely disgusting.

Sent an iPad which had only been used a handful of times so in immaculate condition they originally offered £230, but said upon inspection was in poor condition so renewed their offer to £130, I denied this, they reviewed it again and offered £154.80 I rejected this also. Now I can’t get my iPad back as they have removed their website and email.

Obviously a THIEF but I don't understand why a company such as UPS a worldwide company can assist by collecting sold articles and delivering same to scammers.

Same story sent 3 Nintendo switches, offered us £30 as apparently there were issues (there wasn't except for a crack in one screen)

I didn’t see the reviews until after sending my iPhone 11 which they said they would pay £145 for they offered £40 saying it wasn’t working when they received it, it was it perfect working order. After contacting them several times they have now blocked me so I can no longer email them. Please don’t use this company I really hope they get their comeuppance one day
