£169 off price for a 'damaged box' (which was in perfect condition when it left me)

I was offered £320 for a sealed and unused X-Box Series X in perfect condition. 2 days after sending it, I had a counter offer of £149 for a 'damaged box.'

There are 2 issues here:

1) The box wasn't damaged when I posted it.
2) Even if it was, that doesn't explain knocking £169 for a product that has seals intact on it.

I'm furious at having to pay £20 for the privilege of being ripped off by this company but hopefully this helps some others to not waste their money.

Not same day payment!

Advertise is false.
Best price on same day ? Three days I've been waiting from accepting. Accepted because I didn't want to pay £20 return fee. I did originally ask if they can refuse delivery after I read their reviews, I got a reply saying the relevant department will be notified. This wasn't the case. Since then I've not received a reply for 3 days.
Chased this so called "same day payment" as I heard nothing after I accepted. Day 2 still nothing. Day 3 got a reply saying the relevant department will be notified. Buy hours later still no payment. Will leave it a few more days if nothing I will go via small claims court.

Hi read reviews first 🙏

Hi, if you have sent your technology to this company do not give up, they are wanting you to stop chasing. It's taken 3 months of emails and from promising £235 for iPhone 12 which was £40 more than anyone else. I didn't read the reviews I just went with the company trying to get my daughter the most money for her phone as she wanted to donate it to her and her brothers brain tumour charity. They came back with £135 as it was damaged however I had video evidence before I sent it that it was perfect. I refused the offer so they said I could pay £20 for the return of the phone which I refused to pay. I asked them to offer me more money. Offers went up in increments of £10 till £165. They said that was the final offer which again I refused threatened with trading standards etc but they are not bothered. I left it 2 weeks then emailed again and they came back with an offer of £200. I accepted straight away as all other companies were only offering £195 I had to do a further 4 emails to chase the money but after 4weeks the money went into the bank. They are hoping you will give up but don't you will get it eventually.. GOOD LUCK or even better stay away

Sent Ipad Pro 12.9 & Ipad pencil which was brand new at christmas. My son used it twice. They originally offered £510 on website, i accepted. A courier then appeared at my door with no notice or email trace of good collected. Luckily i have ring door bell and asked courier to confirm what he was colleting on paper. Then received a counter offer from company which says MODERATE damage.. Then after refusing and demanding items back. I contacted Sction Fraus Manchester and logged complaint who advised me NOT to use link sent to pay for return of goods. I have an appt with them in 2 days for further action and hopefull have this scam company closed. The advised me they have powers to convenscate my goods from sham company. Wass scared, but all went well

Just feeling that I need to leave a review - as I was really scared after reading those here.
As usual I forgot to check reviews, and sent my laptop to them. Then I got the counter offer, which was smaller but it was my right to decline or accept. I accepted it. And then I read reviews here about not having payment received and etc. I said “goodbye” to my money 😂
But fortunately, money were transferred. A bit later than expected but it was done.

So I would advise the company to have a better customer service & clearer website. Otherwise experience was good

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !
They are a complete scam. They have taken my Apple Mac and not issued payment. They have been reported to Police and Trading Standards. They will not issue you with the price they quote online. When you send your item to them, they will respond saying its faulty. My quote was £640 online then offered £339 but their offers are pointless because they won't pay you anyway. Don't try to pay the £20 to get your item back either, the link is false. Complete and utter scam. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Con of a company

Stupidly sold my phone to this so called "company" without looking at reviews as wanted it gone. Tried to sell my S21. Bearly a scratch on my device. They valued it initially at £190 as it was good condition. They have claimed there are an array of scratches and valued it at £90? To make it worse I even have to make the payment of £20 just to return my device back to me as I sure as hell am not accepting that poor offer. Scam company do NOT use.

This company is a scam- AVOID AT ALL COST (or it will cost you)

This company is a scam, do not use them. Ever.

Between January and February 2024, I sent them two tablets and a Samsung galaxy S22 ultra in immaculate condition. They offered a slightly higher price than everyone else.

A week later, they emailed stating the items were damaged and offered half the price (apparently, there were 'scratches around the bezel'). I accepted their offer for the tablets, but challenged for the phone repeatedly over 3 weeks, and each time the offer price got higher. When I threatened to report their actions as a crime, they made an offer that was still £80 less than agreed. I did not accept it, requesting the full amount or my phone back.

I found a transaction I did with the same company two years ago, with the same excuse for not paying the agreed amount (at that time I accepted it without thinking).

At this time, almost 3 months later, I have received no money- not for the tablets (which I clicked on the 'agree to lower price' link) nor my phone. I have had to report the matter to the police.

Do not let their apparently good prices fool you- this is a scam company to be avoided like COVID (or the plague).

Should have read this prior to sending…

Should have read this prior to sending my phone but alas like many unfortunate others it is more a reactionary tale.

I sent my S23 ultra in pristine condition, only to be met by an email stating my phone was in Grade C condition due to moderate scratch on the bezel and that they have offered me £259 in return.

I categorically deny that assessment.

I requested to send the phone back, however upon clicking the decline link, I instead was met with an email that I have accepted their offer.

This is in fact a complete fraud and I'm surprised they're still operating.

All of us affected should at least get
together and report these thieves.

Please register here and report these scammers to Action Fraud Police (Google their website). If there is a massive response then they will be taken down.

Just an update.. They have not responded to any of my emails. There is no phone number to reach them either. This effectively is a theft and I've reported them as such.

First they offered £300 for my iphone…

First they offered £300 for my iphone 13 128gb which had a little scratch on the back which that company had excepted as part of the quote. I sent my phone on 20th December, the idiot at the company then said it had a speaker problem and tried offering £75 which I declined. then I was offered £85 to accept which I again declined, after weeks upon weeks of moaning at them I finally get it back on 30/04/2024 and now I find he has macilously damaged the screen. what is this muppets problem.

Worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. Send your phone on a buy it figure which is reasonable then be counter offered 4 weeks later after numerous emails because they have no landlines which is a red flag straight away, then they contact you without any knowledge of your previous emails disgusting behaviour somebody is getting very rich and should be shut down whole episode has taken 6 weeks when it should of taken 6 days max

So I made the mistake of taking this…

So I made the mistake of taking this company at face value after reading “we pay the most”. I looked to recycle my IPhone 13 after my contractual obligation ended. The phone had been looked after and was in A1 condition. I looked at this company and they offered a price of £310 for my phone. I followed their instructions and sent the phone to them only to be offered a derisory offer of £149 due to their inspection locating scratches on the phone that were not there. The phone was mint. I declined the offer, they returned a second offer ( their top) offer £178:80. I declined again and asked for the phone back. They then topped their previous best offer with a further offer of £210. I again declined and tried to pay the required £20 to return the phone and the payment failed. I’m sure this is set up to fail. They then ask how much you’ll accept stating that they will go no more than £265. Despite my clicking on the decline their offer link it stated that I couldn’t do this as I’d apparently accepted their offer which is totally untrue. I then later that evening had a further email stating great news your payment has been processed and is on its way. Bearing in mind I’d never accepted their offers, had tried to get my phone back and had been unsuccessful in trying this, their link didn’t allow you to decline I was apprehensive about my chances of getting anything.
The payment did hit my account that evening, not however for the offered £265. It was the initial offer of £149 that was paid. I’ve tried repeatedly to make contact only to get back in response, when they can bed bothered an email stating that most of their systems are automated and that payments made can’t be reversed as they’ve been made and the phone recycled.
I’m still fighting. My mistake is that I didn’t read their reviews. That’s my fault.
Don’t deal with this scamming company. They are the worst for contact, there are no phone numbers and never a name to give you a point of contact.
Absolutely terrible company and honestly I don’t know how they sleep at night. They are not worthy of the one star but seemingly that is the lowest you can rate a company. Believe me they are not worth any stars
