Very good service from all the team at carterton especially Steven Buchanan who was always at the end of the phone and happy to help.
He sold the house for us in 3 days and although proved to be tricky and drawn out this was no-fault of his chancellors or even ours.came from further down the chain but Steven was very helpful right till the end. Thankyou

Alice Rench was a joy to work with - professional, approachable, and kind. She made the process so much easier, and, to be honest, I wish all people in the house-moving process ended up more like her.

My journey into the property sale market was not without issues, although i suppose that is the case for most, Chancellors were very professional and most part very efficient. Certainly the final phase of my experience with Chancellors I could not fault, excellent communication and good advice and guidance when required. First phase was good although buyers withdrew their offer at the very last minute (no fault to Chancellors). My main and the only issue is with the middle phase of my experience, the sale of the property was delayed by at least six months due to a buyer, that who was known to Chancellors and had expressed an interest in any properties in the area, firstly couldnt get a mortgage then delayed further when a relative couldnt originally muster the funds then,after remortgaging properties took out the wrong mortgage, this took about six months of promises that never materialised. Better scrutiny and financial checks of potential buyers is my only complaint. This tarnished my otherwise good experience with Chancellors.

Would not recommend. Messed up the marketing of our property big time. Do yourself a favour go else where

Alice has been amazing from the start as I am not the easiest of customers!! Regardless of the fact that I never answer my phone hardly ever call back and keep changing appointments!! She is relentless in her efforts to keep me up to date with all that I need and anything that might be of interest, and does so with a polite and welcoming telephone manner, never sounds annoyed when in actual fact if I were her I would be quite fed up with me by now! She is forthright in her delivery and as such I can feel confident that I know where I am at.
Alice is a super cool dudette! - does not fit the usual posterior of an estate agent which is great!

I find it hard to trust estate agents, usually I feel like there’s always a hidden agenda.

If only more were like Alice. Warms and inviting, not overbearing and definitely not over pressuring.

Knowledgeable about the market, if she didn’t know something, she was honest and came back to us with the answer.

She was also flexible with when we were able to view properties. Having a time constraint (work and kids) she worked around us as best she could.

I Would highly recommend.

If only there were more estate agents like Alice!!!
