Don’t use Cheap Caribbean for anything!! They gave away our airline credit to someone with the same last name, but different first name! We got an email saying we had until midnight on the 31st to use it, but when we went to use it, we found out they gave it away!!! After talking to them everyday for a week, they told me it expired on the 30th, then today they said it expired in February!!!! I still have the email saying it expired on the 31st at midnight!!! They will not give me my $413 back!!! They won’t even let me talk to a supervisor!!!! Be warned!!!! They will give your credit away and change the expiration date on you!! Don’t trust them with your money!

I don’t usually write reviews or say I’m never doing something again, but I’m never booking w/ you guys again!! And I will make sure my family and friends do the same! You guys have the worse customer service I have ever experienced!!! Your associates are always disconnecting calls after putting customers on hold for long, long extended periods of time and never doing what they “promise” or “guarantee”. I have a credit of $288.86 from a trip booked in 2020. Booked a new trip on Jan 29 2022, well ahead of my deadline to use my credits, and not only were they not applied to my trip after notes clearly say they should, they are now telling me I don’t even have any credits!!! I mean you guys are really just going to steal almost $300??? This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable. Not only will I be leaving negative reviews everywhere that I can find, I will also be contacting the Bureau of Better Business! Me and my family and friends have booked 5 or 6 trips with you, but moot anymore. This was it!!! After talking to numerous customer service agents over the past couple years, and being placed on long holds each time to be hung up on and given false promises and guarantees, I will make sure everyone I know, knows how I was treated and to not book with you guys ever again!!! As a company, you should strive for excellence and you have not even come close!!!

I purchased a vacation package to JA, and I made sure that I purchased the travel insurance as well since these are such uncertain times. At the time that I purchased the travel insurance, I made sure to check the option that would allow me to get 75% of my money back in the event that I could not go on the trip. I ended up not being able to go, and I notified them that I would like to receive 75% of my money back per the travel insurance agreement. Although I checked that option when I first bought it and reiterated it to multiple travel agents on the phone, they sent me travel credits that weren't even equal to 75% of what I paid for the trip. I specifically said to each and every travel agent that I spoke to regarding my refund, that per the travel agreement, "I do not want travel credits. I would like 75% of my money back." So, when I saw that they had completely disregarded the travel insurance agreement and what I told them each and every time we spoke regarding the transaction, I was very upset.
I didn't want to jump to conclusions, so although I was frustrated, I called them hoping that this was all just a mistake that could get resolved quickly. Per the travel insurance agreement, they are supposed to refund the money within 60-90 days. Mind you, it was well outside of the 90-day window at this point. But I calmed my frustration and explained to the agent what happened. He put me on hold for nearly 45 min to come back and tell me that they would be able to give me only 500 and something dollars. 75% of what I paid was 735 dollars. He offered no explanation as to why they would only be able to give me 500 something and not stick to the travel insurance agreement. I told him that this was unacceptable to me and that I needed to speak to management. I am a licensed attorney in my state and I don't like to throw that around, but I could clearly see that they were breaching the agreement for absolutely no reason. So, I had to escalate the situation.
It wasn't until after I told them that their actions constituted a breach of contract and misrepresentation and applying much pressure and getting hostile that they finally....after nearly 100 days, did what the hell they were supposed to do and GAVE ME MY MONEY BACK. It's a shame that this is what you have to do to get a company to do what they legally promised to do. The money, all 735 of it, finally came in my account yesterday, but I'm like damn. The fact that I had to fight tooth and nail and drop the fact that I am a licensed attorney and my bar number to let them know that I wasn't playing, is a crying shame. Corporations need to stop being greedy and dishonest and just do what they are supposed to do without the fear of legal action being pursued against them. I hate that I had to get that way, but it's the only way that I could get my money back. Needless to say, I won't be dealing with Cheap Con Artist Caribbean again in my life! That was the first and absolute last time! They lie and they TRIED to steal from me. The dishonesty and deception is absolutely disgusting.

BEWARE the issues you read are real. They will put you on hold for HOURS. My wife has spent 8 Days hours each day trying to get a credit and rebook. This company is HORRIBLE if you book with them you get what you deserve!! Stay away far away its not cheap if you get ripped off!!!
Worst customer service
Had an issue with the transportation from the airport to the hotel I had booked through cheap Caribbean. I was never able to get proper help as the issue kept going to different agents who would never read the initial context. Was a time sucker and a frustrating experience.

Just want to share a tip: DO NOT USE CHEAP CARIBBEAN TO BOOK A VACATION. Yes, it is cheap but if something goes wrong, you are looking at three hour waits on the phone just to get someone to pick up and then refer you to someone else. And if you want to cancel, if you haven't purchased the insurance, you get nothing back; if you have, you only get 75% back and minus the cost of the insurance, minus, this and minus that. This has been the worst experience of my life trying to rebook a trip with them. We had to cancel a trip in Nov 2021 due to my boyfriend needing surgery. We were given a travel credit and being charged a $400 "airline cancel fee". We separately called united airlines and they said they do not charge this - especially right now because of COVID. We have spent multiple hours and phone calls trying to rebook this trip and not lose money and its been impossible. Every time we ask for a manager, they say they are trying to get a hold of someone and then were on hold for another hour and they hang up on us. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!! ITS BEEN THE WORST AND THEY MAKE UP RULES TO STEAL YOUR MONEY

Worst experience ever and will NEVER use this company for my travel again. The service was terrible, cannot talk to the correct people to resolve the issue, only communicate via email with the "higher ups" and issue was never resolved. Had to end up paying more money at the hotel because the agent did not correct my reservation correctly due to their error. The vacation was stressful and I even had the trip protection just in-case, due to COVID, The agent had my reservation incorrect, had me arrive to a hotel but the hotel reservation wasn't until the next day in a foreign country. This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation after the loss of a loved one to get away for the holidays, however, it was the complete opposite. I lost money on this trip and this company did not do anything to help...what happened to customer satisfaction? Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use this company for your travel plans.

I recently traveled to Punta Cana with my husband and we booked our entire trip through Cheap Caribbean (for the 2nd time) and it went off flawless- again! I just want to say how nice it is that we can book EVERYTHING through your website- flight, airport transfers, hotel, excursions, and insurance. But then to have NO issues, twice now, is so awesome. We love that Amstar met us at the airport and ensured our safe transport to the resort, then met with us again at the resort to ensure our transport back, make sure we were doing well, and to book anything we needed to book. The final thing that really made it great was this- we unfortunately had to leave a day earlier than planned, I made one phone call to the Cheap Caribbean customer service and they were able to change our flight THAT DAY, as well as reschedule our transport to the airport with Amstar. This was amazing and unexpected- I was sure it would be a hassle to rearrange everything. Cheap Caribbean really makes traveling internationally as easy as possible and for that I am so thankful and I cannot wait to travel with Cheap Caribbean again!

Don’t use cheap Caribbean. They change your flight reservations at the last minute which will cause you a headache tying to plan your vacation. They do it to make more Money on your flights. You pick seats together and pay for upgrades then you don’t get them and they won’t refund you for the flight upgrades you pay for.

Cheap Caribbean is a nightmare to work with. We recently tried to cancel (with insurance) 2 of the 6 people scheduled for a trip. Instead, the CC “agent” cancelled our entire reservation that we’ve had since February. After four calls, supposedly the problem has been kicked up to something called “level 2” and we were promised that someone would get back to us in three days. No one has contacted us. We don’t know if the problem is even being worked on. We contacted the resort independently who were the ones who told us the entire reservation had been cancelled. Oh, wait, CC had just sent them a reservation - for ONE night only. Where are we supposed to stay after that? The resort quoted us prices that were well above the discount we’d gotten through CC in February. Now we have no idea what’s going on and cannot get anyone at CC to respond other than the first level of agents who say they have no way to fix the problem and we just have to wait until someone from the mysterious “level 2” decides to call us. Do we cancel our dog sitting reservations? Should we go ahead and get our COVID tests? No one knows

Absolutely the worst. We had to cancel and re-book our trip due to COVID and continuously got the runaround from them. First it was we just had to be-book our trip by a certain date, then it was travel by that date. Then we were told we had a hotel and airline credit SEPARATELY - so we paid additional money because the hotel was now more expensive, and when we tried to use the remaining airline credit - was told that it was actually a Cheap Caribbean credit (So should never had paid the hotel upcharge). Spend over 2 hours on the phone with them multiple times...

Cancelled a trip due to covid in 2020. They won't allow us to use partial credit. 614$ credit must be used all at one or it will be lost and only can be limited to one person. Customer service is very slow. Took 3 hours to use credit and lose 300$ in the process. BEWARE DO NOT USE

Like so many others we had to make changes to travel due to Covid last year. Travel credits were offered however a large sum was taking from the initial booking amount and was said to be a cancellation fee from airline. However airlines have stopped collecting these fees given current issues. Multiple phone calls with many different answers.. promised return phone calls never happened. Promised email correspondence never arrived and no transparency in regards to these fees. Airline says they were not collected. CC will not let me speak with supervisor. As part of their phone tree one of the options is to press #4 to contest travel credit amount or #5 contest refund amount.. Both of these options result in the phone call being disconnected instantly. I have used this company in the passed and had been satisfied however it is clear that they have overextended themselves during the travel disruptions of covid and have turned to unethical/illegal practices to retain funds.
