UPDATE-Whew was I mad about this! I called back yesterday and learned that a travel voucher is not so bad after all. Why? Because the cost of the trip is returned and can be used at ANY location that they offer within 13 months. The customer service representative was very empathetic with my situation and made every attempt to make things better. Although a refund would have been better, plan B is workable and I appreciate the efforts made by customer service!

I would like to start off and say please do not book with cheap Caribbean. The customer service I was given was absolutely terrible!! To give you insight on the matter. Our customer service rep was Janyse had stated she would switch our transport to and from the hotel a day later (which she did not). We landed at our destination and nothing was in order. She was supposed to give us a call back to confirm that our flight back was reinstated. Along with getting us a refund for the day we had not been at the hotel(which we paid for). We were on the phone with customer representatives for a total of 18 hours. Back and forth and no resolution. Additionally, we had called and a customer service representative had stated and I quote “ maybe you should loose that attitude”. Mind you, I have been very frustrated with the entire situation and had tried to hold my composure. But we had been trying to contact a supervisor and no one would transfer us. That customer service representative then proceeded to drop the call on us. Overall it was a terrible experience dealing with cheap Caribbean and I will never travel with them ever again. We had travel protection and all. Please do not take what I have stated above with a grain of salt! The company’s customer service is truly terrible!

We have been continually lied to and dismissed by this company for over a year and a half regarding a trip scheduled and canceled in April of 2020. We were set to travel in April of 2020 when, because of the pandemic, had to cancel our plans. Because of the circumstances we were comfortable with Cheap Caribbean giving us credit for our trip, as we hoped to do the trip at some point in the future. We continued to communicate with the company regarding how long the credit would be good for, alternatives, etc. Multiple calls to the company with multiple representatives let us know that we had an airline credit and a trip credit. In the spring of 2021, we decided to utilize our credits by traveling to the US Virgin Islands as we are not comfortable traveling internationally at this time. They informed us that we had to travel with our original air carrier (which was a CANADIAN airline, we live in the UNITED STATES). The borders have been closed so we were unable to travel to Canada to use the credit with this specific airline. We booked the trip with our 'travel' credits and had to pay additionally out of pocket for the airfare for the trip. We were informed by Cheap Caribbean that WestJet has our air credits. We contacted WestJet to find out our options for usage given that we are unable to travel to Canada to use their airlines. WestJet informed us that Cheap Caribbean has our credits/money and they cannot help us directly. Upon speaking to various representatives for hours, conference calls between the airline and the company, emails and promises of call back - the company is not refunding our credits, not allowing us to book a flight through them with the SPECIFIC airline they SAY we have to use due to them having our credits. The only option they are giving us is to book ANOTHER trip with them to a Caribbean location (even though WestJet flies to US destinations). They have STOLEN $1600 dollars from us with no recourse, no options and no care. We have already worked to use our credits with them, were told LIES about being able to use our air credit, and have continued to LIE to us regarding who has our money. This will be posted on every review website and reported to every agency possible. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY, NOT COMMUNICATE, NOT ASSIST, AND YOU WILL WASTE YOUR LIFE TRYING TO GET ANY RESOLUTION.
We purchased our ticket before COVID
We purchased our ticket before COVID, but of course everything was closed down when it was time for us to travel. They wouldn't give us a refund, and only extended our credit to December 15, 2021. Well, there is still COVID, so I asked to have our credit extended or refunded because we won't be able to travel before then, and there are still too many restrictions. However, they said no way, we are keeping your money. I think they could handle this better.

As I sit and wait for someone (a representative) in post-travel to pick up (been on hold over 90 minutes), I will write my review. I don't know what happened to this company, however, customer service is horrendous!!!! I have been trying to get promised travel credits added to my trip and all I get is the run around and long wait times. I have been trying to get this straightened out since May and still no help. I so regret booking my trip with them. I don't trust them. Also seems to be outsourcing work to other agencies. If you do go on a trip and need to speak with someone because of an issue...I don't think that you would be able to get in touch with anyone, which is frightening. I once loved this company, now I am certain I will not utilize their services ever again.
Fraudulent business
If you are reading this review before you purchased a package from CheapCarribean.com, don’t do business with them. The company offers you a good deal package, goes all the way to get your money, sells you protection plan in case you need to cancel or change, but cancelling your trip and receive your money back is not possible. My 83 years old mother purchased a package during COVID pandemic with protection plan. She called company before purchasing to confirm she can make changes or cancel. She explained that due to her age and health conditions she needs to have ability to cancel and she was assured by the business that she can do it any time. She paid over $2800 as a deposit. 10 days later, her doctor advised her not to travel, and she called to cancel. Now I will describe multiple phone calls, emails and interaction with the company to cancel this package. 1) my mother called to cancel. Customer service said they are not refunding airfare, they are not refunding cost of the protection plan, but we will receiving net credit (points for future travel) worth $400. 2)we called airline directly, and asked if it’s even legal to not refund airfare and can we cancel this airfare directly with the airline. The airline customer service cancelled the airfare and assured us that all airfares are refundable, can be cancelled any time during pandemic. However, the airline will have to return funds to the company who paid for the tickets. 3) we called cheapcarribean.com again. Now, we have airfare cancellation and email communication from the airfare. We are requesting to cancel the package and receive our money back. Customer service accepts the airfare cancellation, and adds airfare cost as points to future travel. Now we have $2400 worth of points . 4) we called again and again asking to get our money back. The only respond we get is ‘it is company policy’ not to refund customers in form of funds. 5) once during my multiple phone calls someone suggested to write an email to headquarters, attach doctors note and ask to cancel package for refund. We sent email, which returned with the message that mailbox is not monitored. 6) we filed report with consumer protection agency,
Do not use at all
Pls be aware. Do not use. They say they give back future travel credits but every agent says a different amount. In the end, the customer loses money and they just take all your money giving you back barely anything. Long hold times, cannot be trusted. I have email correspondence with them of my travel amount but they do not honor it. They just say that the agent misinformed me.Beware!!!

They are a rip off
They are a rip off! I had to cancel my trip do to Covid. They said they would credit my account back the money. It’s been almost 2 months now. When I tried to email them or call them they blocked my email and phone #... Don’t add on extras either because you don’t get them.
TERRIBLE BARBADOS TRIP
We had a trip planed for Barbados 8/17/21 -8/21/21 for hubbys 60th bday. AA cancelled our flight out Tuesdy CC never notified us. We had to end up book a extra day to fly out earlier. We paid for transportation, got a email/conformation #. Get to Barbados and the company they sent in the email has no record of us. After two hours we decided to pay for transportation to the hotel. Come to find out they send us the wrong transportation company in the confirmation letter, which I still have. Get to the hotel the Fairomont Royal Pavallion at 650 per night and they have absolutely no reservation under me or my husbands name. FOR 3 WHOLE HOURS WE HAD TO SIT OUT IN THE HEAT AND MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS, to try and find out what happened. Once again CC sent us a reservation that did not exist, but yet that had our money. Finally after 3 hours the hotel staff was able to track down confirmation for payment. NEVER EVER AGAIN WOULD I USE CC AGAIN!!! It is totally impossible to get to a live person. And they tell yo story after story...Just all lies, after they have your money. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TRAVEL COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!
The worst travel company ever
I would give zero stars if that was an option. DO NOT use this travel company! We had Covid-related cancellations and they are making it virtually impossible to access my flight credits. The paperwork clearly states that flights can be released and booked directly with the airlines but the "release" procedure doesn't seem to exist. Long wait times and lots of double talk.

Worst Company EVER
Horrible company, never do business with them. Booked vacation, due to covid it was cancelled. We called to rebook early this year, using our voucher. They said we were reserved and paid for. We leave tomorrow for our trip for one week. CC sent an email 2 days before we leave claiming we had a balance due and were cancelling our reservation. We called them & found out they never applied our voucher. They said they would and would TRY to have it done by the time we leave. Called today, they said we still have a balance due of $50 and an overpayment of $119. They want us to pay the $50 and they want to give us a voucher for the $119. We will never use them ever. We are still trying to resolve our issue. Our flight leaves at 8am tomorrow and my husband has been on the phone with them all morning today. He just got disconnected (for the 4th time) and has to call them back. Do yourself a favor, use Apple. These folks at CC are NOT reputable. I have never had so much trouble in my life. It is Friday at 12:14 & we still do not know if we have a vacation tomorrow. Really? Not professional at all.
Cheap Caribbean mistake why should I wait
I been with Cheap Caribbean in booking my vacation trips for many years why this time recently I experienced my full vacation package paid trip which Philadelphia airport they saw my flight was canceled that I had to pay $270.72 for round trip flight which caused me to have bad seating on plane. Have proof of this extra cost but I have to wait in line for Cheap Caribbean to solve the issue for my refund, you wait on phone for hours and when you finally get someone they can't rectify the problem of them seeing my emailed proof to them but they say someone will get in touch and investigate, investigate you made the mistake with the booking and why should I wait for my refund. Very disappointed

Worst vacation experience ever
Worst vacation experience ever! My group booked a 7-day vacation To Jamaica using Cheap Caribbean. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected emergency I needed to switch my flight to leave earlier. The airline will not switch my flight as it was purchased using third party services. Trying to contact Cheap Caribbean has a complete nightmare. I’ve tried calling and using the chat - both have extremely long wait times! Finally, I scheduled a call back from the during team, only for them to hang up on my due to poor connection yet I could hear the rep’s child screaming in the background. I’ve sent emails and didn’t receive a response so I ended up booking a new flight. Such a total waste of time and money!! RUN anytime you hear this company’s name. Do not book!!

This site is a scam
We booked a 5 day all inclusive vacation that included flight. Upon checking in we discovered that the "ALL Inclusive" price did not include any bag; not even carry on! That added an extra $200 to our trip. So Stay away from this website and book elsewhere the headache of dealing with these people, their scam-like practices and their poor customer service is not worth the money you are supposedly saving up front. Do not book with them.

Booked vacation to Antigua with my boyfriend for April 2020 (cancelled due to COVID) and received future travel credit to book a new vacation which was totally understood given circumstances. Upon booking a second trip 1 year after booking first, we received notice 2 months later that the hotel closed. At this point, the vacation needs to be cancelled as passports have expired and we're having issues with passport processing delays. Additionally, my boyfriend is starting new job through academy for 6 months and will be on probationary period. I explained the situation to customer service and they said they couldn't do anything, used insurance credit we bought to cancel airline even though we booked through Delta prior to April 30th, 2021 in which ALL flights were refundable/no-fee cancellation (definitely scamming to take additional money from travel credit). I asked for an extension on using the travel credit (MY OWN MONEY) and they said an extension is not possible at all and the new expiration date to rebook is dec 15 2021(makes no sense, I booked previous vacation jan 7th 2020 and rebooked 2nd vacation jan 4th, 2021). However, they said we could extend the expiration date if we pay $404.96 in addition to our balance TO USE AS TRAVEL CREDIT. They refused to put me through to supervisor or accounting services and customer services continued to tell me over and over that they could not help me. I was only offered an EMAIL to contact them with my situation and customer services didn't want to disclose supervisor's name to address in an email. They are a nightmare to deal with on the phone and only use middle men to tell you they can't accommodate your situation. I will never book a vacation through a 3rd party, especially this particular one. I DO NOT recommend giving Cheap Caribbean your money, prices are similar on hotel websites anyway!

We booked a room with a double bed and ocean view, when we arrived at the resort in Cancun they informed us that they did not have rooms with a double bed and ocean view, it took us more than 3 hours to solve the problem, we were calling cheap caribian to See if they could help us but they never solved the problem, in the end they gave us a room and put a matress on us, at night it rained and our room flooded, they gave us another worse room and we kept insisting that cheap caribian help us But they never returned our call, not even to apologize, I recommend that you do not use this page because they are only interested in our money and never solve problems,

The Worst Experience Ever
I wish I could give cheap Caribbean zero stars, it is definitely the worst customer service I've ever received, I booked a vacation and when I called to cancel they canceled without explaining anything to me then I find out that they should've helped me reschedule instead as the credit takes a whole month to get processed and they will not refund my money so I have to wait until the credit gets processed. I called anyway to see if they can reschedule over the phone and that has taken 5 phone calls and several representatives that have no idea what they are doing. Currently I have been waiting on the line for 40minutes and they have not helped me re-book. This experience has been the worst for me. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!

Once they have your money
Once they have your money, they will NOT refund you or work with you. Worst customer service if you’re rebooking with a credit. We spent hours upon hours trying to book a vacation with our previous credit and it has been impossible. They have zero knowledge of their services and you have to wait online for hours. I still have not resolved my issued was not able to speak to a manager. Don’t waste you money please, it’s super frustrating. You can book on other sites. Even though it says that an agent from CC will contact you below, they still didn’t solve my problem and ended up paying $3,000 more than expected. Ripoff!

DON'T DO IT, ITS A SCAM!!!
I will never spend another dime through Cheap Caribbean ever again. As a matter of fact, I have booked about three trips since then, and realized it's a bit cheaper doing it myself. So, thank you Cheap Caribbean for your unprofessionalism. I will make sure that I post this on every review site.
To make a long story short, I booked a trip through Cheap Caribbean to go to Mexico. Once I arrived, I immediately went to the front desk to check in, only for them to tell me that they have no reservations with me. I had the confirmation email to verify and still it was not in their system. I said no problem Sir, I will just call them myself. I called and spoke to several representatives through the chat on the site (In which the dialog, I still saved and have) and all they kept telling me was that they were busy, and it was nothing that they could do at the moment. I literally had to come out of my pocket to pay for a room that was already paid for! I called them throughout my trip (Which that was in February) up until today (In July) and I have yet to resolve this issue! I am so furious that I had to spend $550.00 of my hard-earned money on something that I already paid for. You guys lost a faithful customer, and I will continue to spread the bad news about this company, because this organization seems to be corrupt. I won’t stop until I get reimbursed. I still have the confirmation for it and the receipt at the place when I paid. Absolutely furious!
