Sedum restaurant
Sedum restaurant. Shocked. Price of breakfast has gone up. 4 portions is £7.75 and 7 is £9.95. Tea and standard coffee are no longer included but are extra. So I had a 7 item breakfast plus tea and it cost £12.45! It’s not the Ritz! Used to quite regularly visit for a breakfast but never again.
alot of younger staff ride u
alot of younger staff, rude and not helpful. Moaned about making my pizza in front of me and sighed as she was about to go on her break. As a birthday visit we were left very disappointed. People left waiting at sandwich area for a long time. Not enough staff serving the food left waiting around wondering where to go. The staff are are clearly not trained and not enough of them. Not friendly at all.
Very sad of the changes.

Cold expensive breakfast?
Well came for breakfast and was disappointed.
- Venue was chilly.
- Price of breakfast has gone up. 4 portions is £7.75 and 7 is £9.95.
- teas and standard coffees are no longer included and extra
- had to ask for jams and was told to go to another section and not in normal place
- asked for orange juice machine to be turned on and no one came out to help so walked away
- had to wait for teas and coffees so breakfast was only just warm when we sat down
- toast again goes on cold plates.
- plates are not hot so warm food cools down quicker.
Am disappointed as been coming here for years.
What about when the new ULEZ comes in.. chessington are in the zone so means you have to pick your time or have a £12.50 a day charge.
Could go to Toby Carvery for a cheaper breakfast and they are not in the zone.
Coming here this morning i did wonder why the car park wasn't full.
They had got rid of alot of staff during lockdown and alot of younger staff are in but clearly not been trained and not enough of them.
Very sad of the changes.
Visited the garden centre this week
Visited the garden centre this week, was really nicely laid out and had a good range of garden furniture that was high quality. We also popped into the café for some lunch which was delicious. The staff were also very friendly, will definitely be coming back more in the Spring.

Had wonderful experience at CGC…
Had wonderful experience at CGC yesterday. From my first time visiting this place, i was happy to find the staff were all super helpful and showed me round the great range of garden furniture they had at a rather decent price considering the clear quality of the products. Will definitely be returning again as my new local spot.

Great after sales service with BBQ purchase
I don't normally write good reviews but the professionalism and great after sales service I received having spent a large amount (over £1400) on a ceramic Kamado grill was faultless. Charlie Marshall in particular showed how things should be done. Subsequently I have recommended CGC to many people.

Don’t bother if you want a hot breakfast!
Two breakfasts this morning costing nearly £20 both stone cold and rock hard eggs and half a tomato is classed as 1 item of a 7 piece breakfast, whoever is the restaurant manager he or she should know hot food should go on hot plates not cold ones. The whole breakfast was awful will be going to Garson Farm in the future.

Hard to get help for a simple question…
Hard to get help for a simple question of where are your cable ties, they have not had them for a year I was told by a worker, went to Crossys Home and Garden in Hinchley Wood and bought a packet , they had loads, poor.

We purchased a Enjoi Eden grey dining…
We purchased a Enjoi Eden grey dining set £2,209 last Feb.2021 As we had spent so much on the furniture, we felt we should buy the correct covers for our furniture. Due to hold-ups on deliveries, not able to unload tankers etc. none of which was your fault. So after waiting so long we were able to buy the covers in September 2021 ( I have the receipt). This is where my disappointment with the covers starts. Nothing to tie the covers on to the furniture, so they constantly blow off, so had to secure with heavy bricks etc around the bottom edges. If it rained, we had to go and lift the covers and empty the rain which had collected, on the top . The quality of the covers I feel are rubbish, do not do the job they are meant for and for £131.99 not a cheap choice. I have seen better covers in Robert Dias for less money and better quality. I would not recommend these to anyone. Disappointed customer

Lovely staff, great cafe, allows dogs in shop area
I'm local to this place and really rate it. Good selection of a wide variety of stuff, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. It can be a bit pricey but not as much as some of the other local garden places.
It's a shame (for me) that dogs aren't allowed in the indoor cafe area anymore. Outside seating is alright, but only if you are with someone else. I can't come on my own now, because I'm too worried about my dog getting nicked when I'm inside getting my scone. Maybe this is something to do with coronavirus and the addition of the adjoining farm-shop/ food regulations. And I do realise not everyone likes canines so I may be in a minority on this!

Not what it used to be
The garden centre used to serve hearty portions of homemade cakes, fresh food, good coffee and importantly, was extremely dog friendly. None of those seem to apply anymore. I'm sad to say but despite the updated looks, it has gone from a solid go-to place to what is, in my opinion, a place to avoid. You will find better food elsewhere, and will need to pay less for it.

Was absolutely disappointed arrived…
Was absolutely disappointed arrived with my 90 year old mum to have a meal in the restaurant as usual with her little dog then we were going to buy all her and my Christmas presents. We didn’t bother as no dog seating inside. Off to Dobbies or Squires who at least welcome dogs

Don't buy black limestone!
Love the garden centre and over the years have purchased alot of great things .
There is a but though, we decided to renovate our patio areas top and bottom of the garden and saw the black limestone paving which looked very nice in the show area.
After purchasing and having it laid by professionals we were very, very disappointed as after only 2 weeks or so the paving already looked tired like a patio that had been down ten years.
Contacted them and not very helpful at all .
I get its a natural stone and variations occur.
If you are thinking of purchasing this do alot of research and look at reviews!
Ripping it all up and using for hardcore.
Great setting & food for breakfast but…
Great setting & food for breakfast but was left irritated as the server poured the baked beans all over the bacon sausage mushrooms & hash brown. I prefer them to have there own space as not to sodden everything.
No pricing on the Zest 4 Leisure PT Waney Lap fence Panels.

Thank you for your reply to my last…
Thank you for your reply to my last message trying to make your company look good saying you will contact me regarding any news, but you haven’t contacted once since March when I enquired about these bit so why would you contact me now??
Trying to save face for the company maybe????
With regards to the COVID or what ever excuse you wanna tell me can you please justify the rudeness I got from one of your Directors saying nothing he can do & just have to wait.
Thanks Steve Terry.
